Blackberry Curve 8900, unbeatable, does everything!!

...During the last ten years I've owned Nokia, Motorola and HTC handsets. However, when I got my hands on a brand new Blackberry Curve 8900 everything became so incredibly easy. When I assessed the merits of the Blackberrys I narrowed my choice down to the Curve but had to choose between the keypad or touchscreen versions. I'm glad to say that I made the right choice with the keypad version as pictured here. This box of tricks does everything I need. The Blackberry Curve 8900 has its own very specific way of operating which is very different to others manufacturers. Being a typical bloke I didn't read the instructions and leaped straight in. Blackberry 8900, does exactly what is says on the tin.

Advantages: Easy to use, long battery life, packed with features
Disadvantages: turn on is slow

...The Blackberry 8900 on T-Mobile. Having put it together (incredibly easy compared to other phones), i switched it on, this was the most disappointing thing i can find... It took a while (2-3 minutes). But once on, the screen displayed a setup box, i followed it and by the end i was ready to go, including my email setup. 2 Minutes later i'd sent my first email. Unlike the typical mobile phone it has a qwerty keypad, so the getting used to sending texts etc problem was erradicated. A week later, and even more impressed. -Finally a phone with a battery that lasts me. In my oppinion the Blackberry 8900 is an excellent all rounder. I don't know how i ever managed without one. I'm hooked, why would i ever go back to another branded phone? -Blackberry all the way....

The Blackberry Curve is an excellent, well-balanced phone

Advantages: One ofthe best Business phone's with great leisure features in one solid, attractive handset
Disadvantages: Lack of 3G may put some people off and WiFi can be temperemental.

...I've recently obtained the Blackberry Curve 8900 after using a Blackberry Pearl for around 2 years. The first thing I noticed about this phone was its very sleek and appealing look, making it the most attractive Blackberry RIM has produced thus far. Its chrome edging, full QWERTY keyboard and 2.44 inch screen amount to one very attractive phone. One feature I particularly liked upon using the phone for the first few minutes was the 'hidden' lock and mute buttons making the basic processes much faster if you keep your phone in a pocket. The QWERTY keypad is a mastered feature from RIM, it's child's play writing word documents or long emails all day long. The High Resolution LCD screen is also very high quality and plays video's with very good quality. The phone takes the more sleek approach seen in the Storm rather than that of curves...

Blackberry Curve - changed my life. (or at least made me lazier)

Advantages: Feature packed, easy to use, nice big screen, good for everything.

...So bear with me as this is my first stab at writing a technology review but I received a new Blackberry for work a few weeks ago and I'm really pleased with it so I though I would write a review on it. The model in question is the Blackberry Curve 8310 Smartphone. I got mine free but with price plans available with the different service providers it can be anywhere up to £200 I believe. The first thing I noticed about the phone (which is what made me choose it and as you can probably tell that I'm not very technologically minded!) is that it looks good. Blackberry Curve 8900 - A girls best friend!

Advantages: Easy to use, lots of features, quick internet browsing on the go,

...I have recently got the Blackberry Curve 8900 and I love it. It's the best phone I've ever had. I have it on a contract with Orange and it costs me £35 per month for 600 minutes and unlimited texts (which is good as I'm a constant texter!) - I also opted to pay an extra £5 a month for internet access on my phone, which is a must-have with a blackberry to really use all it's features. I love the full QUERTY keypad, it makes texting so quick and easy, it even has a spell check for my texts and they appear more like emails, so there is no need anymore for "text language"! The menu's are really easy to use, and you scroll around the different options using a central rollerball, which acts like a little mouse. It also has a 3.2 megapixel camera, which takes good pictures with a flash, an MP3 player and a handful of classic games...

...i recently got the blackberry curve 8320 as a replacement phone from cex, i am quite pleased with it, the cursor is really nice to move around the phone with, and the qwerty keyboard is really good and easy to use, i can send texts with it very fastly. this phone would be great if you have unlimited internet in your contract because it has a facebook app already on the phone and loads of applications ready to download. i say if you have unlimited internet because it doesnt have wifi, which is why i am going to sell this phone and maybe get another blackberry that does have wifi. what i did notice with mine is after a while it looks very tatty from scratches not because i mis-treat it because the phone picks them up quite well and because of the colour. the camera is pretty rubbish at 2mp and there is no video recorder.
