Blackberry Fields forever ?!
Advantages: One of natures free fruits
Disadvantages: none
...Roll up, roll up, food for free!
That statement has a certain ring attached to it doesn't it?
I know that Richard Mabey has written a very much talked about book on the subject of what nature can offer us in terms of nourishment. Sadly as yet I haven't read it, in fact I have just been very tempted to order a used copy from Amazon at just a little over £6.
I have to admit to being a fan of Ray Mears and although I hold my hands up to only being a fan I love to watch Ray pounding his berries and making weird and wonderful concoctions using gatherings from the hedgerows.
Blackberry picking just has to take most of us back to our childhood and sunny afternoons when we were sent off with a tattered brown paper bag to gather some blackberries to make either jam, jelly or an apple and blackberry pie.
Off we went to scour the perimeter...

Blackberry Curve 8310
Advantages: Great phone
Disadvantages: None
...So bear with me as this is my first stab at writing a technology review but I received a new Blackberry for work a few weeks ago and I'm really pleased with it so I though I would write a review on it.
The model in question is the Blackberry Curve 8310 Smartphone. I got mine free but with price plans available with the different service providers it can be anywhere up to £200 I believe.
The first thing I noticed about the phone (which is what made me choose it and as you can probably tell that I'm not very technologically minded!) is that it looks good. The phone has a lovely metallic finish, almost like a gunmetal grey colour to it although it does come in a pink version too (I wasn't allowed this for work unfortunately!) It has really nice rounded edges too and in my opinion is quite sleek. It's very light weight too, just like...

Blackberry days
Advantages: great fruits and good for wildlife too
Disadvantages: maggots
...Blackberry. Rubus fructicosus, Bramble
The Blackberry season has now just finished. Fruit gathered in, jam’s, pies and preserves made. Ok I only made a few pies this year.
I have strong memories of blackberry picking in my childhood during the late 50’s and early sixties.
I lived in a small village in Cambridgeshire and in late August early September the family mother father sister aunt uncle cousins would go on a blackberry picking picnic. We would walk across the village common to the best field with a bramble hedgerow. We took baskets bowls bags anything to collect the blackberries.
We selected a grassy spot to picnic avoiding the cow pats. Then Mother aunt father and uncles set to picking immediately us children too we picked and picked well the adults did I would pick a while choosing the biggest juiciest...

Blackberry Curve 8900 - is it worth it?
Advantages: read review
Disadvantages: read review
...First of all, let me say I have never owned a blackberry or a smartphone before (although I do like to play on my brother's nokia e71) so I cannot compare it to other blackberries and smartphones, but as a new user only.
key features:
* Camera (3.2 MP)
* Wi-Fi® Support
* Built-in GPS
* Enhanced Media Player
* Video Recording
* BlackBerry® Maps
* Wireless Email
* Organizer
* Browser
* Phone
* Corporate Data Access
* SMS/MMS
so why I chose blackberry?
I had been contimplating buying one for a while but neither the bold nor storm appealled due to the size and the fact it looked too complicated to use. However as more and more of my friends got the blackberry (and the fact I have too many friends abroad) it seemed like a really quick and cheap way of keeping in touch with everyone...

i heart my blackberry
Advantages: it does everything!
Disadvantages: battery life can be small
...Okay so I admit it im a netaholic.
I love the internet and feel totally disconnected without it so I knew that my next phone even though I'm not a business person would be a blackberry. As I am on Three I had little choice which in Blackberry- in fact the Bold was the only choice but after reading numerous reviews I felt that was probably the best option anyway as I don't like touch touchscreen phones so the storm would annoy me and the curve has ever so slightly slower internet.
So the phone! Well visually it does look great. Both business like but also attractive with nice curves and a glossy very good quality screen. My husband also agrees that the leather back cover is a particulary smooth feature in the design. The trackerball which glows white is easy to use and I think looks nicer lit up than the curve's which is not. Yes it is...

Bring on the Blackberry
Advantages: Sturdy, Easy to use, great functionality
Disadvantages: Work is always there
...I have always been adament that I would never have a Blackberry as they tie you to your desk and make sure that you can never take a day off work.
So I was not impressed when I received a Blackberry as part of my new role with work. Admitedly I am out of the office a lot so it is useful but I just didnt want to always be able to connect to my email!
Anyway I was given the Blackberry 8800 and told to use this. So, swallowing my disgust I have - and I have to say I have been converted.
It comes in a stylish black leather case with a belt hook (only for sad city boys!) but useful for attaching to the inside of your handbag and good for protecting the Blackberry if you drop it on the floor as I frequently do!
I thought that the Blackberry would be hard to use but it is surprisingly easy. It has great features and lots of them...

Iphone V Blackberry
Advantages: Similar in Tariff, Similar Qualities. Opposite spectrum
Disadvantages: Rivals, offer different things for different people lifestyles
...Is the Grass greener on the Blackberry??
I own the Apply Iphone but am always plagued by people telling me you should of got the Blackberry. I enjoy using the Apply I phone and it is competitively priced on certain tariffs one being O2.
I aim to discover which one really supplies me with the better deal, and a review on this.
Being a Corporate, commuting, internet fan I would like to check my emails with ease, enjoy games, enjoy easy use and accessible functions, music, contacts, video, camera, like anyone would and also have the sex appeal of a nice designed phone.
The Blackberry is more expensive on tariff and costs a extra approx. £10 on top of the Iphone on certain tariffs the Blackberry offers me wifi- email notification and immediate download of message whereas the Iphone downloads every 15 minutes approx, being slower...

Blackberry Storm
Advantages: instant email, brilliant user interface, touch screen, battery life, reliable
Disadvantages: camera, slow boot up
...I have always been a fan of blackberry, all my friends and family own pc?s oe have office type jobs. With the instant email function I can stay in touch with them all without extra charge to myself or to those who wish to email me.
First let?s talk about the price plans available. As you may be aware the blackberry storm is exclusively available to Vodafone customers only, so if you wish this to be your next mobile, you must either transfer your number to Vodafone, be a customer already, or purchase a new contract.
Remember everything in this review is accurate to date.
Now to date you can get the blackberry storm for free from £35 a month on a 18 month contract or £30 on a 24 month contract. On both the 35 and 30 contracts you get 200 minutes and unlimited texts (3000 ? nothing is unlimited) unlimited internet (500MB) and unlimited...

Life On The Blackberry
Advantages: Colourful, Durable, Protective
Disadvantages: Doesnt proptect the screen or keypad of the blackberry
...I bought a blackberry curve last year on a contract with orange for £25 quid a month. It gets me 300 texts and 100 minutes but unlimited internet. As i know many people with blackberries it was the internet i was most excited about. Blackberries have a program on them called blackberry messenger. It is basically like msn messenger but just for blackberries, so you can send instant messages,pictures, audios etc all for free as long as you have the internet bundle.
I'm very happy with my blackberry, it is like having your own secretary on the go. It has email, facebook, sms, camera, music etc etc.
However back to the product review. When my friend got her blackberry she didn't use any form of protection for it. After a few weeks i noticed a few scratches on the back of her phone so i thought when i get mine i need to invest...

How did we live without the blackberry??
Advantages: Great e-mail service, easy to use. Does what it says on the tin!
Disadvantages: Size is not for everyone.
...What did we do before the blackberry? Today we can take for granted the ability to send an e-mail from this small handheld device that fits in your pocket? It?s crazy!
To me the blackberry bold is the first real step blackberry have made to corner the consumer handphone market and is without a doubt the main rival to the iphone. I have been a blackberry user for the past three years, my first being the blackberry pearl, a small but useful handset, the only thing missing was the full QWERTY keyboard which you do really need. After that phone I moved to the T-Mobile MDA 3 which had a nasty stylus to type with and used Windows Mobile, two things I now abhor!
I use the phone for both business and social use. I can get my work e-mails and also keep in touch with my social life on facebook and my own personal e-mails. The blackberry e...
