...Around about March 2005 was when I had just started working for a major UK Gambling firm so thought that I would open up my first ever betting account; I had no clue who to use as I wasn't really much of a gambler so asked a friend and he recommended Bet365 to me.
I have had accounts with them ever since barring the occasional dispute.
The Bet365 live betting function is quite simply unrivalled within the industry. They cover some of the most obscure sports known and to top that off will over odds on them as they are happening. Stunning.
The Customer Service team at Bet365 aren't too bad when compared with some of the other major bookmakers. They aren't exactly knowledgable I wouldn't say when it comes to sports but they are pretty responsive and offer as good a service as can be expected.

I only started playing poker online with bet365 because they do free roll tournaments inwhich you can enter for free and win money.
So what do you do. Well I was sent a CD in the post advertiseing their poker so I htought I would install it and see what it was like.
The instalation was quick and easy, but you can also download the software from their website.
You start the game with the desktop icon and the game goes through checks for updates. Oh and to my surprise the game was already out of date and needed an upgrade, which took another 5 minutes or so.
Next you need log in. This is done using your bet365.com login name and password.
The layout of the gam,e window is green with pictures of cards. in the middle is the table which tabs at the top for the different types of poker, Texas...

Well, anyway, on to the point of this review. Bet365 was the first online bookies I ever tried. This was because, after a very short period of searching for the right online bookies for me, Bet365 seemed to have the best registration offer. Most online bookies will give you a free bet or something just for signing up with them. Bet365 offered me a very attractive 25 quid to bet as I pleased! How generous! Unfortunately I'm clearly an absolute idiot, since I didn't have a clue how to sort out this free bet, and just gave up on the idea.

...Sorry about two betting opinions off the trot, but Im just that excited today with the Grand National. All my bloody horses fell over together when a riderless horse crossed there path. Until then I had the winner on the nose, and two others which I had each way in the top five!!. I sorry I lost my money, but im glad this year that none of the horses where hurt.

Say that Man Utd are playing Aston Villa in a football match. The odds for Man Utd to win (when expressed as decimal odds) are 2.25 (or 5/4 as fractional). The odds for Aston Villa to win are 4 (or 3/1). Odds for the draw are 3 (or 2/1). ...Well I would not say I was an expert on poker, as I always lose loll, but I do know how to play the game so thought I would maybe help others understand the game.
Firstly there are the options that you have during a game theses are:
Call: A bet exactly equal to the highest bet made by the preceding player to stay in the play. I would only call a bet if I thought that I could make a hand.
Fold: A player discards his hand and gives up his chance of winning the pot in this play. I would normally fold when I only have a small high, with no chance of making anything out of it.
Raise: A bet equal to the highest bet made by any of the preceding players plus some extra amount. I would only ever raise if I have a good hand and thought that I was going to win. Or maybe you can bluff your way through it with a rubbish hand and hope...
