...I've worked at the hotel for three years nearly and I can say It's a really good hotel. It's situated in the middle of Broadway which is in the middle of the Cotswolds, it's a perfect place to stay if you're a walker and walking the Cotswolds or if you're just visiting all the lovely shops for a couple of days, The Broadway Hotel is the place to go. The building has looked the same since 1772 but has been there since 1575 and fits in perfectly with the village. In my opinion the hotel is not really made for kids as the village in itself doesn't have anything fun for children to do. There's a park and an ice cream stand, which is about the extent of the things for kids to do around here, however it's a perfect place for tourists and adults love it. Broadway Nightmare

...I visited the Broadway Hotel in October 2007, and was very disappointed with the standards of accomidation in which the Broadway Hotel had to offer. I have never stayed in such a dirty and poorly presented Hotel, in all the years in which I have visited Blackpool. The rooms were fair, but in 5 days of staying, the toilet was not cleaned, the bins were not emptied and at no time was the rooms or beds freshened. The owner had a dog which sat on all the furniture in the lounge, and obviously had fleas, and the management would eagerly accomidate elderly bus tours, before any other customers. They would not cater for children unless you specifically asked them, as a child menu was not offered, unless you specified it, as they felt it was acceptable to give an 18 month old baby a pork chop for dinner, bone included, and they seldom cleaned...

An interesting collection of overlooked show songs

Disadvantages: Too short! And not everything will be to everyone's taste.

..., and the people who wrote it (Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty) went on to write 'Ragtime', one of Broadway's best shows from the 1990s. Always interesting to hear 'star' composers' early work, and this song was what caused me to pick up a complete recording of 'Lucky Stiff' (though not the one this track comes from), which is a delight. And then we have the very silly 'Dear Mr. Gershwin' from 'Radio Gals', a song where a waitress recalls a mundane yet emotional encounter with George Gershwin. By turns silly and wistful, this is a very enjoyable song. After these three tracks, the disc takes another dip, with songs that I can respect but find it hard to really enjoy. 'Back and Forth' is a song about several characters' thoughts while in a rocking chair. It's from 'Bed and Sofa', apparently a stage version of a Russian silent film. Operatic...

The best artificial nails ever!

Advantages: easy to apply, less expensive than getting them done, natural looking, durable

...I have worn artificial nails off and on for over seven years. I have used many brands such as Nailene, Fing'rs, and Broadway Nails, the best brand I've tried. Broadway Nails are available in many discount department stores, mass markets, and in drugstores. They sell them here in the United States for about $5.00 a package. The ones I buy are the Fast French ones, which are French manicured, and the Real Life ones, that come in French manicures, natural (no color), and in brownish-red and light nudish-pink shades. I prefer the Real Life ones because they aren't too long for me and they are flattering. To put them on, I select the proper sized nails out of the box, and then I glue them on with the pink gel glue provided. I like the pink gel glue better than traditional clear nail glue because it doesn't show white spots...

Advantages: Easily readable, light, non-intellectual, aimed at the more mature woman

...Yes, I?ll admit it! I?ve been reading rather a lot of magazines lately. Mainly by virtue of the fact that I went to Scotland for a week in August and travelled by train. It?s a five hour journey and whilst I can quite easily get my head stuck into a good book for such a duration, I do find that the density of the text combined with the motion of the train, makes me feel sick after a while. So, magazines, with their colours and layouts make a good alternative. That?s my excuse anyway. One of the magazines that I picked up was ?best?. Whilst doing a little research for this review, I was surprised to discover that this publication has been around since 1987.
