Better sat nav systems available for price!
Review of Binatone Carrera X430 by
yatzue
Advantages: Good screen, clear voice skins, looks nice
Disadvantages: Innacurate instructions on complex roads, poor speed cam info, lack of updates
...Recently bought the Binatone Carrera X430 W for general everyday driving around the UK. As I travel quite a lot, I needed a sat nav that could give me clear and precise instructions, accurate road positioning, and information on points of interest and speed cameras.
I found the X430 didn't really live up to my expectations on these points. The instructions were clear, however were not very accurate, taking me off the road and nearly into the path of oncoming traffic on a one way road at one point! Following this incident I was forced to take some small backroads to try and re-join the main road - with the X430 shouting (not particularly helpful) instructions at me all the way. When I finally did get back on the main road, my X430 was considerably more silent (obviously disgruntled that I hadn't followed its orders into oncoming traffic...

Say 'hello' to a cheap and cheerful phone!
Review of Binatone Speakerphone 100 by
flo90
Advantages: A really good quility phone for its pirce
Disadvantages: It's not perfect
...Binatone is a world renowned and very trustworthy company.
The Binatone Speakerphone 100 is a cheap phone with lots of features. It can store up to 13 numbers, recall has a secracy feature and you can pause and redail. It also has a speajerphone option which has a red lcd light for when it is on. The speakerphone is very clear and can be heard over ten paces away.
Now I won't lie, it's not the BEST phone out there, but it is pretty good for it's price. it doesn't look super classy or anythingbut is brilliant for a first home, office, or just as a cheap phone with lots of features. It can either hang neatly on the wall, or lie on a surface making it compatable with everyones home!
Although it is corded the cord is reasonably long, but if it's not long enough, you can always put it on speakerphone.
Sadly it is not availible anymore...

Binatone E3300 Triple Phones
Review of Binatone E3300 by
Cassybobo
Advantages: Stylish practical easy to use
Disadvantages: not backlit on the display and only number displays when recieving a call
...The Binatone E3300 is a good easy to use phone, it is stylish and a nice size, fits in my hand comfortably, Included is clear instructions on how to set the phones up and how to use all the functions of these phones. Well laid out button functions clearly numbered. No fancy or complicated extra functions, sturdy and well designed. The sound is crystal clear, with a good range away from the base. There are 6 different ring tones so you can change to suit your own preference. Very useful to have a phone in 3 seperate rooms. Saves having to run and grab the phone. when you are in a seperate place in your home. Binatone have made these a sturdy practical phone but The number display would benefit from being backlit, and having name as well as number display, (unless you have a good memory). They make a good buy if you are looking...

Binatone e920
Review of Binatone E920 by
slaphappy1
Advantages: functionality
Disadvantages: ring tones
...I recently bought the quad set of the Binatone e920s and I'm so happy with my purchase.
My old cordless phones needed throwing away as the caller display on the handsets no longer worked and they were very basic with no extra functions. I was seeking functionality over aesthetics. Although these aren't ugly phones they aren't as sleek looking as some of the other more expensive phones.
The two most important functions I was looking for when buying replacement cordless phones was caller ID and an answer phone facility, both of which my Binatone e920s have. The answer phone can record for 10 minutes and is easy to set up on the base unit. The great thing is it is accessible remotely, so I can phone home and find out if I have any messages waiting for me.
In addition to this I wanted hands free capability which is essential for those...

Binatone the phone to beat.....
Review of Binatone Speaker 200 by
PeterFarrell
Advantages: Cheap at £14.99, comfortable to use, stylish and practical, LCD display and speakerphone options.
Disadvantages: Slightly bulky and big, Could sometimes do with a little more volume for the speakerphone.
...I've just had a new phone line installed and decided that the phone I had was a bit shabby and old, also when my modem connects to the internet it squeaked, which became very annoying. So I looked for a new one.
I had a look in the Argos catalogue and was thinking about going for the cheap and basic model, a binatone for about £5. Then I looked over the page, expecting to see a range of expensive phones, but to my suprise there were speakerphones for under £15. A speakerphone allows you to talk handsfree through a speaker! I looked at the binatone model for £14.99 the speakerphone 200. It is a silver phone, which looks quite stylish.
The phone has three direct dial memories and ten more indirect memory keys. The phone also has a display screen for the number you are dialing and the length of the call, which can be very handy. You can...

Great all round machine
Review of Binatone System 30 Plus by
atlantis140
Advantages: Simple to use and Crammed full of features.
Disadvantages: None
...To me the binatone system 30 plus is an excellent answering machine which houses many, many features. It will tell you the time and day that the person rang. It has a variable answer facility so you can have it come on after so many rings. It also has a memo facility allowing you to record a message onto it for the person who shall listen to the message and it also has remote access which allows you to pick up your messages wherever you are by simply typing in a code into the phones keypad.
It is also a great price. At £15 it is a real bargain and is as good as the many high end models available.
The system 30 really will take good sounding messages and you should never have any trouble with it....

freedom to talk anywhere
Review of Binatone Pegasys twin by
Belgarath_02
Advantages: two of everything, more can be added.
Disadvantages: no intercom, can only use one handset at a time
...I have just purchased a Binatone Pagasys Twin cordless phone. Having looked at a number of others in the shops and in catalogues, I am of the opinion that the Pegasys is probably one of the best value for money cordless phones around.
The Pegasys at £19.99 consists of a base unit, TWO cordless phones and, would you believe, TWO chargers. You can also add further phones as required. The only problem, is that you cannot have bothe phones connected at the same time ( ie two people at your end talking to the other caller.
There is also a pager facility, but no intercom. All in all though, A good phone for the money....

Binatone S1545 - it's what you need!
Review of Binatone S-LIFE L1545 DUAL VOIP USB by
technosplat
Advantages: Cheap, reliable, versatile, range, looks
Disadvantages: Sound quality OK but could be better
...Having recently started a new photography business, we've been looking into various ways of communicating with customers.
Having a very small start-up budget, we are always looking to reduce costs. By subscribing to Skype for around £2.50/month we receive unlimited UK calls to landlines and our own phone number with a local prefix of our choice - bargain!
A much cheaper (and more flexible) option than having a 'second line' installed for business use. However, microphones and earphones are no way to talk to customers when you're rumaging through photographs! So we needed a solution. The Binatone S1545 is it!
Combined with Skype, all the time our PC is on and connected to the net (which is most of the time) we have a dedicated phone line for the business. What's more - we can forward calls to another number, make outgoing calls...
