The second best Greek restaurant in town
Advantages: Reasonable food and prices
Disadvantages: Not the best, slightly inpersonal
...the gods of the olympus descend with you to the tabletable tables to shuffle along to lick off their fingers there at what differently cannot be called than "godenmaalijtd". Ours restaurant exists already as from 1982."
CONCLUSION
I had been told that this wasn't the best Greek food in town, and I think the other place in Breda offers slightly higher standards of food and service. However, it was much better than I was led to believe here. The food was fairly tasty if nothing spectacular, the service was good and the ambience excellent. I would certainly consider coming here again. The décor is certainly worth seeing.

Harvester Restaurants
Advantages: Always one close by, quick turn out, children are welcome and catered for.
Disadvantages: Toilets can be quite disturbing, not all dishes taste as good they are described.
...palatial or pristine but it is cheap and cheerful, like an upmarket Mac Donald's. If you want a la carte then Knightsbridge have some exclusive eateries, if it's quick and local, then a Harvester will always be found close by. Conveyer belt food at its best, I don't feel it is as fresh and nutritious as Harvester claim but it's edible. The kids enjoy the change of scenery and above all us girlies get a night off from the kitchen.
*** Website****
Harvester have their own website on www.harvester.co.uk. There is a branch locator which uses your postcode and then shows you a map to the nearest restaurant. You can also apply for jobs via this site and send feedback or comments.
Enjoy ??....

London's best restaurant where you get to keep your shirt?
Advantages: Creative menu; delicious, reasonably priced food; friendly staff
Disadvantages: A little cramped, some pretentious choices
.... Not quite an amuse-bouche, not quite a pallet cleanser, creamy and delicious regardless. That said, it did take us a couple of minutes to drink it as we had a sneaking suspicion that we were going to have a restaurant faux pas and half expected the waiters to burst out laughing.
My main was line caught grey mullet with pickled cockle popcorn (really), which was served in a tasty orange sauce which I fail to remember the ingredients of. The two small fillets of mullet were delicious, tender and delicate and had been cooked just right (introduced to a pan from across the kitchen). The pickled cockle popcorn was tasty and not nearly as exotic as it sounds (the best comparison that I can think of are the deep fried clams served at Coney Island) and the sauce was delicately seasoned with flavours of harissa and tomato.
Artistic as my dish was...

Blackpools best restaurant by far!
Advantages: Fantastic food and brilliant service
Disadvantages: A bit pricey
...Anon Café & Bistro, Queens Square in Poulton le Fylde Blackpool is definitely a must for any discerning food lover! I can honestly say that it is the classiest restaurant within the Blackpool area, serving the most delicious food!
The restaurant itself is fairly small, accommodating around 7 or 8 tables. Each table has a candle which adds to the romantic atmosphere. The walls are decorated with numerous black and white pictures and smooth jazz or swing is played in the background. The tables have pristine white cloths with thick white napkins and contemporary cutlery. The whole setting of one of quality.
The menu changes on a weekly basis and includes dishes such as lightly grilled sea bass, escalope of veal and fillet steak to die for! The meal accompaniments are always inventive and boring veg is turned into some of the best I...

The Seafood Restaurant
Advantages: Great fish, sides
Disadvantages: None
...Rick Stein - The Seafood Restaurant
On a recent trip to Padstow, Cornwall we decided to go to Rick Steins famous fish restaurant, The Seafood Restaurant. Rick Stein is an English chef, restauranter and television presenter. He now specialises in fish cookery. He opened his first restaurant in Padstow in 1974 and now runs quite a few businesses in the town including a cake shop, cookery school and a fish and chip shop.
The Seafood Restaurant is his upper class restaurant in the town and is known for it's fabulous fish. It really is in the best location for fish. Padstow is a historic fishing port and so receives fresh fish every day. The restaurant is right at one end of town by the harbour and so is perfectly place to recieve all the best catches of the day.
It's quite hard to get a reservation in the restaurant. I think I booked...

Ze Restaurant!
Advantages: Good show, interesting
Disadvantages: Slightly worse than last year`s
...The Restaurant is a TV programme shown on BBC 2 on Thursday nights! The show is a reality TV show and is similar to something like the Apprentice but a food version.
This show is obviously based on the concept and success of many other TV shows like the Apprentice, food shows like Masterchef and all the other shows like Dragon`s Den, X Factor e.t.c
The idea of the show is for world famous chef Raymond Blanc to find a couple to help him run a restaurant and the couples are gradually knocked out week by week until they have the winning couple. It is in its third season and seems to have got a bit worse. I still enjoy it but felt it used to be more exciting and interesting. There used to be two shows with one of them being a challenge but they seem to have got rid of this which is a shame!
Raymond has help from his two assistants e...

Probably the best restaurant I have visited!
Advantages: Excellent food, presentation and service.
Disadvantages: ....still thinking!!
...Myself and my husband visited Patterson's Restaurant for a pre-theatre meal last night - I had such a wonderful time I wanted to review it as soon as possible!
The restaurant is located on Mill Street in London W1, it was only a couple of minutes walk from the London Palladium where the show was, so it was perfect. The closest tube is the Oxford Circus, which took approximately 5 minutes in heals!!
Mill Street, where the restaurant is located is a small side street and the restaurant would be easily missed if you did not know what you were looking for. The windows were fully covered with Hessian roman blinds which allowed customers to see out of the restaurant, but passers by not see in, which I thought was a nice idea.
We had an early booking which was at 5:30pm due to the start time of the show, hence we were the first...

Recommendation of some Dusseldorf Pubs
Advantages: Huge Selection
Disadvantages: Can be expensive
...There is a wide selecion of pubs in dusseldorf so I will only recommend a few of the best. To begin with I will recommend a few pubs in the altstadt. The first is McLaughlins Irish Pub. This is widely regarded as the premium Irish pub in Dusseldorf. This is partly because of the wide selsection of nationalities of the pubs customers. it is easy here to walk in and immediatley find someone to talk about, usually in english. The staff here are very friendly, and the owner Tom is alwaays ready to welcome visitors to dusseldorf and give them a few tips of whats on. Every Thursday here is a student night but everyone not just students are welcome, the beer is half price and there is always a great atmosphere. The second is Mai Tai which is a Thai cocktail bar located in the altstadt, which serves a large range of cocktails at reasonalbe...

My favourite Turkish restaurant on Green Lanes
Advantages: Great food, quick, friendly service, inexpensive
Disadvantages: Can be crowded and noisy on weekend nights
...restaurants, very different from the usual long-grain or Basmati rice found in supermarkets. A friend of mine once said it was the best rice she ever had. Turkish rice is smaller, rounder and has an off-white colour. It's savoury and possibly more nutritious than white rice. You can buy this rice in any grocery store on Green Lanes.
TAKE AWAY
Our preferred takeaway for two at £8 we bought on a weekly basis for a quick and hearty dinner consisted of a large stew (big box), small rice (small box), salad (mixed salad in a small box) and naan bread. All this for a couple and we ate well I have to say.
Other takaways we had was a large shish kebab (two skewers) with rice, salad and naan bread again at £8.
DRINKS
Ayran
We tend to order Ayran, which is Turkey's national yoghurt based drink. It's 50% yoghurt and 50% water ever so...

Claimed to be the oldest restaurant in Dalyan
Advantages: Gorgeous surroundings, loads of special dishes, the clay pot, waiters look the part
Disadvantages: Expensive wine and water, relatively small portion sizes, loads of manky cats
...Sini and instantly clocked my other half (she has got the best long, curly and fiery auburn hair ever, and it is something that Turkish blokes seem to really like as the male attention she got wherever we went was a bit too much for me (and I seldom become the green eyed monster), although I was offered 3 camels for her) and the banter started. It was time to sample Sini, so we booked a table (which the tout promised would be the best in the house) for eight that evening.
Why is this restaurant called Sini?
According to the tout, and the website;
?In a traditional Turkish family the people eat together on the floor. They sit at a sort of tablecloth and a large round serving tray with about three or four different kinds of dish. In Turkish this tray is called a "Sini". Around the restaurant you will see traditional...
