...I try to exercise regularly, and have always used exercise videos and DVD's, as I'm quite self-conscious and I don't fancy working out in front of other people in the gym. I have tried absolutely loads of different fitness videos, but one of my top three would have to be Ultimate Results by Beverley Callard. ~About the DVD~ This is the third out of four fitness videos Beverley has released. I already owned the first two, Real Results and Rapid Results when I bought this one, and I enjoyed them both. ...Introduction My Mum bought this when it first came out on VHS. Before everyone scrolls downs to mark this as off topic just hear me out. She did not buy it on DVD because when this was first released DVD had not been invented, plus she only bought it because she was a big Coronation Street fan and thought Beverley Callard looked great. Both my Mum and I wanted to lose weight so we started using this workout three times a week, we did not follow the diet just cut down our meal portions. It's not Beverley Hills, but it has a lot to offer

Advantages: Quaint, great antique shops, a Minster, Traditional Market, pretty town
Disadvantages: Maybe too quiet for some

...Living in Kingston-Upon-Hull means that I have a city centre, with quite a fair amount of shops to visit, easily and quickly. However Hubby and I enjoy a jaunt to Beverley on a fairly regular basis and try to make many of those visits on a Saturday ,when the market is in full swing. If you travel to Beverley by bus you will find the market just around the corner from the bus station. These days we usually take the train which is a brief 11 minute journey from Hull, as opposed to the bus which takes up to 45 minutes. The train station is at the opposite end of Beverley to the Market but it is still within easy reach. Parking isn't too bad for drivers either. Review of Beverley in General

Quick, Effective work out

Advantages: Good if time is restricted, good toning techniques
Disadvantages: Slightly lacking in Cardio work

...If like me you are busy, and fitting in long bouts exercise is difficult, then this is for you. I usually do this DVD early in the morning before work, and I don't want to get up earlier than I have to! The DVD consists of 3 sessions, each 20 minutes long including warm up and cool up. The sessions are varied enough, so you don't get bored too soon. The presenter is Beverley Callard, and she's not as annoying as I thought she would be, and is certainly better that some other's I have seen. She is actually a qualified instructor, so you can be assured that she's not just another celebrity jumping on the bandwagon using someone else's hard work. Some (i.e. me), may find some of the outfits amusing too. Some might say "retro". She does leap straight into the routines, so it may be best to either watch right through first...

I'm a BIG BIG woman my diet is actually quite good and I run a house chase after 2 kids and have my own little business but I'm still the size of a small barn, what was missing was some serious intensive excersise so I decided to splash out some hard earned cash and buy her DVD. Surprising Picture Quality - Panasonic DVD-S54

Advantages: Incredible picture quality when compared to my old non-upscaling player with a scart lead
Disadvantages: Sometimes disc drive can be really noisy when DVD's initially load.

Unable to afford a Blu-Ray player my sister and I bought the Panasonic DVD-S54 to match our parents brand new Panasonic TX-32LZD80 LCD television as their Christmas 2008 present. Admittedly it was a slightly selfish purchase as we both live at home and wanted to watch DVDs on the big new TV ourselves! We bought the player from the electrical retailer Comet for about £100 just before Christmas so there were no discounts applied.
