The Flamingo Benidorm Hotel

Advantages: All Inclusive, Plenty Of Entertainment
Disadvantages: Lots Of Kids

...I recently stayed at the Flamingo Benidorm Hotel in Benidorm, Spain for 7 nights between the 17th and 24th October 2006. LOCATION The Hotel is located about 800 metres inland from Levante Beach, and about the same distance from the Old Town. It is set in one of the quieter parts of the resort on a slight incline. It is not to be confused with two other Hotels in Benidorm that have similar names; The Flamingo Oasis Benidorm and the Flamingo Aparthotel. The address of the hotel where I stayed is as below: Flamingo Benidorm C. Marbella, 2 03503 Benidorm Alicante Spain Tel. +34 96 586 53 53 Fax. +34 96 683 02 45 email: book.flamingobenidorm@marconfort.com THE EXTERIOR From the outside this Hotel does not look anything special. It is a tall building, as are almost all of the Hotels in Benidorm with 25...

Fantastic benidorm hotel flamingo oasis

Advantages: Either for a family holday or just a adult gettaway
Disadvantages: none in my opinion

...I have stayed at this hotel about three or four times, but many more times in benidorm however this is by far the best hotel in benidorm in my opinion.from arriving the staff are just so friendly and welcoming they really can not do enough for you, there is a very wide range of entertainment starting from nine in the morning through until the early hours. during the day there have water activities for both adults and children, also daytime disco kareoke on an evening the entertainment is aimed for both adults and children totally family friendly, the food at the hotel was far above what i was expecting the food varies from day to day, they serve food from breakfast to midnight. there is also a small bar and resteraunt out side by the pool were you can grab a burger normally i like to explore out of the hotel however for the full week i...

Fantastic Flamingo

Advantages: Something for Everyone
Disadvantages: Make sure there is no building work

...The Flamingo Oasis is the ideal hotel if you are looking for somewhere nice to stay in Benidorm. Having visited the hotel twice, once two months after it first opened and second a couple of weeks ago, i was not disappointed the second time. On the first occasion I visited this hotel, two weeks before we were due to fly I was contacted by the tour operator and avised that their was currently some building work being undertake on the hotel adgacent to the hotel and that it was minor building work and should not directly affect us. As you can imagine you would genuinely be worried about where you were going when being told this and I was wondering what to expect. Upon arriving at the hotel there is a nice driveway with a ratating door that takes you into the fantastic spacious reception. Greeted by palm trees and other exotic plants...

Flamingo Oasis

Advantages: All inclusive, Don't need to leave it for anything
Disadvantages: Lifts

...I have just recently got home from the Flamingo Oasis hotel in Benidorm, which is an all inclusive hotel which has been an absolute pleasure staying in. I arrived just before ten o clock on Saturday 30th June after a very long one hour bus journey from the airport. I immediately walked into an extremely large and spacious reception area where the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and they all speak fantastic English. Because it was so late we were given a temporary room card which we could use to get our free drinks for the night, these were replaced in the morning by cards which had a photo of me on it which was taken there and then using a digital camera connected to a pc. These are used to prove to the security guards and bar staff that you stay in the hotel and they are also rooms cards which is handy as I didn?t need...

Review of Hotel Flamingo Oasis, Benidorm

Flamingo Oasis a stressfree, calm and fun pack holiday.

Advantages: Close to shops, the sea front, great food and entertainment
Disadvantages: No tea making facilities in the guest rooms

...Stayed at the Flamingo Oasis Hotel between 5/8/08-20/8/08 When you pull up to the hotel in your coach the first thing your likely to see is the large flamingo that is painted on the side of the hotel, at night this flamingo lights up in pink colous. When you walk into the main reception area you can feel the coolness of the air con, the staff are kind and friendly. They book you into the hotel and you have your photo taken for the ID cards, there is a different colour for the adults to the children, this is so staff can be sure of age when serving alcohol, also so that they know your a guest at the hotel. Your ID cards also double up as a door key to get into your room. The guest bedrooms are of a large size and spacious, depending on how high up in the hotel your room is, will depend how much of a view you have. We stayed...

SHORT FLIGHT TO BETTER WEATHER

Advantages: An all inclusive hotel
Disadvantages: The garden swimming pool doesn't get much sun in winter.

...~~~~~I have updated this review by adding contact details~~~~~ We have been to the Flamingo Oasis Hotel in Benidorm, three times - January 2004, then again in December 2004 and most recently January 2006. You've probably realised by now that this will be a favourable review of this hotel. So... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ On arrival the the hotel looks like any other high rise hotel in Benidorm except that there is an illuminated Flamingo on the exterior of the building, above the entrance doors, this pink bird is almost the height of the hotel and when lit up at night is strikingly PINK! In through the impressive circular doorway and you enter a lobby of wonderful proportions and mostly of marble with some wood, also you get your first glimse of the oasis - this is really hard to describe and I would suggest you visit the hotel...

Not bad for the price

Advantages: Cheap, not bad location, food is nice
Disadvantages: kids everywhere - not good for just couples wanting to relax!

...I stayed at the Flamingo Benidorm in October 2007 for 7 nights between the 11th to 18th with my mother. We were on an all inclusive package booked on Jet2holidays.com which cost us £398 in total for the two of us including flights and accomodation but no transfers. The hotel and facilities: The hotel was neither too old or new - just basic and did it's job - however it did look quite nice upon entering with an array of seating and marble floors. The lobby area was always really busy as this hotel was constantly full and guests were coming and going all the time - the front desk were helpful at check in and explained where everything was. The hotel had a decent size pool in comparison to some of the other hotels that we could see around our's but, really, for how many guests were actually here, it could have done with being...

FOLLOW THE BIG PINK BIRD! - no not me!!

Advantages: Excellent rooms, service, food, entertainment
Disadvantages: Communication could have been better and too many machines requiring euros that kids bugged us for.

...We have just returned from the first holiday abroad in ten years and a fantastic fortnight it was too. We stayed in sunny Costa Blanca in Benidorm at The Flamingo Oasis hotel. It is an entirely all-inclusive hotel and a pleasure to stay in. We arrived after an hour's coach journey from Alicante airport to a beautifully spacious reception at around 7.30pm and we were seen pretty much straightaway by the friendly, English speaking staff. Check in was a simple and quick procedure, followed by our photos being taken and produced onto our all-inclusive cards, which you are meant to carry with you at all times for spot checks. Our daughter, who is only 2, really didn't want her photo taken and the staff were kind and patient, settling on a photo of her being held in my husband's arms. We were given our cards and told we were on the 18th...

The best hotel in the tourist trap of Benidorm

Advantages: Good service, great location, fine food.
Disadvantages: entertainment.

...Benidorm is full of third rate hotels catering mostly for the mass British tourist market. It is easy to see why it is so popular, with a great climate, blue flag beaches, good transport links, and close to a number of theme parks.Finding a good hotel however is another matter. Most of the Benidorm hotels are booked by the large travel companies and to be honest with a few exceptions remain cheap and cheerfull. The Don Pancho however is another matter. The WOW factor begins when you arrive as you walk thru the Mayan themed garden, with river and waterfall,to enter the hotel. The check in is one of the quickest in Spain and you are then taken along with your luggage to your room (unheard off in the rest of Benidorm hotels.) The rooms have air con, piped music, fridge, room safe,TV, telephone, and a vast amount of storage space. All the rooms...

December in Benidorm

Advantages: An All inclusive hotel with unusually large rooms and balconies.
Disadvantages: Sun loungers around the pool do not have mattresses.

...didn't get too noisy at night. This is a very tall building (If I remember right 25 storeys), I was on the 20th and the views over Benidorm are brilliant. Even being so high up we never had to wait very long for a lift either going up or down. All in all I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel. The website for this aparthotel is www.marconfort.com N.B. I have been told by the ciao team that this is the Benidorm Flamingo Aparthotel NOT the Benidorm Playa Apartments as some folks appear to think....
