Cool as a Cucumber
Review of Origins Biotherm Biosource Foaming Invigorating Cleansing Water. by
carly_pussycat
Advantages: Seemed to keep skin in good overall condition
Disadvantages: Dried my skin slightly if I didn't use moisturiser
...Biotherm is a little known mid-priced cosmetics range, popular in Europe but only relatively recently introduced in the UK. Just looking at their website I can see that Natasha Bedingfield has put her name to it - so who knows, perhaps it's about to get a lot more popular?! I was introduced to it after my sister got rather addicted to it (she has lots of things including one ENTIRE range!) and gave me a generously sized gift set a few months ago. Included in my gift set was cleanser, toner and moisturiser. I will be reviewing the cleanser.
BIOTHERM BIOSOURCE - FOAMING INVIGORATING CLEANSING WATER
Cut right down to the basics that just means a foaming cleanser! The 'sample' that I received was a very generous 50ml, a third of the full size product. All of the Biotherm range looks fresh, modern and minimal. The bottle I...

Biotherm Anti-drying body milk
Review of Biotherm Anti-Drying Body Milk by
costas1234
Advantages: Smooth soft skin finish
Disadvantages: High price, Questionnable ingredients inside the bottle
...I read an article in a magazine that a free bottle of Biotherm was available for free. I bought the magazine called Zest as a way to save money to get the free sample bottle of "Biotherm" anti-drying lotion.
So having spent a few hours travelling to Central London to Selfridges i saw 2 or 3 similar women getting the same product.
Ingredients include Aspartic acid, Glutamic acid, Nicotiana, soybean oil, parrafinium liquidium among other chemicals.
Having read the ingredients of the contents does not convince me to use this stuff on my body.
What i did was test a little part on my finger to see the effects on my manly rough hands skin.
Upon opening there was a fake citrus orange or lime smell fragrance which i feel strongly is pleasant.
The milk took 2 minutes to partially absorb, leaving a smooth shiny finished...

A must for every beauty routine
Review of Biotherm Biosource Clarifying Cleansing Gel by
WhiteChocolatePraline
Advantages: Quality and great results.
Disadvantages: None
...As a true fan of Biotherm range, I can’t stop talking about their products. And as long as I try something new, I am going to tell you about them. Hope you don’t mind and if you think that it’s boring to death, please make yourself a cup of strong coffee to keep you awake and read my new “creation”. I will do my best to make it interesting but no promises…
Cleansing Gel is an important part of any beauty routine, as we all know. You cannot avoid it that is why you’ve got to get the best that would suit your skin, won’t make you broke and will look nice on a shelf.
Biotherm offers a few types of cleansers – water, foam, milk and gel. These products are also available for sensitive skin, oily skin, and dry skin. Check Biotherm web-site for more details.
I prefer gel over other varieties, so went for Biosource Clarifying Cleansing...

expensive and why invest!!!
Review of Biotherm Source Therapie by
kitty_l
Advantages: leaves face soft with a velvety touch
Disadvantages: expensive porduct
...ok I brought a biotherm PREP travel kit for normal to combination skin £28 in Selfridges which contained biosource foaming cleansing water, clarifying lotion, aqua source non-stop, source therapie and a lip gloss.
I thought I try biotherm as one of my fave celebrities uses the whole range. I would write a review on the whole range not just about the source therapie.
PREP stands for Purify-Rebalance-Enhance-Perfect/Protect. So in order for great looking skin you need 4 different products to do this.
The cleansing water does wonders to your skin making it instantly clear looking and soft to touch. It comes in a 50ml pump bottle, press it two times and you see instant foam. Although I think it cleaned quite well its not as good as cliniques mild soap.
The clarifying lotion is just like a typical toner but it smells great, kind...

More of a foam flop than a foam burst
Review of Boots Natural Collection Lime Fruity Shower Foam by
shorn_the_sheep
Advantages: Good texture, more fun than using regular shower gel
Disadvantages: Very unpleasant, lingering smell. Unappealing packaging
...Packaging:
At first glance, this really doesn’t look like a very promising product. It closely resembles a can of hair mousse, with a spout at the top pointing upwards, which you point down and push to dispense the foam. The canister itself is cylindrical and made of lime green metal. Bizarrely, the picture on the front features an open umbrella? Usually you would expect a picture of the fruit it is made of, or at least something a bit more shower and bath related. I wasn’t sure whether I was meant to only use this when I was dry, or only use it in the rain. Either way it didn’t seem all that encouraging!
The back of the canister claims that you will “experience an intensely fruity and stimulating shower….that will leave skin feeling refreshed and super smooth.”
Packaging also states that the product is dermatologically tested...

Foaming at the mouth
Review of Gillette Shaving Foam Original by
Simoncook1
Advantages: Provides a very close shave when combined with a good razor
Disadvantages: When shaving against the grain, becomes important to shave slowly
...The whole idea about shaving foam is to provide a foam that will assist your razor blade and hopefully ensure that you get the closest shave without cutting or mutilating your face.
I used to think that the most important factor in shaving was the razor. This does make a difference, but no matter how much I shaved with water or soap, I ended up cutting my face or leaving what has become known as ‘designer stubble’.
I began to experiment with various shaving creams ranging from cheap ‘tesco’ products to ultra expensive shaving creams that had some ‘sensitive’ and ‘smelly’ stuff in it that was supposed to soothe your face.
After many trials and tribulations I finally settled on using the no nonsense Gillete Shaving Foam (original) – being a backward Yorkshireman I didn’t...

♡ Private Pink Foam Party ♡
Review of FCUK Foaming Body Wash by
susie191
Advantages: Pink Fun in the shower
Disadvantages: Not widely available
...I've been a foam fan for a few years so imagine my delight when I clapped eyes on a fuschia pink cylinder screaming the words 'Clean Up FCUK' from the shelf at a large Boots on Market Street.
So pleased with myself for this find, I couldn't wait to get home to try it out and I then made a rather foolish mistake of squirting a little foam on my hand on the bus journey home. Oops, a little squirt goes an awful long way and I soon had a handful of frothy foam to deal with. Quite embarrassing, I can tell you.
♡ Pink to Make the Boys Wink ♡
Clean Up is a foaming bodywash made by FCUK. I'm sure you'll all be aware that this stands for French Connection UK, a clever play on words. Thankfully, the FCUK wording on the bright pink container is relatively small. If you have young kids you may appreciate this because kids...

●T-Zone Foam Wash●
Review of T-Zone Deep Clean Foaming Face Wash by
JulyBunny
Advantages: Cleans, Clears, Refreshes, Softens and Helps Your Skin
Disadvantages: Can Take Quite A While To Take Work On Some People
...WHAT IS IT?
‘T-Zone is specially formulated with effective natural ingredients to keep skin healthy, clear and irritation free.’ (As said on the bottle).
T-Zone Deep Clean Foaming Face Wash helps clear spots, helps restore and clean broken/irritated skin and cleans and refreshes the skin.
It does say that it is a ‘face wash’, so by hearing the name you would think it is just that. A face wash. But it isn’t JUST that. As I have said above, it helps many skin troubles such as dry skin, spots etc. The front of the bottle doesn’t give away much about what the product is so you do have to turn over and read the back of the bottle to actually know what the product is and what the product does.
It is a liquid in the bottle, but as soon as it is dispensed onto your hand, it turns into foam. Now I think most people will agree...

foaming heck
Review of fairy active foam by
sheffsal
Advantages: smells nice
Disadvantages: its not a miracle with grease
...Im a sucker for all things new especially when it comes to cleaning products. I had watched the advert for Fairy Foam and was impressed, So I thought right when I next do my online shop with Tescos Im having some of that. My order was duely delivered and I found the bag containing my Fairy Active Foam and brand new spontex spong.
My pet hate when washing up is the meat dish, specially when I have cooked chicken. Chicken fat is so urgh (yes I have and do line the tins with foil, but sometimes the foil rips and the fat from the skin leaks.)
I read the directions for use and began. Hot water in to the bowl, dip the sponge in to the bowl of water then squeese out and then a pump of the foam, pick up my dirty dinner plate and began. Wiping round first with the sponge and then rinsing in the bowl of hot water, Hey not bad, had...

No Wet Wonder Foam Warning! Alert, Alert!!
Review of No Wet Wonder Foam by
kerryzach
Advantages: None!
Disadvantages: Ruins whatever it touches!!
...Having a two year old and a cat, oh and a hubby, my carpets have got into a bit of state. There is only so much a hoover can pick up.
I tend to watch those stupid shopping channels when I go to bed and on the odd occasion that I have bought something, I have ended up with decent products. For example, Yano, the Interactive Story Teller (See review!)
I saw this No Wet Wonder Foam and thought WOW! The ad showed stains disappearing before your eyes! Beige carpets spotless again. It was priced at £24.95 plus £6.95 postage and packing which is a bit pricey looking back but the product really grabbed me! Before I knew what I was doing I had ordered it!! Boy, Was I in trouble!!
The No Wet Wonder Foam claims to be a major scientific breakthrough that helps clean and restore carpets or upholstery quickly totally and without messy...
