...Claire's accessories for the jewellery I recently bought a birthday present for someone here it was a lovely necklace and they still wear it. The earrings here are great you can buy just one pair or many on the one tag. There are nice notebooks to buy which have nice fur outides and there are mirrors hair accessories lots to buy. The prices can be anything from £1 to £10 bags are no more than this. When there is a sale here you can find some great bargains but I haven't experienced one ina while because I haven't been in but I used to get nice earrings. They have specific earrings for sensitive ears and so on. The staff in this shop are ok but they are not very friendly and helpful like in other shops. I feel they could be a bit nicer but I suppose it depends on what shop you actually go into. From the shops I have been in they say hello...

...Claire's accessories is a shop for the females. It's mainly young children and teenagers that shop here but you do find older women here too. The shop sells:- hair accessories nail varnish belts purses jewellery and more You can also have your ears pierecd here too. I've been in the shop a couple of times now to buy hair accessories and nail varnish. There is a wide range of items to choose from in different colours. As soon as you go through the door though, they are lunging a hand basket at you. If you do not take one they do not seem too pleased about it either. When you are paying for your goods, they always ask if you want to buy the bargain of the day like a nail file. They do not seem to be satisfied with what you take to the counter at all. A Range of Accessories but It's Too Small!

Disadvantages: the shop is too small, it's overpriced for what it is

...Claires Accessories is a shop MORE for teenagers but adults and younger children do tend to find something in there to their liking. I'm not a regular shopper at Claires and when I go shopping I normall y just have a quick browse and leave or buy something. Layout and Presentation Claires Accessories is a very small shop and it is filled to the brim with accessories. Every single wall is covered with shelfs or hooks with bags and other things hung on them. Theres also rotating display racks with loads of earings. The lighiting is okay, it's not too bright nor is it dim. It's a bit claustrophobic exspecially when it's crowded. Presentation wise, it's a bit messy and staff could put a bit more effort into keeping the shop tidy. Claire's untidy, expensive accessories

...Claire's accessories moved to Harlow a few years ago, much to the delight of everyone as it was a welcome newcomer being that it was the first specialist hair-care and odds'n'ends shop in the town. Up until then we had to rely on a market stall or small ranges offered by various other shops and supermarkets. I give it fair ratings that the stuff they offer is in keeping with current trends, keeping today's girls whatever age kitted out in the fashion, but (always a but) the shop needs a little attention in the following areas: It's not just school age girlies who want to be trendy so how about making it a little less cluttered for us 'mumsies' to get a pushchair around inside without the worry of knocking the person next to you out with the swing of a Tesco's carrier? I've only got a single pushchair so I pity those with a double...

Accessories for the young at heart

Advantages: Very colourful with lots of things instore

...Claire's Accessories is, I know, mainly for the kids and teenagers. I shop in here mainly over Christmas time for the kids in my family, but have been known to do the odd bit of shopping in there for myself! They are not really all that cheap. I have bought 3 hairbands in there, 2 of which have subsequently broken, 1 is still in good working order! The last one I bought cost £2.50. They also do ear-piercing. The sign outside said from £6.99. Not as cheap as some places, but this store is a national chain store, and would cost more. When you first look at the store, it's very colourful with plenty of bits and bobs in to buy from hair accessories, purses, bangles nail varnish, bags and jewellrey. Who needs accessories anyway

...Claire's accessories should only been ventured in when you know exactly want you want,or are basically desperate! This is mainly because of four things 1.The shops are so tiny, but, are also packed to the brim with stands filled with accessories.Clutter is everywhere and ona Saturday afternoon don't even try it! 2.They try and fool you into thinking prices are cheap but there are usually not.£6.00 for a frame is quite expensive if you ask me, with cheaper things around the check out to suck you in. 3.Whenever you go there the shop is over run by young teenage girls looking at the entire contents of the shop and trying every slide yo every boa on and this is really not goo.Believe you me!(Was i really that bad?) 4.I've heard very nasty stories about the ear piercing and lats face it, they must be sadistic to put every ear piercing...

Claires Accessories - Gloucester

Advantages: Three for two offers
Disadvantages: Layout of shop needs revising. Far too cramped.

...Claires Accessories is a great place to shop, especially if you're thinking of buying a gift. I do think, however, some of their products are a little pricey, and I tend to look for something similar elsewhere. It's great when they have the three for two offers. Although, a lot of the stock they promote, and mark down in price, tends to be a little on the garish side, and I have noticed the products that are not sold in the sales, crop up time after time, looking old and tatty. The shop is far too cramped, and I think they seriously need to revise the overall layout. Anyone who has shopped at the Gloucester store will know exactly what I mean. The words cramped and Sardines spring to mind. It's not all negative, the staff are freindly, and helpful, always ready to let you know, when you get to the checkout, if you spend another £5...

Claire can keep her accessories

Advantages: cheap
Disadvantages: cheap tacky and horrible!

...I always cringe when I pass this shop. All I can see through the window is rail upon rail of tacky hair accessories and the kind of jewellery that would bring you out in an allergic rash. I'm not a big fan of Claire's accessories although I trusted them to pierce my ears several times. The thing that I find particularly repulsive is the overdose of glitter and fluffy feathers, they look cheap and unsurprisingly ARE cheap. This is the only virtue of the shop, the true value of their goods is acknowledged. Another thing that makes the Claire's Accessories shopping experience all the more worse is the fact that the shop is only designed to hold 3 people so the dreams of a swift exit are out of reach. There's clutter everywhere, you can never shift the thought that you're about to be buried alive by fluffy pink hairclips at any moment...

Wierd little bits

Advantages: Absolutely superb
Disadvantages: none as of yet

...Don?t you just hate it when something goes wrong with the car and you haven?t got the right bit to sort it, or even attempt to sort it? Such is life that this happens to me all the time or at least it used too. I still get caught out occasionally with the big expensive bits but in general for screws and those funny-headed gizmos that keep some secret part of the engine running I?ve now got them sussed. About 18 months ago my old Rover had a problem with the distributor, and it turned out that it was a part called the igniter, which was held onto the distributor by 4 funny-headed screws. ...Claire's accessories is a good store for those who could not afford any better. Yes, the accessories are cheap, the variety is vast, but I do think the quality is not that great. I used to be a regular customer of Claire's accessories. It was when I was much younger and the money I had was limited. Indeed Claire's accessories are very attractive to the eye, and as the prices are generally very affordable, I used to buying a lot of by accessories there. But as I grow older and am able to afford better stuff, I gradually realise that the quality there is indeed not very good. Several of the necklaces I bought from Claire's are tarnished, and two of the three bracelets I bought for my friend broke. Also, I sometimes find it hard to find well designed stuff there.
