Rubys Inn, A jewel in the Canyons!!!

Advantages: Clean, courteous, good food, great location, easy access
Disadvantages: all the one night coach stop over people

...We recently had the pleasure of staying 5 nights at Rubys during a road trip that my husband and I starting from Las Vegas. Our trip started at LV, took in tthe Grand Canyon, then onto Lake Powell, then to Bryce Canyon and finally back to Las Vegas. We chose to spend 5 nights at Rubys because of the scenery, the things to do and just to explore somewhere that little bit different. Location - Well its absolutely stunning! Rubys inn is at the gateway of Bryce Canyon which in my opinion is breathtaking and a must for those of you visiting this area. We travelled a few hours from Lake Powell (probably 4 hours) but the time goes so fast because theres so much to look at and the driving is so easy, theres nothing on the roads!! Best Western Le Donjon Les Ramparts certainly not Best Value

Advantages: None
Disadvantages: Split into different buildings, expensive.

...?? you guessed it back in the first building we visited. Begrudgingly we made our way back across the city, dodging ?sword sellers? on the way. RoomsThe building itself looked ?ok? I can?t really describe it any other way, it was a square building with grey walls but on entering it was actually very well set out. Stone floors and stairs, interesting antiques and very clean so I was quite looking forward seeing the rooms. Well I was disappointed. The rooms pictured on the Best Western website looked nothing like ours. I can only imagine that they are executive rooms and not standard ones. While ?grumpy?s? room had been recently refurbished ours looked like something from the Crossroads Motel. (Old midlands soap opera). It was shabby! Advantages: good location with ample free parking
Disadvantages: a bit spartan and threadbare

...Kiel is not the most conducive place for a winter holiday so it has to be reasoned that anyone wishing to stay there then would either do so on business or in transit. Being the main centre for U Boat construction during WW2, Keil was then a favourite destination for RAF Bomber Command and was badly damaged; the reconstruction is about as imaginative as some similar city centres in the UK such as Plymouth - in other words a quick-fix urban monstrosity. The Best Western Hotel in Kiel rose up out of an existing office block and despite some attempts to disguise the fact, it shows. It really is in a very convenient location and the LOCATION is its greatest asset. It is a three star hotel in an area containing five star holiday attractions. Best Western Plaza Hotel, Frankfurt

Advantages: Central and reasonably priced
Disadvantages: far too much choice at breakfast.

...We stayed in The Best Western Frankfurt Plaza in July 2006 as part of our fabulous summer holiday in Austria and Germany. Not having booked any of the trip I was pleasantly surprised at this hotel in Frankfurt. I was even more pleased due to the rather grotty hostel we had just frequented in Innsbruck, Austria. Anything would have been better than that! Review coming soon. The hotel is a three star and has forty five rooms all easily accessible by a lift in the main reception. *~*~Location*~*~ The plaza is located on Esslinger Strasse which is about a ten minute walk from hauptbanhof - the main train station in Frankfurt. There is a tourist information kiosk in the station where you can get a map of the city and locate the hotel. I have added picture below of a map of the city centre with the hotels location on it...

Advantages: Close to tram stop and airport bus stop.
Disadvantages: Can get quite busy with people checking in & out.

...early and return later to check in. Its best point is its location. Right by the tram stop and so very close to Houston Station....

Best Western NIEUWVLIET-BAD ---------- GOOD

Advantages: Resort hotel, close to beach
Disadvantages: No sea view

...but there was no view because this is reclaimed land and as it is below sea level there is a large dyke for protection which blocked our view of the sea. We had twin beds which were a bit on the soft side for our taste but comfortable enough. There was a desk/dressing table and chairs and bedside cabinets which housed the clock FM/AM radio. There was also a large wardrobe. The TV had cable with multi-language channels including several British channels and CNN, MTV etc. The room was clean but was in need of decoration and new carpets. The room was also on the tight side - the balcony was almost as large - great in the summer, crap in the winter. The best western...it's all in the name

Advantages: great comfort, smart and sleek decor, extremely close to the eiffel tower!
Disadvantages: relatively small

...I spent my time in Paris at the Best Western Au Trocadero and I just wanted to take some time to recommend them to anyone else interested in staying in Paris. The hotel itself is rather small but the modern decor decieves you into thinking it is substantially more spacious. The tiled floors and mirrored walls of the lobby give a pristine, clean look about the place, giving the aesthetics of an expensive yet comfortable place to stay. The staff on reception never failed to be welcoming and plesant, making you feel at home in a foreign country. However, unfortunately I must admit the cleaning staff were't as welcoming, and at a push could even come across as rude.
