...It's been a year since my eldest daughter got this bike, a year in which she has gone from being a rather wobbly and unskilled novice to, some would say, slightly over-confident. She's now an extremely competent bike rider who rides this bike pretty well every week - as you can see from the picture it's rather muddy and well used, though still in very good condtion. This was my daughter's second bike, she learnt on a smaller wheeled bike with stabilisers. As the name would suggest, this particular model is a 20" wheeled bike. It's important to note that it has no gears and is, in all respects, a basic bike. We bought it from our local Halfords, where it is currently available for £79.99, which is about what we paid at time of purchase too. ...Davina Magnetic Foldable Exercise Bike I seem to go through phases of either doing a whole load of exercise at home or none at all. For the last year however I have been doing a lot of running and I was getting up to do a 6am run when is was still light. However as the mornings are now really dark I have not been going out running as much as I was before due to time restraints. Plus I have also been suffering from a bad spell of sciatica which I am due to see the physio about as I am unsure whether to exercise it or not seeing as there is so much conflicting information. Topshop Bicycle Sweatshirt

Advantages: Cute design, looks good, comfy, versatile
Disadvantages: Quite expensive but it's unique and good quality so I don't mind.

...on a more colourful jumper it would look slightly childish. The slogan is really cute, it says "I like to ride my bicycle" with a picture of two bikes and pink love hearts. The pictures and writing look like they have been drawn on as they're in a handwriting style rather than a font, and the bikes look like they have been sketched. The love hearts as I said are pink and it looks like someone has coloured them in with a pink highlighter. I really like the whole drawn-on effect as it looks so unique and cute. This is quite a longline jumper and it comes just above mid-thigh on me, but as it's quite a lightweight jumper it doesn't bulk up under jeans/shorts when tucked in. In fact, he's not into anything that moves too fast or does things that he doesn't expect to happen, pretty much like any 2 and a half year old I expect. So as you can imagine, I wasn't overly thrilled when I found out last year that Harry's great aunt had bought him a motorised motor bike. Please bear in mind last Christmas he was only 21 months old and consequently pretty small and unconfident, but nonetheless, the Halfords Mini Racer Bike was on its way to us courtesy of my parents. Review of Bicycles

Great bike and fully loaded!

Advantages: Great performance and groupset for its price.
Disadvantages: Squeaky noise from headset under loading and hillclimbing.

...Long time since I reviewed but here goes! I have been riding a hybrid for a year or so but needed a bike more suited to road work. Reason being I am riding a lot of long distance events this year (London to Brighton, London to Southend, London to Paris). So I have been test riding many model of road bike over the summer. The Cannondale Synapse 105 comes out miles above the rest and for a few good reasons. Firstly its has a nice relaxed riding position while maintaining the stiffness needed for power transfer. Compared to the equivalent Giant or Trek, the Synapse makes for a much more comfortable posture due to its reversible handlebar stem to give either an upright or racing style position. ...My littlest boy has a Bob the Builder bike but it seemed a bit big for him still, so for his birthday I bought him this Toy Story bike from B&M Bargains for £29.99. It's a really nice looking bike. It's nice and colourful, bright and covered in Buzz, Woody and it's basically a very boyish bike. It has a metal frame, the centre piece of the bike is also a solid plate of metal with a Toy Story picture emblazoned across it. The front of the bike has a plastic panel that fits on the handle bars, this also has a picture of Buzz, Woody and the gang. The wheels of the bike are solid, not hard plastic but like a foamy rubber, I find this quite handy with littley bikes as they can't puncture. ...I have a Claude Butler bicycle that I like to make sure is safe from theives when I leave it anywhere. I needed a new bicycle cable and lock so went to shop at Halfords. I choose a 180cm long cable with lock attached. This bike lock and cable has a security rating of 4 which classes of high in the range 1-3 basic then 4=7 high and 8-10 maximum. I decided that it should give me sufficient protection for my bicycle. The cable is a good length sufficient for me to wrap it around a fixed post and both wheels. I have quick release nuts on my wheels and it?s so easy for someone to nick just a wheel so I like to clamp my wheels securely.
