Birkenstocks Excellent quality and comfort - well worth the price

Advantages: Durable, comfortable, reasonably priced, always in fashion
Disadvantages: Cork sole tends to break with lots of use

...I am a big fan of birkenstocks, my fiancee and I both wear them all the time. Between us, we've had the Roma, Ramses, Boston, Boston Microfibre and I am sure a few other pairs. They are rediculously comfortable when you get used to them. I will admit, when you first put them on they can be a bit stiff and even uncomfortable. It take a few weeks until the cork sole starts taking shape of your foot but after you get through that, than you won't be able to take them off. They are especially good for long walks. The craftsmanship of the birkenstock goes back something like 250 years and this is evident through the firm support that they offer. They have a deep heel cup and contoured footbed in all their styles that gives arch support so that your weight is distributed evenly. They come in several different fabrics such as leather...

Boston Hilton

We were looking for somewhere to stay on a trip to Boston and had decided that a guest house would be a happy medium. However, they weren?t that cheap and when I had a look on Expedia and found a Hilton for less money I couldn?t believe my luck! LOCATION: This Hilton is located in Boston?s Financial District. It is at 89 Broad Street. Despite it being in the Financial District we found it very easy to walk from the hotel to the main tourist sites of the city. Quincy Market and the Old State House were only 10 minutes walk away. PRICES: The price of this particular hotel seems to vary a lot depending on when you stay and who you book through. BOSTON IN DECEMBER

Advantages: Excellent dollar rate, laid back city
Disadvantages: Spent too much shopping and did not get to see the famous New England Fall trees!

...About a month ago now, my partner Paul and l headed off for a short break to Boston, Massachusetts, from 2nd December until 7th December. We flew from Belfast City airport with BMI – at a cost of around £80 per person return, flying on to from London Heathrow with United Airlines to Washington Dulles then to Boston’s Logan International airport. This cost approximately £550 for 2 adults. Now we flew with United for one simple reason – United are Star Alliance members – we could have flown direct to Boston with the likes of British Airways or Virgin Atlantic – but we would not have gained air miles and membership miles (l know its sad!) The overall flight took from 8.55am and we arrived into Boston around 2pm (-5 GMT). So it was just over 10 hours – a direct flight would take over 7 hours...

I was the Executive Producer of a Documentary Film and I was talking to show it to the Dean of the Fine Arts Department before we "color corrected it". He met me at the Airport but had to wait a long time because know one ever told me that you could not bring a movie into the United States without special papers. ...Wyndham Boston Room rates: We visited the Wyndham Boston in September 2005 and booked via the Wyndham's own website which not only guarantees the best rates (and this is true as I did a LOT of checking!) it also entitles you to membership of Wyndham By Request whereby you specify your room type preferences such as bedding and also a free welcome drink and snack upon arrival; a nice touch! We were also contacted on two occasions by our Wyndham Request Manager Jessica to check if everything was okay with our stay. We paid approx $160 for a twin room including breakfast. If you can be flexible over dates then you can get some great deals on room rates with some rooms only rates being available from $120 +. The parish church was first built in 1309 making it nearly 700yrs old, the work on the tower started a century later at around 1425-1430 and was not completed until 1510-1520, so you will notice a slight difference in the architectural design. It is speculated that the name Boston Stump came about because it originally should have donned a spire, but instead it has a 'stump' appearance, but in fact where the name originated from no-one knows. ...I struggle to find well fitting, comfortable shoes ever since my hubby stood on my little toe when I was wearing flip flops a couple of years ago. Now the said toe sits at a jaunty angle, quite at odds with the rest of my digits.
