The parcel was well protected and all I had to do was open one end of the box, wheel the bike out, adjust the handlebar orientation and basically it was good to go riding. I changed the saddle for a Bontrager Race X Lite saddle as an upgrade - saddle selection is a very personal choice for comfort on the long rides. GT Aggressor XC2. What a Bike for the Money

Advantages: Strong Frame and Wheels, Tyres do not let go
Disadvantages: None really!!

...Bought this bike with my work cycle to work scheme. A great buy from Halfords. Excellent speck for the price and a very strong bike. I'm 18st 10 (253 ibs) and in my opinion this bike can handle this weight easily. Great colour Black with like a Pearlesent White, Very good speck components, Shimano Deore derauillers and Sram Truvatic Crank. Hydrolic Brakes and Discs. These will stop you instantly and do tare a little time to get used to or a flight over the bars could come along. These sqeak when covered in Muck and Water for the first few occasions, but when used this disapates. Wheels are Alex DP17 rims, Strong, Maxxis Ingnitor Tyres Grip like hell. Suntour XCR forks are ok for Cross Country riding, Not a great Jump fork, but hey Im no Jumper! (I think that if yoiu are lighter than me you could have some safe landings with these...

...Last weekend, me and my friends decided to go for a tour of Regent Canal by bicycle, and therefore we looked for a bike hire service in London. Between all the websites we found this one, an appealing website with photographs of fantastic dutch classical bikes for hire in London. The website shows photographs of really nice and stylish bikes which are for rent at a decent price, 25 pounds per day per bike if you hire them for 1-3 days. Even though there were cheaper options we decided to treat ourselves for one day and choose one of these appealing bicycles, just to make it a really unique experience for one day! If only we knew! The delivery process is quite straightforward, you choose a bicycle and they deliver it to you wherever you are in London with a little van. A decent in-front-of-the-telly magnetic exercise bike

Advantages: Low cost magnetic resistance bike, pretty sturdy for the price
Disadvantages: Seating position not necessarily the most comfortably, not great for shorter people!

...My previous exercise bike of many years (mostly used as a clothes horse, but more recently brought into service in a determined attempt to get fitter and thinner) recently broke. Specifically, its resistance strap wore through and the ride became more like freewheeling down a hill than anything more energetic. On 16 May 2007, NME published an article naming Bombay Bicycle Club "the hottest band to come from North London for quite some time". And so very right they are. Specialized Roubaix- Rolls royce for bikes

Advantages: Very good looking bike with all the top components
Disadvantages: very high price. Handlebars arent very comfortable

...As specialized bikes go this needs little introduction. At first look it is a fantastically attractive bike with its red, black and white paint work. The version i own is the roubaix s-works SL which is definetly the best bike i have bought although i did have to pay £3000 for it. It comes with a very strong and sturdy Carbon frame and forks and weigh's about 17lb. The groupset is shimano dura-ace 10 speed with a specialized chainset. Ive done about 300 miles on mine and i still absolutly love it. I havent raced on it yet but am definetly going to road race it this year. I have changed the saddle for a Selle Italia saddle because the one that is supplied seems very stiff and when you cycle on long journeys i have found it to be very uncomfortable. My first Brompton Bike

Advantages: Foldable, practical
Disadvantages: Expensive

...I bought Brompton bike three years ago and since then I've been using it regularly to commute to work. Part of my journey is by train and by having a foldable bike it saves me a lot of money on the tube ticket and also means I don't have to go on the "meat wagon" aka the tube. It keeps me fit and gives me the opportunity to explore new areas of London which I probably wouldn't venture in without this practical device. The bike cost £470 but considering that is well built, reliable and easy to maintain I think it is definitely worth the money. If you use it regularly it can also save you subscribing to gym membership as it will keep you fit. I am not sure of the exact weight but can reassure you it is easily carried.
