bic razor not sooooo bad

Advantages: affordable price.
Disadvantages: plastic.

...I am probebly one of only a few consumers that actually like bic sensative. I find that to me they are safe, as in I have not cut myself on one yet. I shave my legs,arms, fingers, the lot. I also find that at £1.09 for a pack of 10 very reasonable. The packaging may leave alot to be desired. A plastic bag, but to upgrade packaging I suppose would inevitably up the price. I do not use shaving accesories with the razor, just soap. Rashes? I never had a rash from using the sensitive razor. Price value for money? Yes without a doubt. Widely available? Yes , I see them in all the major supermarkets. Compared to other brands? I have been using bic sensitive for so long, although I am aware of using others previouslyI stayed with bic once I discovered it was the one for me. The Luddites of The Razor World

Advantages: Cheap and Gives a Good Shave
Disadvantages: You need to Know how to shave

.... This is why I always return to Bic Single blade razors. The quality of shave is consistent all along the beard, but this is a function of who is shaving as much as what razor you are using. There is also a good clearance between the bottom of the blade and the plastic bit on the razor so even after a few days heavy growth there is no problem with clogging up. The shave is also as good as any I have had with any other kind of razor apart from a cut-throat razor so why should I pay the extra for a product that does not give a superior result?????...

About as much use as a BIC Pen

Disadvantages: Not Long Lasting, Lethal, Flimsy

...you don't use any aftershave, there is nothing different in appearence to the non-sensitive Bics so unless the blade is made of a different material I think this is just a plain faced marketing lie. The razors are manufactured from the lowest quality plastic known to man, (just like the pens)and you can even break it if you squeeze or bite it hard enough (again like the pens). A small orange cover is fitted over the blade, which is colour co-ordinated with the handle and there for safety so you don't cut yourself, although you will once you remove it. This can also be quite difficult, just be careful as you are sliding it off that you dont accidently slip your finger across the blade. Upon removing the cover you think to yourself, "how can i use that on my face?" there is just the one blade and no protection wires to prevent you...

...Well you certainley get what you pay for when you buy the cheap and cheerful BIC razors -they are pretty lethal weapons! I cant say that they have given me a good close clean shave as thats far from the truth. I'm not heavey handed when I use a razor - but I always end up cutting myself with these razors and quite badly as well. They are an economy product which gives you economy results! They really are totally useless and go blunt within 2 shaves. Not on my buy again list!...
