You can test your brain power in five different categories: thinking, memorization, computation, analysis, and identification. Some of the games included are comparing stacks of coins to find the higher value and quickly counting a huge stack of books. Big Brain Academy For All You Clever People!!

Advantages: Great gameplay and fun activities
Disadvantages: Can get a bit repetitive

Big Brain, Big Fun

Advantages: A great collection of addictive mini games

...This was the first game I played on the DS. My girlfriend's parents had purchased a DS and this game and let us have a go on it. I was immediately impressed with the game and even after a short amount of use, I could feel I have been using my brain, that sort of non specific tingling feeling in your head like lots of blood is flowing round your braing cogs. My first attempts on some of very varied minigames were not that great but after practicing and spending more time with it I was definitely improving and my rating and brain weight started to increase as I did better. My girl friend and I were so impressed with it we decided to buy our own DS and this game. DS BIG BRAIN ACADEMY!!!!!!!!!

Advantages: some good categories and will test your brain
Disadvantages: becomes a little boring but still fun game to own

...Come and test your brain out on Big Brain Academy! This game will test your brain and give you a grade! Train your brain in five different categories at the big brain academy!. These are the 5 categories in the game: Analysis Computing Think Memorize Identify You can also play versus if another friend has a ds you can play head to head against each other to see which one is smarter. You can then go ont the Test mode. It will pick one random activity from each group and will then add up your score and give you an overall grade. ...Nintendo wii - Big brain academy : This game is great value for money and is one of the cheapest nintendo wii games i have seen. Priced anything between £15 and £20 i'd say it is fantastic value for money. I purchased this about 4 months ago now and i'm still hooked. I wouldn't say i play it every day but i do try to have a go at least once a week. Not only is this game great fun but you do learn whilst playing it. I love to have a go as it gives my brain a rest from day to day motherly chores and gives me a real mental workout! Big Brain Shelf life??

Advantages: MiniGames that anyone can play, Good 2+ mode which saves the same, Fun presentation
Disadvantages: Limited excitement, needs more to entertain, annoying sequences in-between games with headteacher!

...One of the first features that you are made aware of with this game is the fact that the game is Mii data compatible. This is a lovely way to again use/play with the mii?s that were creating them for games such as WiiSports and WiiPlay. This allows the game to store/save all your data in a student record books, which has your Mii face on it. I am not a DS owner whoever I had played the game on a friends and enjoyed it and hence why I went out and bought it for the Wii. The game is approx £20, which is currently at the cheaper end of the gaming market and to a certain extent it needs to be. It is very similar in the terms of layout to the DS version, but I was expecting a lot lot more from the Wii version. I wouldn?t really call this a video game, more of a mental/brain task game.
