How Tinker Bell Began!
Advantages: A nice, magical film
Disadvantages: Definately aimed at a younger audience!
...When I was babysitting last night, I got roped into watching ?Tinker Bell?, a film from Walt Disney where Tinker Bell is the main character. We get to learn all about Tinker Bell how she became a ?Tinker? (one of the types of fairy).
The animation in this is very ?new? Disney. It is all 3D and computer animated and looks very much like the animation did in ?The Incredibles?, not like the old Disney films. I have to say I don?t think I like the animation in the new look films as much as the animation in the old films.
The film starts off with the narrator explaining the jobs of fairies, which is to craft out nature, adding all the little details to things like snow flakes, giving light and colour to flowers, and helping all creatures. The narrator when goes on to say that when a baby first laughs a fairies life takes flight, we then see...

Were You 'Saved By The Bell'?!
Advantages: One of the best TV shows from my childhood and one I still enjoy watching now
Disadvantages: The characters are a bit predictable, as are the storylines and it's not on TV a lot anymore : (
...(Note: Ok, ok, so this is a long review (huh, no change there) but please keep in mind that this is about Saved By The Bell as a whole rather than just a season of the show...sorry in advance!)
If you happen to be a child of the late 1980s and early 1990s, you may have come across an American adolescent sitcom called Saved By The Bell, a programme which I should have grown out of years ago but still find enjoyable to watch. As it?s way past Valentines Day, it feels like the right time to express such admiration for one of America?s truly corniest exports; set in the fictional Bayside High School, the series follows the lives of a group of friends as they do battle with everyday teenager trials including school, love and friendship and not to mention the bad 80s hairstyles and fashion!

Ding Dong, Bell Direct
Advantages: Great customer and general speed and services provision
Disadvantages: To stay loyal after declaring points is near impossible
...Bell Direct is an insurance company part of the Admiral Group offering insuring services
Service
Naturally if you are looking for car insurance you would shop around to look for the cheapest deal. In my opinion the greatest thing the Bell offered when calling around was a complete comprehensive detail of the facts in a highly commendable manner. The only downsite was they use 0870 or 0844 numbers which aren't exactly cheap. But generally I found the staff very useful.
Price
Bell, are cheap and offer good invitation prices with perks thrown in. Except, I found that whatever promotion to get you to sign up is getting a cheap quote, that cheap policy does not last. And they are cheap to under 25's, the odd penalty points and non- NCB's compared to competitors. When I first took out a policy, they were efficient...

Esmerelda, the bells have made me deaf
Advantages: A beautiful setting for a sunny evening. Big dishes.
Disadvantages: Watch out for the cats!
...A Memorable Destination
It's a very long time since I was last at the Bells of Peover. I think it must have been at least 15 or 16 years ago - it's a wonder I can even remember the place at all. The reason why I can remember is because when I went, a visit to the Bells of Peover constituted 'A Big Day Out'. I was working in my first job, not on a massive salary and not in the habit of expensive meals out. I believe the boyfriend and I even took a day off work just to drive out to the countryside to have lunch because he'd heard great things about the place.
Back then the Bells of Peover was a yuppie paradise: a multi-award winning gastro pub at a time when nobody had even started to use the term 'gastro pub'. We drove down in our beat up old car and hid it in a dark corner of the car park where it wouldn't be too intimidated by...

Is the game over for Belle?
Advantages: Entertaining, easy to read
Disadvantages: Not as entertaining or shocking as the first book
...I read the first book by Belle de Jour a couple of years ago, after watching a few episodes of the ITV2 series 'The Secret Diary of a Call Girl' which starred Billie Piper. At that time, there was some controversy about the TV series and the book on which is based, with accusations that they were glamourising prostitution and potentially encouraging vulnerable young women into the sex industry. When I spotted 'Playing the Game' in the library, I automatically assumed that this was the sequel to 'The Intimate Adventures of a London Call Girl' but this is actually the third book in the series. Despite the controversy and publicity surrounding the original book and the subsequent TV series, I wasn't actually aware that a follow up book, much less two books, had also been published.
Despite not having read the second book, I started...

Belling DB2 stainless steel range
Advantages: wok burner, robust, large oven capacity.
Disadvantages: hard to clean hob, variable gas distribution, unbelievably heavy.
...It took 4 people to lift this and it was delivered on a pallett, they wouldn't undo it for fear of damage... It was also very expensive to have fitted as it needed both gas and electric but doesn't take standard gas fitting and they weren't supplied. After nearly 3 months, I finally got belling to send some.
It's worth considering that it's cast iron inside.... I had to reinforce the floor, drastic but necessary yet no-one warned me of the weight in store and it wasn't on any literature.
Belling customer service were excruiciatingly slow and unhelpful. No-one at comet would help as it was bellings problem... I went round in circles for ages.
Hard to clean hob as bits get in all the ridges in the corners, you cannot use standard cleaner on it either... at least, not without scratching or damaging it.
The ovens are great...

Belle of the ball
Advantages: cheap, effective, easy to use
Disadvantages: smell of conditioner
...I?ve been dyeing my hair for a few years, and have used several different brands of hair dye, but the main ones I use are L?Oreal Casting, and Garnier Nutrisse. Recently I noticed my roots were showing, and so went to buy some more dye, and for no particular reason, decided to try Garnier Belle Colour.
~About the product~
This is a permanent home hair dye kit. The dye covers 100% of grey hair. In a box you get the following:
- One 60ml bottle of developer milk
- One 40ml tube of ?Color-Ease? crème
- One 15ml sachet of conditioner crème
- One pair of disposable gloves
- Instruction leaflet
~Preparation~
As with all home hair dye kits, you must do a skin allergy test 48 hours before using the kit. This is extremely important to prevent potentially dangerous allergic reactions. If, after 48 hours you have experienced no...

My little Belling!
Advantages: Works a treat, looks fantastic, self-cleaning, energy efficient.
Disadvantages: None that I can think of
...When my husband put in our new kitchen a little while ago, I had a field day choosing all the different appliances I would need to go with my new units. For the cooking area we chose a separate hob (Electrolux) but decided to opt for a different manufacturer for our oven. The one we opted for was a Belling built under electric double fan oven - XOU593. After shopping around various places we found the cheapest we could find was from Sainsbury's on-line. We bought our hob and kitchen units from B&Q and the salesman desperately wanted us to buy the oven from him too, but it would have cost us approximately £55 more if we had, so we decided to go with Sainsbury. We paid £465.00 plus delivery and it arrived within 3 working days!
We've had this oven now for about eighteen months and never had any bother with it at all. What...

For Whom the Bell Tolls!
Advantages: A traditional pub with a great atmosphere.
Disadvantages: None really!
...Pubs are great! They sell beer and are a wonderful place to meet people and socialise. One of my current favourite watering holes is The Blue Bell in Bolsover, Derbyshire ~ a favourite thanks to it being close to where I live (accesible by public transport), has an excellent beer range (very important to me as a CAMRA member) and is welcoming too.
~~~WHERE IS IT?
The Blue Bell is located at 57 High Street in Bolsover. It?s not far from Bolsvoer Castle and near to the Church, so it is quite easy to find. If you are travelling north you will need to leave the M1 at junction 29 and take the road towards Mansfield (the A617). When you reach the Roundabout at Pleasley you need to head left onto the B6417 until you see the Bolsover signpost (you will now be on the A632). The pub is past the water tower and can be seen once you...
The Original Belle de Jour
Advantages: A classic of French cinema
Disadvantages: Challenging at times
..."Belle de Jour" was Buñuel's first film in colour and claimed the Golden Lion at the 1967 Venice Film Festival. It also won the award for Best Foreign Film in 1968 from the New York Film Critics Circle. It was based loosely on a novel by Joseph Kessel and like all of Buñuel's films it's subject matter borders on the surreal and draws upon prevalent ideas of Freudian theory and the idea that our everyday reality is constantly being undermined by subconscious hidden urges. What concerned Buñuel in many of his films was the way in which our underlying emotional forces and acts of sublimation override conscious acts of free will. This was the movie that inspired the website and the book of the same name that in turn inspired the TV series 'Secret Diary Of A Call Girl '.
The film portrays the double existence of Severine (Catherine Deneuve...
