...This is a film directed by Sofia Coppola (daughter of Francis Ford). It is a story of a chance encounter between 2 people in a Tokyo hotel - Bob Harris (Bill Murray) and Charlotte (Scarlett Johansson). Charlotte is in Tokyo accompanying her photographer husband while he is there shooting as she has recently graduated from university and has some time on her hands. Bob is staying in the hotel on business. He is an aging movie star who is starring in a whiskey commercial campaign but also getting away from his day to day life at home. Bob is having something of a midlife crisis and sees Charlotte as an escape from it. This is a curious and intriguing tale of love and relationships adepicting the two growing closer together. Not the old bill

Advantages: Brilliant drama!
Disadvantages: none that I can think of.

...I have watched the Bill on and off since it started. They had improved it by changing from the original format of two ½ hourly episodes a week to two hourly ones now. Then last year they decided to give the whole cast a revamp and get rid of some of the cast that had been there since day one. Some of the cast members that they got rid of I don't miss but they also decided to kill off John Bolton, he was one of my favourite characters, and quite sexy with it. Why am I telling you all about this! Well its the special episodes that are currently being shown that I am actually writing this about but I think you need to know why they are so popular with a lot of people. Feeling a little Pete Murray

...Now this whole one man and his guitar thing is all good. I like it. The simplicity of it reaches out to me. Its not over complicated like so many things are in music now. ...As a huge fan of Bill Bailey, I had high expectations for 'Tinselworm' after the hilarious 'Part Troll', but Bill's newest dvd left me feeling very disappointed indeed. Bill's career has been going from strength to strength of late, his hard-won and much deserved popularity culminating in this, his latest dvd, in which he takes his latest tour to Wembley for his first arena performance. Inevitably, the intimate feel is lost, and combined with the lukewarm nature of his new material the whole show feels like Bill Bailey dumbed down for the masses. ...Bassetts Murray Mints are a lovely yet strange sweet. Bassetts have combined a minty buttery taste that strangely works very well. Now if you have never heard of these sweets - you should ask an elderly person as these sweets were very popular back in the 40's and 50's. They were first introduced into the market in 1944 and believe it or not they were the very first product to have a television ad jingle! Now here in Ireland these sweets are very popular and are always on the sweet stands in any shop. However I believe they are a rarity in the UK. I recommend if you see them in a shop - grab them. They are available in a 227g bag but they are also available in a roll. I would reccommend buying the roll because for some strange reason once you open the bag the outside of these sweets go soft.
