Advantages: Great for kids of the show: they'll love it Disadvantages: Not so appealing for everyone else
...The concept of Ben10 has taken kids Tv by storm all over the world. The idea of a kid who finds and wears a watch that gives him the ability to change into one of 10 different aliens is quite clever, and no doubt one that every kid has dreamed of for years. But to put it into place as a cartoon series, and to make it work so well can have been no mean feat.
Armed with the success, Alex Winter (of Bill & Ted fame) went ahead as director for a live action film version. Set after the events of the original Ben10 series, we see Ben and his cousin Gwen as they fight against an evil stranger with powers neither of them have ever seen before. Ben and his collection of impressive aliens are faced with something far more dangerous than they have ever battled before, yet the fate of the world lies with Ben's ability to defeat the evil...
Advantages: Highly playable, good progression and compilation Disadvantages: Occasional movement control, frustration
..., and a winning one, and it's well adapted to Ben10AlienForce. You play each level with the character given to you, be it Ben, Kevin or Gwen, each with their different powers. Ben can naturally change into the various aliens that his alien watch, the Omnitrix, contains. What I like about this element of the game is that the main focus is on Ben, but he only starts off with one alien. You haver to progress through levels and defeat a certain number of enemies before learning a new move, or acquiring another alien.
As the game progresses and your repertoire of aliens and moves increases, so too does the level of difficulty. The first few levels are quite easy, but as the game progresses, we found ourselves more and more having to repeat levels to pass them. This can result in frustration, so it's well worth being on hand to help if it's needed...
Advantages: Encourages children to show an interest in time & numbers, Ben 10 design, interchangeable figures Disadvantages: A little bit overpriced
...Ben10 is a children's tv programme about a boy called Ben (surprisingly enough) who can transform himself into alien super-heroes by using his omnitrix. For those of you who don't have a Ben10 obsessed child, the omnitrix is a sort of watch with special powers. It has a big dial which Ben turns and clicks to select which particular alien he needs to turn into and he then sets about saving the world!
The Ben10 watch that I'm actually reviewing is, however, just a watch. If your little boy has been asking for an omnitrix for his birthday and describes it as a Ben10 watch, don't make the mistake of thinking that this watch will fit the bill. You'll have a very disappointed child when they realise! As a watch, however, this would make a reasonable little present or stocking filler for the Ben10 fan who has everything!
I bought...
Advantages: Smart looking scooter. Sturdy and well made. My son loves his! Disadvantages: Secret fold out drawer and little alien figures are a little bit of a gimmick
...My six year old son is obsessed by the Ben10 cartoon series, currently showing on the Cartoon Network TV channel. The programme itself features a boy (Ben) who can transform himself into alien super-heroes by using his omnitrix (a sort of watch) and defeats villians using his special powers. As with any successful children's programme, there is an abundance of spin-off products available designed to part parents from their cash - little figures (got them), DVDs (got them) and now even a scooter emblazoned with Ben10 images.
As far as tv programme merchandise goes, this scooter is actually of surprisingly good quality and, to be fair, not badly priced. We did some price comparisons before buying this for our son's birthday last September and found the cheapest stockist then to be Argos (at £34.99 compared to the RRP of £39.99.) Yes...
Advantages: Great quality, washes up lovely, and great range of matching products. Disadvantages: It could be a little cheaper.
...I brought A Ben10 Bed set for my 6 year old son he loves it.
In my opinion it is of high quality and great value
It has poppers which makes my job easier when changing the bed.
It has not faided out like other bed sets I have bought and I could not believe all the other matching products I can get to go with it .
I have also put it in the tumble dryer and it has come out fine and no need to iron.
I think that it is a Brilliant product and i would recommend it to any one with young children. My son thinks it is wonderful and wants to have it on his bed all the time.
From my point of view It would make a great Christmas gift or Birthday presant....
Advantages: A good way of carrying things Disadvantages: None
...Ready for school? ~~~
Don?t forget your backpack full of those essential things.
There are so many backpacks around these days with pictures of favourite characters. I had to use a boring school satchel carried over 1 shoulder. So if your child is Hannah Montana mad or Ben10 crazy you will find the back pack to suit them.
I know a child who is Ben10 mad so his parents bought him a back pack featuring Ben. This back pack is available from several sources. ToysRus have it for £9.99 Amazon have it from £12.99.
Looks~
This is a black and green backpack. The main compartment is black with a green trim this closes with a long zip. This has the word Ben10 written centre front .On the front of the bag there is a small zipped pocket this has Ben ten in an action shot .on it and is the green colour. On the sides of the bag there...

Review of Ben10 Back Pack
...Alien.
A true classic and still as fresh today as when it was made in 1979.
We follow the crew of the Nosromo, a deep space mining vessel as it has its return journey interupted by a unknown signal from an unexplored world.
They investigate the signal and one of the crew ends up with his face covered by an alien creature. this later falls off but the damage has all ready been done. Shortly afterwards an alien bursts from John Hurts stomache and then the alien slug grows into an enormous 9ft killing machine. What happens from this point on I will not divulge here, surely you've seen it?
The film began a huge 'alien' type spin offs and clone type films. But none ever to match the original. The only negative from a personal point of view was it was all too dark. The special effects are nothing special but the performances from...

Review of Alien (DVD)
Advantages: Beautiful places to visit Disadvantages: None
...also seldom happens anymore.
A gift shop and toilets are available at High Force, although the shop is closed during the low season.
Whilst visiting High Force, you may also wish to combine your visit with a trip to Low Force further downstream. This can be reached on foot as part of the Pennine Way walk. Many keen hikers and walkers enjoy walking from Cauldron Snout waterfall at Cow Green Reservoir, down to High Force, then on to Low Force.
If you prefer, you can reach Low Force by driving to nearby Bowlees and parking in the visitor centre car park, which is also a picnic area, and where the footpath begins for a stroll to Gibson's Cave and Summerhill Force. However, if you leave the car park, then cross the main road, a pathway takes you through a field down to Low Force. It is a 10-15 minute walk, which brings you to the series...
Advantages: None in evidence Disadvantages: Malign, calculating, vindictive
...of them reflect in some way the nature of the race that created them.
But there are is one human creation that has taken over from its creators in a subtle and insidious way and has assumed a life force of its own, a life force so alien that it has no understanding of our needs, no pity and no recognition or understanding of a logic outside its own.
You probably think by now that either I am referring to the computer and that the Spelling Police are coming to cart me off for retraining, to impress upon me that computer starts with C not T; or else that I'm becoming so paranoid that I'm a prime candidate for the Funny Farm.
Neither of these is the case. I am in fact referring, as those among you with the vision to see clearly will know, to the Traffic Light.
You will notice, perhaps, that I refer to it in the singular. This is...
Advantages: Excellent Special Effects, Simple Storyline Disadvantages: 3-D not available in all viewing options
...:
Gallaxhar (Rainn Wilson) is the evil alien who tries to take over Earth and creates an army out of clones of himself. Although this character is the only baddie in the movie, he doesn't play a huge part in the movie. In terms of looks, he is not too scary and more odd looking with 6 legs/tentacles upon which he stands. More as a supporting role to Susan's heroics.
Humans:
General W.R. Monger (Kiefer Sutherland) is leader of the military group responsible for capturing monsters and uses them to fight Gallaxhar. The portrayal of this character actually looks like a caricature with pronounced features that are bound to make you laugh.
President Hathaway (Stephen Colbert) is the US President and is actually portrayed as a parody. Everyone expects the President to be a forceful and commanding leader, but this character seems to be...
