Definitely the best era of Billy Swan

Advantages: Fantastic tracks
Disadvantages: Does not include "I Can Help"

...In 1976 I was listening to Billy Swan singing "I Just Want to Taste Your Wine" and enjoying a long, hot summer! At the time I bought the original LP (yes, vinyl!) - the one entitled "Billy Swan" with the grey border - and loved every track on it, which was pretty amazing because for me the odds of that are astronomical!! So when I saw this combination CD advertised I decided to indulge my nostalgia and buy it - and no, I was NOT disappointed with the other 10 tracks from the original LP entitled "Four". All together this CD provides a history of what I think is the best period of Billy Swan's career and it certainly takes you back to those lazy days of summer (when it really was hot all the time!)....

Advantages: Stupidly funny!

...Billy Madison is another comedy film starring the as yet unknown at the time Adam Sandler. It was made in 1995 when Sandler was still on Saturday Night Live. Advantages: Mostly new material
Disadvantages: Not the standard you would expect

...conclusion , if you're a true Billy fan then by all means get this just for your collection , but don't expect too much . If you have seen some of his other work and are anticipating the same standard here you are setting yourself up for a fall . My best advice ? wait till it has been out for a while and buy it cheap . It certainly isn't worth the release price of £13.99 which my daughter paid . If you are not yet a Billy convert , then give this a miss and buy one of his many early releases , some of which are mentioned at the beginning of this review , and I guarantee you a truly hilarious hour and a half of classic comedy from the man who must be the world's most famous and best loved alternative philosopher/comedian . Growing Pains - Billie Piper (paperback)

Advantages: Full of emotion and feeling, plenty of detail...
Disadvantages: Hard to put down, can draw tears to the eyes

...to escape it all, and that is just what she found! She talks about how she was enrolled in dance classes and drama groups. The way she talks about them with such passion, it's spectacular! Other kids often attend these things just for something to do, but it is clear Billie benefited from them, appreciated them, lusted them! We see a different side to Miss Piper in chapter five, the chapter when she starts comprehensive school! After words of bus-bullies and fears of the toilets, we are introduced to Billie's best friend, Sally. Billie describes her life at this point, coming across as a 'typical teen', following the boys, doodling on jotters, alcohol...the usual stuff! Though, she keeps her 'character' when she talks about the school Drama department! I really enjoyed this chapter, is seems like the most ordinary one in the entire book...
