Vaccum Storage Bags

Advantages: Space Saving Ideas for Home and Abroad
Disadvantages: None I can think of

...I love this idea, whoever thought this up is a genius. A lot of families have storage problems my main pain in the backside is lack of room for excess bedding that i keep spare for guests and what not, So this is magnificent, how the air can be sucked out of the bag with any pipe vacuum cleaner and reduce the size of package to less than a quarter of the size. Brilliant for duvets and pillows i might add and to top it all off it keeps all those bugs away and when you do unpack them they smell as good as the day you washed them and put the items in there. Excellent I would rate these to anybody you can even use them for going abroad and storing your much loved items and reducing space which we all know must happen when traveling on a plane think of the goodies you can bring back !! ...I have unfortunately inherited a few nasty genes from my mother, the majority of which I won’t share on this site, luckily for anyone reading this opinion. The inheritance I will be writing about today is huge, dark bags below my eyes. I may ‘only’ be 36, but I have had baggy, dark eye sacks since I was in my early 20s. I have tried a number of creams supposed to reduce either or both conditions, but nothing has ever worked. Then I read an opinion by Miss-D on Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat and I hoped my prayers had been answered. The product does not claim to reduce eye bags or dark colours, but instead hides the darkness by covering it up with a light reflecting liquid. Apparently this wonder product, recommended by many celebrities and beauty magazines, is only available at Harrods and Debenhams...

...I received a DVD in a jiffy bag recently opened the bag carefully and put the bag ready to reuse with about 20 other old jiffy bags I have ready for recycling. Actually I am not sure that all of them are genuine jiffy bags but they are the same sort of thing. Jiffy bags made by Jiffy have been available for several years now I think they go back to the 1950?s. Jiffy bags are handy padded envelope bags that can be bought in a variety of sizes some as small as to 164 x 285mm, then several sizes upwards to 247 x 387mm, probably even larger ones available. The original bag is a golden brown heavy duty paper. The padded filling can be as simple as shredded paper. My big black bag

Advantages: Might find some money!
Disadvantages: It's like a black hole - you never know what you may find.

...I love my handbags but for everyday use I tend to stick to my black leather bag I found in the sales at House of Fraser. A half price bargain! Lets stick my hand in and see what I can pull out! A tube of Hemp Hand Protector from the Body shop. This is brilliant stuff, pretty expensive but works a treat on dry hands. There's not much left now, so i've rolled the tube down to get the last bits out! I keep it in my hand bag because my hands are always dry and the cold weather isn't helping either. Passbook. I've got my Halifax passbook and my Nationwide. There's about 3pounds in my halifax one but I use my Nationwide ISA to save money each month. Hopefully by next year I'll have a nice amount to put down for a deposit on a car. Not sure why I carry them around with me but i'm always leaving my purse at home so they sometimes come in...

I've Got My Big Bag Today - Uh-Oh

Advantages: it's full of stuff
Disadvantages: it's all rubbish!

...The bag I'm using at the moment is a cavernous beach bag type affair which gives me tons of room to put in loads of useful (or useless) crap! Now, what lives in a bag like this??? Why don't we take a closer look . . . Passport - I take it everywhere in case I get id'd if I decide to go out on impulse. I don;t think i could use it to go abroad anymore cos its been dyed by various bags. Mirror compact - in the shape of a handbag. It's so cute. Make-up - eyeshadow, mascara, eyeliner, concealer and lipstick. Just for touch-ups. Gloves - I get cold hands! A disposable camera -used. One of those wow ones. Its been waiting to get developed since last week. Just need to find a Klick to put it into. Packet of Refreshers - saw them in a shop at lunchtime today, had to buy them!!! they'll soon be gone though. :-( Sunbed...

...The grobag is a fantastic invention which stops the constant getting up and down in the night to put the blankets back over your baby when they manage to kick them off in the night. Grobags are baby sleeping bags which fasten at the shoulders and are worn almost like a dress/dungarees. They come in different thickness- Tog rating- like a quilt. So you are able to decide which tog rating is needed, for example, in the summer when it's warm you will only need a 1tog or if it's colder you may need a 3tog. They come in different patterns and designs so you may chose whether you want a girlie pink one or a boy blue one etc. The main purpose of these grobags is to stop the baby from getting cold during the night as they may do with a blanket.
