Basically, a group of everyday people are put into a house which is completely covered by televsion cameras and microphones. The show then runs for a number of weeks (10+).
The contestants participate in daily tasks which they must complete in order to gain a reward. They also get a main task which covers a few days, which depending on their performance, either earns them a food budget to buy what they like from the shopping list or earns them rice and other basic food.

Advantages: Bryson's dry, stinging wit Disadvantages: A little repetitive...I say, a little repetitive
...I'm a fan of Bill Bryson. I like his dry, acerbic wit, and the way he bombards the reader with lots of dry facts yet manages to still keep it entertaining.
The latest book of his I read (although not the latest written), was Notes from a Big Country.
As I said, delivering trivial facts and figures in an amusing fashion is Bryson's forte and when those facts are about the land of his birth (USA), and are compared then related to his once adopted homeland (UK), I can visualize him virtually drooling at the prospect.
And so, following his return to live in New England after 20-odd years domiciled in Olde England, when the editor of the British newspaper, The Mail on Sunday, asked him to write a weekly magazine column documenting his return home, you would imagine he'd leap at the chance.

Advantages: Incredible World builder possibilities Disadvantages: Oversimplified and tedious gameplay
...I rented this game on a recommendation from this sight and WOW!. My first Impressions were that this was a child's game, little more than a Spyro or Crash Bandicoot clone.

But after a good days play through I'm happy to say I was wrong. Yeah the characters could be construed as overly Childish, but people who slate the game for this reason alone (and they are out there!) you are missing the bigger picture.

Imagine if you will looking out of your window into you garden. Now imagine drawing your finger anywhere in that garden and being able to move the garden furniture, trim the grass and bushes, even cut and lay decking, re-size the shed and move it to a more suitable location...literally being able to do anything in your garden with just your finger!...

BRIEF INTRODUCTION
The Big Sleep is a novel first published in 1939, followed by a couple of film versions - one in 1945 and the second in 1978. This is actually the first Chandler novel to feature Philip Marlowe, the famous detective. This particular novel is notoriously cokmplex and difficult to follow though has been named as Chandler's best works. Not solely this, it was also awarded the TIME magazine award for Best 100 novels 1923-2005.
The novel begins in mid-October. Philip Marlowe is hired by the old, ailing General Sternwood to help him "take care of" Arthur Gwynn Geiger. Geiger is a homosexual (has been considered to be bisexual) pornographer who has been blackmailing the General with potentially scandalous pictures of the General's daughter, Carmen Sternwood. Marlowe agrees to help.

...Fisher Prices’ Big action garage is one of the best children’s garages I have seen on the market to date. Although a little pricey for a child’s toy at £54.97 it really is money well spent.
The garage comes in a box with home assembly required, this was a little daunting as the instructions came in an A4 booklet! However it took roughly half an hour to assemble and was relatively easy once I got going, everything you require is included with the exception of a Phillips screwdriver.
The garage itself comprises of a ground floor level with barriers and petrol pumps, the second floor level leads onto the long spiral ramp as does the top floor level. There are two ramps, a speed ramp, with a jump at the end, which cars ‘fly’ off, ( they really do....usually straight at the cat!) this ramp also doubles as...

...Well two weeks into starting school my middle son was excited as he got to bring his first reading book home but the following day he was more excited as he got another book bag which had a few reading books in for him to keep! Naturally when we got through the door we had to sit and read them together.
The cover of this book s red and has a picture of a big gorilla on the left hand side wearing a suit and the title on the right hand side in nice big bright multicoloured letters.
