...Being thoroughly refreshed and cheerful following my Misery conquest, an adrenaline rush urged me to stick my nose into yet another King classic, The Shining. Of course, generally when you've seen a certain Jack Nicholson film more times than you care to remember, you start to wonder, why bother? But then you hear how Stanley Kubrick practically threw Stephen King's novel into the fire after a quick skim read and went about making his own super version, makes you pretty inclined to read the novel that made King the bestseller he is today. Initially I was apprehensive about starting the book as I'd heard some negativity surrounding the content of the first few hundred pages. I honestly wasn't expecting to enjoy it as much as I did. Her Time To Shine

Advantages: Lots of big tunes
Disadvantages: A few weka tunes

Based on the novel by Stephen King and directed by Stanley Kubrick, it was made back in 1980, and yet for me and many others, remains a film that has stood the test of time. It is my all-time favourite film and has been for some time - it is one of the few films that I can watch over and over again, and yet I never get bored of, despite knowing precisely how it is going to end. The main draw to this phone is the sleek, elegant design - the slider being one of the best and most durable available on any phone. It has all the normal whistles and bells, such as the bluetooth, camera, and media player. One thing to note with regards to the bluetooth connectivity is the added security inbuilt in the phone - making it nigh on impossible for "snarfers" to hack into. I bought my first tube for 99p at Superdrug and was very pleased with it. It is like a grown-ups Lipsmackers and it even has a nice sweet taste for those lip-licking moments. The first tube I bought was just a pink tube with now shimmer however it did tint my lips nicely with a nice shade of rose. The second tube I bought was indeed the 'Pearl and Shine' colour and it was lovely. I used it everyday for about a month before it ran out and although the first time I used it I walked around all day looking like a metallic freak, I soon got the appropriate usage amount under control and had a nice pearly sheen to my kissers. ...I am very fond of the Bourjois brand as I have always found it to be of good quality and their products tend to give a more dramatic effect. During one of my failed attempts at Christmas shopping I found myself browsing the Bourjois stand in Boots. I decided to treat myself to a couple of their new products. One of these was the Shimmering Shine Liquid Eye shadow. There were eight different shades to choose from, all of which were metallic looking to give the shimmering shine effect. I chose the "Rose Acier" colour, which is a very pale pink/lilac colour which has a metallic shimmer to it. The pot looks similar to a small nail varnish bottle and I couldn't help but think it looked cute!! My little 8.5ml pot set me back £6.99 although as I brought it alongside another Bourjois product I did get a free gift of some lip colour thing...
