...An easy, plug'n'play sound system in cute-looking body with great performance. I was looking for new speakers for my laptop but then I decided I wanted more than just speakers and started searching through the lists of 2.1 and 5.1 sound systems. Originally I was about to buy a 5.1, but I realized such a set wouldn't be smart for a laptop which I wanna carry around and have it now on my desk, then on my bed, then on the floor etc, for which a 5.1 felt too much of cables and mass. I'm happy about my decision since the Logitech X-230 has proven to live up to the expectations based on what they promise, the sound is clear, full and I find it great for both music, games or movies. The subwoofer bass is strong and full, perfectly satisfying for almost cinema movie experience. You can hear hardly any noise and the volume range is wide enough...

AMD Black Edition AMD Athlon X2 7850

Advantages: Cheap
Disadvantages: Lack of overclocking headroom

...This is the first Black Edition processor from AMD that I own. This processor has 2.8 GHz of stock speed and 3MB total cache divided in 2x512KB L2 cache and 2 MB L3 cache. This Athlon series built on 65nm process so it has rather high TDP, which is 95 watt. I think this is the fastest dual core processor on 65nm process. The Athlon X2 7850 also has HyperTransport 3.0, for up to 28.5 GB/s total processor to system bandwidth, and it supports DDR2 memory with a maximum speed of 1066MHz. In term of overclocking, this processor has the same character with all Phenom I processor. It was a hard work to overclock this processor. Advantages: Light, easier to use as phone than traditional blackberry, looks quite sleek

...and default format was a strange yellowy black colour, and you don't have to fiddle around with the backlight - you just press any key and the back lights up. I spent half my life adjusting the backlight on the old one, so this was a definite plus. It's taking me a while to get used to the keyboard, though - it's very weirdly arranged, as although it is QWERTY there's more than one letter on each button, which just seems to confuse my fingers somehow! ...Recently there was an article which really sparked my emotions, both sadness and anger, surprisingly it was in The Sun (the most professional and reliable of the daily papers) the article was on the sate of Somalia and the history of the wars going on in the country. Quoted in the article was a film called Black Hawk Down, which I had heard of but never, had the opportunity to watch and had no clue about, later on when in discussion on the article, somebody brought the film up and highly recommended it. Advantages: Fantastic insight into how the islanders lived

...Arnol is a small village on the remote northern coast of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides. Today the village comprises of a number small crofts scattered across a large area but if you look closer you will see the remains of many Black Houses interspersed between the more modern houses. Black Houses are as far as I know unique to the North West Highlands of Scotland and represent a way of life for the people that have lived here, virtually in isolation from the mainland for thousands of years. ...The Logitech X-230 2.1 Speaker System is perfect for anyone who wants great sound but doesn't want to pay $200 to get it. That simple reason is why I ended up buying these speakers and let me tell you that I have yet to be disappointed. The sound is clear, loud, and fills the room using Logitech's patented FDD technology. The sound is great, I haven't had any problems with sound cutting out, bad bass or anything. I bought these at a great price around 30 USD and they also match my other peripherals which is an added bonus. These speakers have the option of being wall mounted which is a great feature for keeping your desk less cluttered especially if you already have a desk full of other gaming hardware....
