Erm, it's a cable!
Review of Belkin patch cable - 15 m by
Weltmeister
Advantages: Good build quality, brand name
Disadvantages: A bit pricey.
...Okay, so before everyone gets too excited at the prospect of reading a review about a network cable, I'll bring you all back down to Earth and try to convince you why this one is so great...
If you've bought computer peripherals before, you will probably be familiar with Belkin, who are particularly well-known for their USB products. Belkin make all sorts of cables, including a variety of ethernet network cables.
This is a Cat 5 standard network cable (coloured red, but you can get it in many other colours, including black, grey, yellow, green, blue etc).
One of the major problems with network cables is their tendency to snag when bent through a small radius, and because of the way the individual wires are twisted around eachother inside the cable, this can lead to network errors. The Belkin cable claims to be snagless, and whilst I...

If you want extra speed, then go for this
Review of Belkin patch cable - 6.1 m by
talonsco
Advantages: Good cable,
Disadvantages: Quite pricey
...Network cables are maybe not the first thing you think of when considering a network but they should be.
You can have a super fast router but if your cable isnt up to it, then why bother. Belkin are the standard setters in the network cable world. If you want top quality then you buy belkin. So if your considering sharing an internet connection to play games etc then you really need decent cable.
However, if like me you only share your connection for browsing and downloading, then you don't really need this kind of high quality cable. I personally have cable running that I bought for £2.14 for a 15m cable (that includes the connectors on the end). For internet browsing etc this is fine.
In conclusion, if you need speed and low ping times then belkin is the way to go. You can even use the snagless cable to allow easier running...

Review of Belkin N1 Wireless Modem Router - wireless router by
pgn0
Advantages: compact, good front-panel display, wall-mountable
Disadvantages: temperamental web interface, lots of virtual knobs, bells and whistles
...casing that has wall-mount holes, and claims to push super-fast wireless networking to a radius of 425m from the unit. And it comes with a Manufacturers Lifetime Warranty (sic).
Here's how I managed to get it going to accommodate my need to work from a room at the very opposite end of the house from where the ADSL connection was installed...
What you get for your money
-----------------------------------------
The silver-topped Belkin box looks attractive, with HIGH performance being the most obvious feature on the front. One side-panel gives you three easy steps to get you started - 1. Connect; 2. Configure; 3. Set Up. The other side-panel shows the technical specs, and the back panel explains clearly what's in the box, what it does and the way the unit communicates to you in blue (or amber if something's amiss!) icons what's happening...

Another Cable Review!
Review of Belkin High Speed Internet Modem Cable modem cable - 2.1 m by
Weltmeister
Advantages: Durable; Brand name; Reliable
Disadvantages: Relatively expensive; Overkill for a 56k connection
..., which is a nice touch. They also prevent the tab from being snapped off. The plug itself is moulded onto the cable, although the BT plug is the standard crimp-on variety.
Looking at the plugs more closely, the contacts are plated with 24 CT gold. Although I am sceptical about any performance gains, I would agree that it will certainly help with durability, since the gold will resist oxidation which would cause signal degradation.
The technology used in the construction of this cable is very similar to the technology used for Belkin's standard range of Cat 5 ethernet network cables. In fact, Belkin claims that this cable can support data transfer rates up to 100 Mb/s. Those sort of speeds are way off into the future, in terms of what you can get through a standard telephone or even broadband line, so you have to question whether...

"Pre-N"inent Wireless Performance
Review of Belkin Wireless Pre-N Desktop Network Card Network adapter by
LegendaryMrDude
Advantages: Range, Speed, Reliability
Disadvantages: Bulkier than other PC-Cards, slightly more expensive
...Wireless networking has been evolving over the last 5 years. From the humble beginnings of 802.11b WiFi that provided bandwidth of 11megabits per second through to the newer 802.11a and 802.11g that upped the performance to 54mbps. With each technology advance, vendors have been keen to get their products to market early - usually before the standards for interoperability have been finalised.
Unsurprisingly, things are no different with the latest wave of improvements. 802.11n is the next advance in wireless networking, using clever tricks with aerials to improve range and speed. Of course 802.11n isn't ratified as a standard yet but this hasn't stopped the major vendors from lining up products that take advantage of it. NetGear and Belkin are the two biggest names that are actively pushing the new Multi-In Multi-Out (MIMO) technology...

Freedom of Wireless
Review of Belkin Wireless G Access Point F5D7130 by
nemesis2004
Advantages: Fast, Easy Setup
Disadvantages: Technology beginning to become outdated
...for security.
**The Package**
There are a few variations of this package; you can get it with or without the network cards.
You should get a power supply - because it is not a router, you do not need to position the unit near a telephone line, only a CAT5 network cable into your existing network. If you are using it as a Wireless Range Extender, you don't need to connect it to the network.
To get you setup, a Quick Installation Guide is included. If that fails, it comes with an extensive user manual with all major European languages. It includes a step-by-step setup guide to get you up and running within minutes!
If you chose to register your device, you should get a registration card. This covers the warrantee as well.
And obviously, the Belkin 802.11g Wireless Access Point is in there too!

grimworld
Advantages: fast, allows shared broadband, different lengths, cheap
Disadvantages: none
...its bright red!
Since its a Belkin it also has their life time warranty so if it should ever have a malfunction they will replace it for free, this is always good to know.
The price of this item isnt that much i paid £15 for mine from p.c world though some cost more and some cost less all depends on the bandwith of the cable and the length.
You can buy this product from places such as p.c world and dixions,
