I can?t really describe it any other way, it was a square building with grey walls but on entering it was actually very well set out. Stone floors and stairs, interesting antiques and very clean so I was quite looking forward seeing the rooms. Well I was disappointed. The rooms pictured on the Best Western website looked nothing like ours. I can only imagine that they are executive rooms and not standard ones. While ?grumpy?s? room had been recently refurbished ours looked like something from the Crossroads Motel. (Old midlands soap opera). It was shabby! Advantages: The voice of an Angel ; Title track being one of the best folk rock songs
Disadvantages: Some weak tracks ; Not on the same par as Fairport Convention or Fotheringay

...short lived, she produced some very fine material and the three albums she did with them including 'Unhalfbricking' and of course 'Liege and Leif' were phenomenal. Before the release of Liege and Leif she left to form her own band 'Fotheringay'. After one album Sandy Denny decided to embark on a bold voyage of discovery as a solo artist. 'North star grassman and the ravens' was astonishingly superb as a debut performance as far as Sandy's voice input was concerned. Although she went on to produce a fine backlog of solo albums I feel as if she worked much better within the confound of The Fairport Convention, who had a number of fine talents to co-work with Sandy's. Being the main centre for U Boat construction during WW2, Keil was then a favourite destination for RAF Bomber Command and was badly damaged; the reconstruction is about as imaginative as some similar city centres in the UK such as Plymouth - in other words a quick-fix urban monstrosity. Disadvantages: Can get quite busy with people checking in & out.

Disadvantages: far too much choice at breakfast.

...We stayed in The Best Western Frankfurt Plaza in July 2006 as part of our fabulous summer holiday in Austria and Germany. Not having booked any of the trip I was pleasantly surprised at this hotel in Frankfurt. I was even more pleased due to the rather grotty hostel we had just frequented in Innsbruck, Austria. Anything would have been better than that! Review coming soon. The hotel is a three star and has forty five rooms all easily accessible by a lift in the main reception. *~*~Location*~*~ The plaza is located on Esslinger Strasse which is about a ten minute walk from hauptbanhof - the main train station in Frankfurt. There is a tourist information kiosk in the station where you can get a map of the city and locate the hotel. I have added picture below of a map of the city centre with the hotels location on it...

First North Western

Advantages: quick journeys - good prices
Disadvantages: vandalism, dirty stations

...On the First north western route I regularly travel on the trains are usually late - but only about 5 - 10 minutes. Their trains on their Cumbrian coast are mainly quite comfortable but could be cleaner. On some occasions when i have visited the toilet on-train the toilet would not flush. The stations on the Cumbrian line to Carlisle are falling into dis-repair and many are vandalized and desperately in need of a lick of paint. But the train service is reasonable and so are their fares - it beats the bus any day as the trains have short journey times. ---UPDATE 4/8/01--- The above was wrote a while ago and now most of the stations on the Cumbria line are being improved, the station in my town is currently being refurbished and the last time I travelled on one of their trains it was quite modern, and with lots of seats free...

Location Nieuwvliet-bad is a small resort on the North sea coast of Zeeland in the extreme South-west of the Netherlands. The hotel is situated in a quiet peaceful location only around 100m or so from the beach. The hotel has a total of 35 rooms: 12 Standard rooms, 14 standard rooms with balcony, 5 salon rooms, 3 suites and a bridal suite. Advantages: Easy access to all major routes in and out of London
Disadvantages: Directly under Heathrow Airport flight path

...I recently had to travel to London for a training course and chose to drive up from Christchurch to the outskirts of London from where I could catch the tube in to my training centre each day. I had previously stayed in Best Western hotels at various locations in Europe so I felt confident in choosing this hotel to stay in. I also ascertained that the nearest tube station (Osterley, Picadilly line) was only a short 10-15 minute walk away and the journey time into Holborn (the station nearest to my training centre) was only 50 minutes and cost £6 for a day return. I found the hotel very easily, having travelled up the M3 and then onto the M25 I took the exit for the M4 towards London leaving the M4 at junction 3 from where it was only 10 minutes along the A312/A4 to the hotel.
