I'm a huge make up fan, and I love anything eye catching and a bit different, which probably encouraged me to try Benefit products. They all look a little bit retro and kitsch, and look fab in your bedroom. I bought this online with my last recent order from Benefit. It's available from larger Boots store, Debenhams and other large department stores. I tend to buy online as I usually have a 10% discount code that I can use. If you sign up for the online newsletter from Benefit they send you regular discounts and special offers, as well as inspiration and ideas for new looks. If you buy 10 in store it will cost you £22.50. It's not cheap, far from it, but I find that sometimes paying a little...

Made For your Benefit.

Advantages: A dual purpose cosmetic.
Disadvantages: It is a bit pricey.

...As you may well have guessed I really enjoy trying out new cosmetics, I admit that the whole process can be a bit hit and miss, some products are good, others are mediocre and some are a bit lacking to say the least. But the whole thrill of trying something new excites me ! ( Oh I am easily pleased!) Last week I was 40 plus a few years extra and to mark the day my friend and I went off into Derby to have a browse around the Westfield Centre but before we left the city I said that we just had to go and pay our normal visit to Debenhams, one of my favourite stores. A Clean Sexy Sweep For Benefit!

Disappointed With Benefit Dallas

Advantages: Would last a very long time, with a bit of effort it can look quite natural
Disadvantages: Far too dark, doesn't blend well, expensive, feels a bit cakey

...As I have mentioned in an earlier review, I am very lucky that my family all know exactly what I like and so for my christmas I received quite a few new Benefit products. This Dallas powder was one of the products I received and have used a few times over the last month. I will mention that up until I received this I was using the Benefit Georgia powder. Benefit describe this Dallas powder as being "the perfect combination of bronzer and blush". They also claim that the powder will give your complexion a "natural-looking glow that will leave you looking younger, healthier and more vibrant". The Benefits of Concealing!

Advantages: Excellent coverage, lasts all day!
Disadvantages: May seem pricey, however I think it's worth the investment!

...By my own confession, I love make up. Ever since I was little and sat and watched my mum apply her make up before a big night out, I've been enthralled by the stuff. I love using make up to make myself feel good about my skin - especially because mine gives me so much trouble! It's pretty sensitive, a bit spotty, and I have these horrid bags under my eyes (yes, I should get more sleep, but hey). Anyway, for ages I had been trying to find a great concealer to cover up those nasty dark circles and I was failing, miserably. My skin is very pale, and a lot of cheaper concealers are slightly orange tinged, and it was very obvious that I was trying to cover the circles up! Also - they had absolutely NO staying power, a couple of hours later, I looked even more tired! That's where Benefit comes in! Benefit is a high end make up line...

A so sweet benefit to my bad lashes!

Advantages: Works well
Disadvantages: It's rather pricey!

...When it comes to mascara I really hate the stuff! From the process of buying it to using it I find the slimy stuff terrible on every single level. However being a bit of a party animal and enjoying my wild nights out of course I'd feel more than half naked (as I am usually anyhow lol) without mascara but try as I might I really struggle to find one that gives me decent effects and doesn't upset my sensitive eyes. I do love Benefit make up of course. I can't afford to be so extravagant as to buy it very often though to be perfectly honest with you. I've wanted to try this mascara in the black shade for ages but at about £14.50 for a regular sized tube(8.5g) and reading mixed reviews on the product when I had the opportunity to buy my favourite magazine of the moment (Glamour) which has a 4.0g tube worth £9.50 with it for the price...

Benefit from a Healthy Glow

...I bought this gorgeous little blusher on recommendation from a friend who always seems to have a gorgeous glow about her that I really envied. It cost me £22.50 in Boots, which is a hell of a lot more than I would normally pay for a blusher, but I really think it's worth the extra! It comes in a cute little green box with a lift off lid, which unfortunately doesn't fasten, so it's not very practical for keeping in a make-up bag or taking away with you. Apart from that the packaging is really well designed. It has a plastic cover over the blusher with the brush in, which you just lift off to get to the blusher underneath, and replace when you're done. The brush is a neat little size which fits nicely in the box, and the actual blusher itself is a good size, you do get a decent amount. Benefit describe this as an exquisite...
