...I was delighted when my husband bought the Black and Decker PV1205B Dust buster for my birthday. Whilst the price might seem high anything with lower voltage is a waste of time and money. Lower voltage dust busters just don't work you need something with a bit of power, one that performs well and does the job you need it to do. The Black and Decker PV1205B Dust buster is powerful, practical and efficient basically you cannot go far wrong in purchasing this and I would recommend it to anyone. My dust buster has always been reliable and it has never let me down yet. It makes the perfect gift for any occasion and will last for years.
I have a 3 year old child and I cannot tell you enough how helpful this Dust buster has been with my child. You know children, they make a mess don't they? Then you have to clean it up, sometimes it feels...

Black & Decker Pivot Vac - an excellent machine
Advantages: Easy to use, empty and maintain - does what it says, and does it well.

A small cordless vacuum cleaner.
It lives in its charger/base, which can be screwed to the wall, but is small enough just to sit on the worktop (unlike other cordless vacs, it stands on its end, so takes up very little space). The base needs to be near a 13A socket, but it doesn't need to be plugged in all the time, as a full charge gives plenty of suck-time (I have not timed it).
The instructions (as is Black & Decker norm) are detailed, easy to understand, and helpful.
The rotating nozzle may seem like a gimmick, but it makes the device very good at vacuuming on high surfaces (e.g. cupboard tops) and low inaccesable spots. There are two speeds, but usually the lower one is fine. The spout is telescopic, and there is a little brush that can be clipped into the end...

Black and Decker: A sting in the tail
Advantages: cuts just about anything with minimum effort on your part
Disadvantages: poor design means the blade becomes loose
...Being a gadget lover I bought my black and decker scorpion about 5 years ago. At the time it was the only electic saw that I could find and I had a big DIY job to do at home.
The saw itself comes with three blades; one for wood, one for metal pipes and plastics and a third somewhat flexible blade for use as a jigsaw. So this is really three saws in one.
The blades can be changed by simply pressing a safety catch on the side, removing the old one and sloting in the new one. The metal and wood blades fit in one direction whilst the jigsaw blade fits in at a 90 degree angle for obvious reasons.
To start the saw you need to press two buttons rather like you do with lawnmowers. Its a safety precaution to ensure it isn't set off accidently. Once the saw has started you can release the safety button and rely on the main button to...

Black and Decker Dry and Sometimes Wet Vac
Advantages: Easy to use, good suction, useful attachments
Disadvantages: No charging light, doesn't work on wet spills on absorbent surfaces
...As a teenager, I have an affinity for getting rooms mucky, mostly from snack crumbs, so, about 1 ½ years ago, I decided that enough was enough, and bought a little dustbuster was what I needed to keep my room looking presentable between my weekly clean with a big vacuum. My first dust buster was a Dirt Devil, well priced (around £20) but poorly made, and, after a year, a key part of the dust chamber broke and the motor died, after groaning for a long time beforehand.
So, I decided to try a slightly higher priced dust buster this time, the Black and Decker 4.7V cordless Wet and Dry Dustbuster, bought from Argos for around £25-30. I have had it for about 6 months now, and have encountered no problems.

Dustbustingly clean the Black and Decker WV4815
Advantages: Powerful, cleans water spills
Disadvantages: None yet
...The Black and Decker Dustbuster 4.8v cleaner is fantastic! It cleans everything! I'll run through a tried list: Corn Flakes, Dust, Tea, Wine, Sawdust Flies and spiders (!), Crumbs.
DESIGN
It can be attached to a wall next to a plug to be recharged before use. The dust is collected in a clear blue case which can be emptied and washed clean. Also, there are some attachments which can be put on the front of the vacuum to increase the power through making the gap in the front less. These attachments click into the base of the vacuum, making it easy to keep organised.
CLEAN
Cleaning the machine is very easy as the filters and the containers can be cleaned under the tap. This means that there aren't any expensive add-ons which need to be bought.
GUARANTEE
The guarantee (not that it's needed, as the workmanship is good) lasts...

Cordless Dustbuster

With my conventional cord vacuum cleaner, my toddler used to stumble over the cord. He just loves to run around the house like crazy especially when I'm cleaning. He was fond of annoying me by pulling the plug from the socket as I cleaned at the center of the living room.
When my sister's vacuum cleaner died, I sold my cleaner to her for less than half the price and I decided to buy a cordless vacuum cleaner. I searched for a good cleaner in the internet and I ended up purchasing a Black & Decker DV1205 cylinder Vacuum Cleaner at £73.

Black and Decker Hammer Drill
Advantages: Value for Money
Disadvantages: Does not come with drill bits or case
...This hammer drill is great as it good quality and easy to use (a must for me). It has all the standard features you would expect from hammer dills.
To prove how good quality Black and Decker are I still have my dads old drill which must be over 10 Years old and its still in working order. I reason I got a new one was that the old one was a bit basic and did not have all the gadgets that the new versions have on them.
It was also really good Value for money. I would buy it again...

A Handy Little Sucker That Blows Its Rivals Away

Cadbury Double Decker
Advantages: A great chocolate bar
Disadvantages: I guess it's got a few calories!
...Yes, it's now time to move onto chocolate bars on my whirlwind tour of junk food that I'm eating this week in an attempt to pass the time! It's certainly one of, if not my absolute favourite chocolate bar out there...introducing Cadbury's Double Decker.
To use the quote on the front of the bright purple and orange wrapper, (yes, it certainly stands out!) the bar is made up of "milk chocolate with smooth, chewy nougatine and crisp, crunchy cereal filling." Delicious!
I'm sure a number of you can remember the rather odd advertising campaign for Double Decker's a number of year's back that included eccentric comedian Charlie Chuck on an old routemaster bus describing what exactly a Double Decker is.
