  No more doggy smells

Advantages: Lovely clean, deep clean carpets

...I really needed one of these. After a couple of days I decided that I couldn't live without one and ordered it on my account. I know I could have got a similar model cheaper, or waited for the sales in the shops, but once I decide I need something I have to buy it there and then. Delivery was quite quick, I have had a look and now they are selling them for £194.54 and offer a three week delivery. I added the url for the lxdirect page that the Bissell carpet cleaner is on but it was such a long one that it made the page go funny and the advert on the side blocked some of the rest of the review. Then to the rescue came my maiden in shining armour in the shape of a Comet sales assistant, extolling the virtues of the Bissell machines, assuring me there was nothing better on the market, and that it coped admirably with the Ribena stains of her two under 5?s, with two models in the shop, one priced at £169, the other at £238.99, I bet it did. But the young lady was sooooo convincing, Martin rolling his eyes at the prospect of me investing extortionate sums of money in something that might not work, and me erring towards the pricier machine...

Bissell 3750 bagless upright vacuum cleaner

Advantages: Excellent suction, ease of use, quick emptying dust container, switch brushes on or off easily
Disadvantages: Heavy when complete unit, short hose

...I purchased this vacuum from a local retailer on their recommendation and have been thoroughly pleased with my purchase. After having a well known bagless cleaner previously but not able to afford to replace with the same I considered other options with the thought that a less expensive cleaner would mean compromising in some way. I have found this cleaner to be wonderful. We have two long haired dogs but the cleaner picks up with ease. There is a switch on top of the main body of the machine so easily in reach during cleaning which allows for easy on off control of the brushes for changes in floor surfaces. I originall wondered if the capacity of the dust collection compartment would become a pain as it appeared quite small but again i have been pleasantly surprised to find that with it's simple release i actually don't find it...
