...slightly though unfortunately that feature was useless to me as I had the big, fat and obese man behind me. All British Airways flights are non-smoking, though what always makes me laugh is how the captain says “May I remind you this is a non-smoking flight… Cabin Crew will be round shortly with duty free cigarettes.” Their food is very good for airline food and instead of attempting a grotty cooked meal on short-haul flights they give you a baguette with a nice filling. Whereas some other airlines attempt a cooked meal which consists of 3 or 4 microwaved chips and some fish that looks like its been sat on. Overall I think British Airways are excellent and they are probably the best European airline. Though I have only used Air France, BA and Swissair. Inspired by two fine Welsh actors, Richard Burton and Emlyn Williams he trained at Cardiff's College of Music and Drama. After a brief military career (National Service) he trained at RADA for three years. Best performances - Silence Of The Lambs, Shadowlands and Remains of The Day but saying that I've yet to see a poor performance from this personal favourite of mine!! The fact that he's Welsh had no bearing on anything!! 4: Gary Oldman - Yet another fine British actor and like Daniel Day Lewis, he goes above and beyond the call of duty to get into character. Getting there was easy – the British museum is located in Bloomsbury, in Great Russell Street to be precise, and the nearest tube station is Tottenham Court Road, which can be accessed from both the central and the northern line. ...British beer is best. How can I say this? Just consider the alternatives. Germany produces fine lager beers. As do some other European countries. American and Canada produce horrible ersatz lager beer style drinks. And most other countries who produce beer (Australia and New Zealand are examples) produce imitations of the American beer that is, in itself, only a poor imitation of German lager beer… But Britain? Britain produces Stouts. Ales. Bitters. Milds. Dark Ales. Pale Ales. India Pale Ales. Fruit Beers. Cider. Perry. Mead. (I am not sure I should include the latter three, but I am doing so!) The wide variety of beers produced within the British Isles is indicative of the long and honourable tradition of brewing that goes back many thousands of years. This is good to know. The time actually passed very quickly. As long as the Mack has her food and tv in front of her, she's fairly happy! There is a video shown at the beginning of the flight about how to stay healthy on board, with some leg exercises to do to prevent DVT. If you can do them with the hand luggage at your feet, then you fared better than me. The best thing to do is have a stretch when you're in the toilet as that's just about the only place you can go where you're in nobody's way! I think British Airways is a fine way to travel. Plus it's part of the Frequent Flyer group so you can grab some points towards another trip. Go for it!... Read review

...British shorthairs (BSH) are really just posh moggies!! They have a short dense coat wich is easily maintained. I grrom mine weekly just to keep them looking there best and they love it. One bit of advise on this though, start them young, as soon as you get your kitten home make this part of their routine and you will find they will get used to it very quickly and this saves a lot of problems when they get bigger and more strong willed. If you dont keep on top of grooming them they will often form mats during their biannual moult. They have excellent natures but they dont suffer fools. They wil soon let you know if they have had enough. They are often not lap cats but still like to sit beside you and grace you with their presence when they feel like it. ...The name "British Gas" always had that comfortable ,solid feel to it. To me it always invoked a sense of something reliable, but probably expensive. Quality service that wouldn't let you down. A company you could trust. Ok, probably a bit pricey, but you knew they'd come up trumps for you. In a way, something akin to the AA (the so called "4th Emergency Service). Best engineers, best service, best of British.. and all that. Hey, I can already hear you sniggering …. Now I admit I wasn't a customer of BG, as an adult, so my impressions of them were not first hand. These were just memories of living with the parents and what I envisaged when I heard the name.
