The Nokolai Quarter was built by the DDR government as a sort of old town, a European Disneyland for the city's seven hundred and fiftieth anniversary, a popular area with 'new' mediaeval buildings that display various guilds and stone statues that surround the city's oldest church..We travel to nearby Potsdam, a city of castles and gardens and with an old town that features a lively market atmosphere. When the monarchy settled there so did their armies and with them came craftsmen, merchants and artists from many countries. The castle-like Nauener Gate leads to the Russian colony of Alexandrowka and then to Belvedere on the Pfingst-Berg. Returning to Berlin we embark on a trip at the Eastern Train Station on the Panorama S-Bahn whose carriages are equipped with large panoramic windows and marvellous views turn the journey intoa wonderful adventure. I've been to four Berlins in my life: when in my mother's womb I was in Berlin, then the capital of the Third Reich, from the GDR (German Democratic Republic), where we later lived, I visited Berlin once in the 1950s, a much smaller city then (only the Soviet sector), but still a capital, the capital of the GDR.
After fleeing to West Germany I visited West Berlin, not a capital any more...

Brilliant Berlin
Advantages: A wonderful city
Disadvantages: None
...It is one of my life's ambitions to visit all the capital cities of Europe so I was thrilled when my parents said we could go to Berlin. Berlin is the Capital City of Germany and is located in the north-eastern part of the country.
We stayed in Berlin for four nights. That may not sound like a long time but we managed to cram an awful lot of exploring into our time there! I will go through...

...an overview there on the Internet and can be just advised in the travel agency, too. This is taste and money thing and nobody I therefore would like pure talks there. There is choice definitely enough!
Youth hostels and co-living head offices are another opportunity to live in Berlin. There are agencies for the latter which convey co-living possibilities. Till now, of this concept I have already heard...
