Good handheld 3D game console without the need of 3D glasses

Advantages: 3D camera and game fun, augmented reality game fun, parental control
Disadvantages: expensive, may need extra protection for the top screen

...Introduction:The right hand side hinge of my DS lite has developed a crack around September 2011 and duck tape could not hold it in place for too long. A couple of months later, the hinge gave in and a piece of plastic fell off. Then just before Christmas, the top screen has developed flickering. Adjusting the potentiometer screws via the two tiny holes near the volume slider did not help. To replace the casing and the top screen will cost around £50, with a bit more you can buy a second hand console which may develop the same problem in the future. It is time for an upgrade.The 3DS has been out for nearly a year [no hinge issue yet] and the price has dropped quite a bit.
