Diorshow Waterproof Mascara in Black

Advantages: Does exactly what it says it will!
Disadvantages: Couldn't ask for more really...

...a lot of mascara on my blonde eyelashes, but for darker eyelashes one quick coat would probably be enough for most people. The big brush is definitley a contributing factor to how easy it is to apply (although it can be tricky to master at first as its size means it isn't too difficult to end up with it on your eyelashes. The mascara liquid as a great consistency, gloopy enough to stay on the wand and your eyelashes well. I did experience some clumping but nothing too bad. The packaging on this product is also very nice - it comes in a Dior box with the mascara inside. The simple silver and black packaging mark this out as a luxury item, setting it apart from the often garish cheaper packaging on cheaper products. Overall, having first tried this product as it was given to me as a present I will be buying it again as it is...

Diorshow Mascara - Black

Advantages: Good Quality
Disadvantages: Thick consistency

...Christian Dior are renowned for being a premium high quality brand and this mascara is certainley not a let down. Diorshow comes in typical Dior makeup packaging, navy blue with the silver dior logo printed across half, making your make up bag look good even before you get it on yourself. The mascara brush is big and rounded, a lot bigger than most mascaras out on the market, it really helps to curl and separate your lashes. The mascara itself is quite thick so can clog your lashes is you apply too much, but using the right amount gives stunning effects, it really makes you look like you are wearing false lashes. It is not waterproof but it doesnt give you those dreaded pand eyes if you get caught teary eyed. A great mascars, you wont be disappointed!...

Wonderful mascara, definately worth the money!!!

Advantages: Stays put, gives you lovely lashes, nice packaging and easily available.
Disadvantages: Quite expensive, doesn't last as long as some.

...I recieved this mascara as a christmas present, it was part of a gift set. I have used many different mascaras priced from £5 to £20 but I have never really found one that I liked enough to buy again. That was until I tried this one! This is by far the best mascara I have ever used.! I like the packaging, and the wand handle made it easy and comfortable to apply the mascara. It was easy to apply, just the right amount of product comes out on the wand. One coat gives you fantastic thick and glossy lashes, two to three coats gives you a dramatic look which really opens your eyes. The mascara itself stayed on all day, no smudging or flaking at all. I don't have the waterproof type, but I found that on occasions when I have been caught out in the rain this stuff stays put! When it comes to taking it off, you don't have to rub...

Review of Lancome Hypnose Mascara Black

Excellent waterproof mascara

Advantages: definitely waterproof, natural looking, non clumpy
Disadvantages: dramatic look not achieved, lancome products expensive

...I am a big fan of Lancome products on the whole and it is true to say you get what you pay for. LOOK: This mascara is excellent, two coats will get you beautifully seperated lashes that look natural and not over the top. If you are aftera more dramatic evening look, its probably not the best choice. Good day time choice! WATERPROOF: I tend to do A LOT of swimming. Completely stood the test and didnt smudge. I also went to the most beautiful wedding, cried alot and still didnt budge. Brilliant! the problem is trying to remove it....after a several hard rubs it finally comes off so probably not the best for sensitive eyes! CONCLUSION Would recommend this for a holiday/wedding etc, stays put, give you natural looking lashes, nothing overly dramatic however, you would probably need another brand for this....

SUPER BLACK MASCARA

Advantages: compact, very black
Disadvantages: sometimes clumpy

...I got givent his product for christmas as part of a gift pack. I dont normally buy stuff from the body shop myself as hen I buy makep its not the first place that comes into my mind. I did however try this product and was quite happy with the results. I like my eyes to really stand out and the colour of this mascara really did that! It was a very deep black colour which is the way I like it. It came in a very compact tube and contained a brush- not a wand like some other products ive used. I did find that sometimes when I applyed it, it clumbed my eyelashes together slightly but that could of been my technique whilst being a rush etc. When it was applied correctly however, it did look fantastic. I think il start using more body shop products in the future as they are really nice and also not tested on animals. Id recommend...

...I used to flick about between mascara's, never being particularly impressed by any. This is the only mascara I have ever bought again and again. I think it is fantastic and would recommend anyone to buy it. The unique applicator helps you apply the mascara to the roots of your lashes to really pick them up and make them look volumised. The applicator also stops lashes sticking together; it keeps them separated for a fuller effect. I have never found it to go off but I do wear it every day so maybe I just don't give it the chance. It lasts for me, for about 6months before it run out and I need to go buy another. It can be hard to get your corner lashes, but simple for top and bottoms. It is available is four colours I believe. You should defiantly buy this product if jaw-dropping eyes are what you're aiming for! Love it!...

Review of Max Factor Masterpiece Mascara

Volume mascara

Advantages: thicker, longer lashes, deep black colour,
Disadvantages: tricky to apply, does not last long

...This mascara varies in price depending where you buy it, but is a good purchase for under £10, available from most high street retailers. I have used a number of different mascaras in my time, in the search of the longer, fuller lashes that they all seem to boast in the adverts. This mascara is one of the best that I have found for giving longer and fuller lashes. It's a nice dark shade of black and I have been complimented on my eyelashes whilst wearing it (!) . However, I do not find it the easiest to apply, with the wand quite short and the brush quite small. It is also prone to smudging, it is meant to be waterproof and is to an extent, but I'm not entirely confident it wouls withstand too many tears! It's mascara - just mascara

Advantages: No frills, great colour, long lasting
Disadvantages: A little expensive

...For more years than I care to remember I have bought mascara. I've bought cheap mascara, expensive mascara, lengthening mascara, and thickening mascara but what I have never bought is the same mascara twice in a row. Actually that isn't quite true because I love coloured mascaras (i.e. any colour other than black or brown) and so if I find a colour I like I buy that over and over again until they discontinue it usually! However I always put coloured mascara over black or brown mascara to help intensify the colour and even then only on the tips. So it doesn't really matter to me if coloured mascara does what it says on the tin. But it does matter to me that a black or brown mascara does what it claims. And that is why I have never bought two of one brand twice in a row because frankly I have never found one that does what it claims to do...
