Belkin Folio Ipod Nano White Case

Advantages: Clean, Tough, Looks very well built
Disadvantages: Expensive, have to remove to charge, slightly gets in the way of the hold button

...When I purchased my Ipod nano, I have heard plenty about how easily they are damaged so I made sure along side its purchase I ordered a case. I chose this on because it was a Belkin case which I like that brand. It also was white to match the Ipod and it also looked quite appealing to me for my tastes. Unfortunately the case was quite expensive coming in at about 15 pounds from the apple website but at least I was pleased to se it came with a "free/something to make it seem like your money was well spent" screen protector. The protector itself is a little film of plastic that is non-adhesive so it does not stick to your screen for easy removal. The case is made of nice looking quality leather. It is stitched so it's not just cheaply glued together. The inside is very soft and smooth so it is not to scratch the delicate mirror...

Save your Touch from scratches

...I treated myself to an iPod Touch last month - full review to come shortly, no doubt. One thing that drew me to the Touch was its looks: a beautiful, shiny stainless steel back and the large screen on the front. However, I soon noticed that the steel case soon lost its sheen and proved great at showing off finger prints! I therefore decided I needed a case. A quick online search showed a huge variety, ranging in price from a few pounds to fancy Italian ones at over £200. The Belkin was on Amazon at only £4.99, though had apparently been on sale at closer to £20. I thought it was worth a go as I was going to have to buy without seeing it in the flesh, and fiver seemed worth a punt. The case is leather, and comes in black or brown [mine is brown]. ipod touch review

Advantages: Attractive, easy to use touch screen and applications

...In my opinion the iPod touch is the best in the MP3 player category. With features such as the applications and album artwork it is much more than just a music playing device. However, I would recommend most music listeners to go for a higher memory option. The headphones are not very durable however, and are expensive to replace. That s one drawback of the iPod, all the accessories and software updates tend to be expensive. With the accessories it may be best to look elsewhere than the official Apple products as there are good alternatives. Unless you want a simple music player, in which case I would recommend the iPod shuffle, I think this easily beats the competition in attractiveness and, like most Apple products, just being cool! Its is not the cheapest in its category, but I think it is without a doubt the best....

Belkin in your pocket or just pleased to see me?

...When I got my new iPod classic a few months ago, I decided I definitely needed a case to protect my new baby from scratches and getting broken rattling around in my bag. I opted for this smart case from Belkin, in a pretty light/bright green colour. I bought it on Amazon Marketplace and at the time it was some ridiculous price like 1p plus p&p from Germany of around £7. So overall pretty cheap as far as iPod accessories go. It is now for sale directly from Amazon for £13.99 or on Amazon Marketplace from £10. Aside from the green I chose, the case comes in black, silver, clear, blue, pink and probably more which weren't available where I bought mine. For the coloured versions, the front is coloured brushed aluminium with the back clear acrylic. The version I bought was made specifically for the new iPod classic 80 and 160GB models...

Unfortunately there is a just a little bit more bad news you cannot delete anything on the iPod on till you remove it from your iTunes gallery and plug your iPod into your computer and synchronise it put what's on your friends computer on your iPod . If you own an iPod I'm sure you will agree that the worst thing about them is that when you take it out of the box first time is all shiny and new but within days is scratched and covered in sticky finger marks which make it all look very dirty. Also if you are buying this as a gift for someone or just yourself you should consider adding in an iTunes gift card with it they are sold in many places. I would also recommend you get a cover or case for the iPod as well to help stop it from getting scratched and dented I have a genuine leather case it lets you access...

...While I'm more than happy with my ipod there has always been one aspect that bugs me a bit. Where are you meant to put it while in the process of being mobile? Itouch - Ipod Heaven

Advantages: Great Memory Capacity, Easy To Use, Fabulous Design, Wi-Fi Capacity, Music Tab Switches

...have to use headphones (which is akin to all Ipods), but on a phone you can listen to it on loudspeaker. Another problem with the Touch is the casing - both the 'screen' front and the 'mirror' back is easily covered with fingerprints or scratches - I highly recommend buying both a screen protector and a case a.s.a.p. if you do decide to buy a Touch (the Touch does come with a removable clear screen cover - but this is not designed to be permanent - and it comes off easily). The other essential accessory, which wasn't included when I bought the Touch, was a mains charger and docking cradle - you could only charge it through the USB connector lead that was included (fortunately I was able to use my Ipod Classic mains docking cradle - once I had changed the adaptor 'rest' inside the cradle). ...I have had my ipod classic for nearly two years now and ive only ever had one fault with it, and even then apple sent a U.P.S van out with package, i returned it with the driver and the ipod was sent back to me full circle in three days. I have owned the ipod shuffle and the video and i would have to say the classic is the best. The menus are easy to minovure around and the coverflow is a very nice touch.
