...I was delighted when my husband bought the Black and Decker PV1205B Dust buster for my birthday. Whilst the price might seem high anything with lower voltage is a waste of time and money. Lower voltage dust busters just don't work you need something with a bit of power, one that performs well and does the job you need it to do. The Black and Decker PV1205B Dust buster is powerful, practical and efficient basically you cannot go far wrong in purchasing this and I would recommend it to anyone. My dust buster has always been reliable and it has never let me down yet. It makes the perfect gift for any occasion and will last for years. I have a 3 year old child and I cannot tell you enough how helpful this Dust buster has been with my child. You know children, they make a mess don't they? Black & Decker Pivot Vac - an excellent machine

Advantages: Easy to use, empty and maintain - does what it says, and does it well.
Disadvantages: I've not found any yet

It lives in its charger/base, which can be screwed to the wall, but is small enough just to sit on the worktop (unlike other cordless vacs, it stands on its end, so takes up very little space). The base needs to be near a 13A socket, but it doesn't need to be plugged in all the time, as a full charge gives plenty of suck-time (I have not timed it). The instructions (as is Black & Decker norm) are detailed, easy to understand, and helpful. The rotating nozzle may seem like a gimmick, but it makes the device very good at vacuuming on high surfaces (e.g. cupboard tops) and low inaccesable spots. There are two speeds, but usually the lower one is fine. The spout is telescopic, and there is a little brush that can be clipped into the end...

I'm a lumberjack and I'm okay# ......

Advantages: Able to cut branches up to 100 cm thick. Light weight. Easy to use
Disadvantages: Power Cable is not long enough

First they came up with the Scorpion which despite its design flaws was a pretty cool, time saving gadget and now they've come up with this animal - The Alligator and this is no toy. This literally has teeth. I have a garden that is above average in size. It has a few trees in it with branches beginning to reach the ground and it also has some weird not-quite-tree things that look more like branches growing out of the ground with leaves on them. For the last 7 years I've been watching these guys grow and grow and slowly take over my garden. Each year I've made a half-hearted attempt to cut them back but without the right tools it's practically impossible. Black and Decker: A sting in the tail

Advantages: cuts just about anything with minimum effort on your part
Disadvantages: poor design means the blade becomes loose

...Being a gadget lover I bought my black and decker scorpion about 5 years ago. At the time it was the only electic saw that I could find and I had a big DIY job to do at home. The saw itself comes with three blades; one for wood, one for metal pipes and plastics and a third somewhat flexible blade for use as a jigsaw. So this is really three saws in one. The blades can be changed by simply pressing a safety catch on the side, removing the old one and sloting in the new one. The metal and wood blades fit in one direction whilst the jigsaw blade fits in at a 90 degree angle for obvious reasons. ...This is quite a unique piece of kit. Ideal for the gardener who has small trees or bushes in the garden and likes to prune off branches. In other words its for a gardener who does not see need to buy a petrol driven chain saw and have all the maintance problems that come with it. Such as mixing oil and petrol to the correct mixture. And when you have finished useing petrol driven chain saws they need draining off, otherwise they can be a hazard, and you allways have the smell of petrol in the shed or garage. So being electric its a lot safer. I decided to obtain the Alligator as I had a number of overgrown and quiet wild Triffid like bushes that I needed to get rid of. Black and Decker Hammer Drill

...This hammer drill is great as it good quality and easy to use (a must for me). It has all the standard features you would expect from hammer dills. To prove how good quality Black and Decker are I still have my dads old drill which must be over 10 Years old and its still in working order. I reason I got a new one was that the old one was a bit basic and did not have all the gadgets that the new versions have on them. It was also really good Value for money. I would buy it again...
