...A lava lamp is, in principle, very simple. It consists of a lamp, which heats up a glass bulb filled with a waxy solid and a liquid. These cannot mix together and must have very similar densities. As the solid heats up, its density is lowered, so it rises. This cools it down and it then falls to the bottom of the lamp, creating a strangely soothing effect. In practice, making one yourself would involve messing about with expensive and perhaps flammable chemicals, so I wouldn't bother trying. It is much easier just to buy one yourself. A great budget DLP Projector

Advantages: Low price, vivid colour, ease of use and setup

...I bought this projector for my home cinema system and i have been very impressed with it. For the money, i don't think there is a better projector packed with features and superb ease of use. The picture quality is more than satisfactory for watching DVD's and playing PlayStation games, and i also use it for viewing photos from my PC. More die-hard home cinema enthusiasts may find the resolution not up to scratch, and it does suffer slightly from the screen door effect, but i find the picture excellent. Another obvious benefit is the massive lamp life of 4000 hours, which means it'll be a very long time before it needs changing. I have also found that this projector has one of the cheapest replacement lamp prices around, from just £140. ...Intro Recordable and re-writable CD's are one of the most popular forms of storage nowadays for computers, and this is no doubt down to the inevitable gradual-distinction of floppy disks, and the slump in prices for CDs. Nobody seems to use floppy disks anymore, they are too unreliable and can hardly fit any data too (1.44 MB usually) and when you compare this to the 700MB or so that CD's can hold, you can see why these are more popular. CD's can last over a hundred years too (according to the BenQ website) - if they are kept in the perfect conditions. Where I got them & price I decided to purchase these BenQ CD-R's as I felt that 100disks which hold 700MB, for only £10, is a really good price. This works out at about 10p per CD, which isn't bad at all! It sounds ridiculous that you can pay a couple of quid for a few floppy...
