Lancome Juicy Tubes

Advantages: Lasts for ages, tastes quite nice

...I'm quite a big fan of lipgloss as opposed to lipstick, I find that it lasts longer and generally 'tastes' better. After receiving the No7 'Liplicious' liplgoss for Christmas one year I decided to go ahead and spend the cash on the trendy Lancome 'Juicy Tubes' lipgloss. The first thing you find is that it is quite expensive. Boots retails 15ml of Juicy Tube for £13.50 while you can cut the cost slightly on sites such as buycosmetics.com who sell 15ml for £10.95. I purchased my Juicy Tubes from duty free in the form of 7ml mini tubes, and I got 5 tubes for £20. What I noticed when using this lipgloss is that you only need to use a small quantity when applying - a little goes a long way. It stays in place for a good length of time, I can put mine on before I go to work and have two or three drinks before it needs touching...

Advantages: Ways to find it cheaper, good brand, lots of colours to choose from, raved about by everybody
Disadvantages: Expensive even when bought from cheaper places, sticky, comes off easily

...Since the day Juicy Tubes were launched Ive lusted after them. Even me, whos been known to spend 35 quid on some face gel with little bits of gold leaf suspended in it, couldnt bring myself to fork out £12 quid for a 15ml tube. Everybody raves about Juicy Tubes, saying theyre the best lipgloss around. Theyre one of the best selling lipglosses ever and this is reflected by the fact that its one of the few products that Lancome havent discontinued, they always discontinue products after a certain amount of time and its sooo frustrating when youve found something you love! So anyway, browsing through eBay I came across a seller who had somehow managed to get hold of some Juicy Tubed stock and was selling them at around £8.50 for a single tube and £18 for a box of three. YouTube : An abundance of everything!

Advantages: Something for everyone, contains some real true gems
Disadvantages: Some users can be abusive, media player keeps sticking when site is busy

Recently though, I?ve noticed an increasing number of people who upload videos onto the site have disabled the facility to leave comments. You can watch your chosen video clips on small screen or click the little square just underneath the black part where the video plays, to enlarge the screen. A lot of video clips lately are appearing on YouTube whereby they have been set to play on large screen. Little tubes of juicy joy!

...Lancome's Juicy Tubes have been available for a while and as a fan of glosses and balms I bought one for myself as treat. The Gloss comes in 15ml tubes with a screw cap. There is no 'wand' but, instead, a hole in the tip of the tube which the gloss is squeezed out of - then you just use the rounded end of the tube to spread the gloss. Very easy. I guess a mirror is ideal but you can manage without. The texture is good. It is a little sticky for my liking but this is probably why the stuff has such good lasting power. It smells divine - all the fruit flavours are true to their names-which put me off buying 'melon' because I hate the smell of melon. I have mine in 'Chilled' - obviously not a fruit flavour but a very versatile brown-gold colour. I love this because it has beautiful golden pigments in it - they are very subtle but...

...Lancome Juicy Tubes cost around £11.50 which you may think is expensive for a lip gloss, but it is actually pretty cheap considering the amount of gloss that you get in a tube - you get 15ml. The packaging is a clear plastic squeezable tube. When you twist off the lid, you will find a slanted plastic applicator, with a small hole in the centre. To apply the gloss, you squeeze the tube gently so that the product comes out through the hole. You can then apply the gloss to the lips straight from the tube (the slanted applicator makes this easy), or you can apply the gloss to a lipbrush and apply to your lips from that if you prefer. Personally, I find applying the gloss straight from the tube to the lips to be the easiest. The packaging is hygienic, as the tube doesn't have a wand that you have to dip in and out like some glosses have...

lancome juicy tubes- fruity fun in a tube

...Lancome juicy tubes have been on the lips quite literally of every fashion editor and celebrity for years now and with such an elevated cult status I was unsure if they could ever live up to the hype. I personally love these lip glosses I think squeezy tube application is great, the variety of colours is amazing, juicy tubes gives a lucious sheer colour with a long lansting gloss finish. The lancome counter is like being in a candy shop but my favourite thing about them is the fruity flavour, the only downside is you cant stop licking it all off and I have to admit it's not my boyfriends favourite lippie but here's a tip ladies if you're planning to pucker up wear lipstick.
