...Is the Grass greener on the Blackberry?? I own the Apply Iphone but am always plagued by people telling me you should of got the Blackberry. I enjoy using the Apply I phone and it is competitively priced on certain tariffs one being O2. I aim to discover which one really supplies me with the better deal, and a review on this. Being a Corporate, commuting, internet fan I would like to check my emails with ease, enjoy games, enjoy easy use and accessible functions, music, contacts, video, camera, like anyone would and also have the sex appeal of a nice designed phone. The Blackberry is more expensive on tariff and costs a extra approx. £10 on top of the Iphone on certain tariffs the Blackberry offers me wifi- email notification and immediate download of message whereas the Iphone downloads every 15 minutes approx, being slower...

iPhone 3G. What a phone!!!!!!

Advantages: Stylish, fast, too many applications and uses to name!!
Disadvantages: poor battery life on some applications, camera isnt great, no video.

...the camera isnt as good as most phones these days, and literally at the touch of the screen I can go to iTunes, YouTube, BBC iPlayer, eBay, Facebook or any of hundreds of other sites. I have apps giving me all the daily news I need, financial apps telling me whats happening in the stockmarket, a google mobile app with voice recognition etc etc. I can even programme by Sky TV when I'm not at home. I really cannot recommend this phone highly enough. All the major problems that initially pushed some people towards a Blackberry have now been sorted and I cant wait now to get my upgrade to the new 3Gs!!...

Apple iPhone negatives

Advantages: MacBook or Desktop in your pocket
Disadvantages: Less of a phone more of a PSP

...If you need a pocket sized version of your Mac then this is for you. Its secondary use is a phone. . small things like not being able to send MMS and even forward any text messages you have received are simple things Apple could have put into the iPhone. Also the iPhone has NO video camera function???? It does crash sometimes which is very annoying especially when on a phonecall. Also have you ever written a text only to press the send button and realise your sending it to the wrong person. . most phones have a cancel option. . but NOT the iPhone!!! The battery lasts the most I found 24 hours thats with normal usage ie iPod for around 2hours a day and maybe an hours talktime. The Blackberry Curve is an excellent, well-balanced phone

Advantages: One ofthe best Business phone's with great leisure features in one solid, attractive handset
Disadvantages: Lack of 3G may put some people off and WiFi can be temperemental.

...I've recently obtained the Blackberry Curve 8900 after using a Blackberry Pearl for around 2 years. The first thing I noticed about this phone was its very sleek and appealing look, making it the most attractive Blackberry RIM has produced thus far. Its chrome edging, full QWERTY keyboard and 2.44 inch screen amount to one very attractive phone. One feature I particularly liked upon using the phone for the first few minutes was the 'hidden' lock and mute buttons making the basic processes much faster if you keep your phone in a pocket. The QWERTY keypad is a mastered feature from RIM, it's child's play writing word documents or long emails all day long. The High Resolution LCD screen is also very high quality and plays video's with very good quality. The phone takes the more sleek approach seen in the Storm rather than that of curves...

I used ZiPhone to unlock mine from AT&T in the US for use in Ireland. Out of the box the iPhone is intruative (It has to be as a Manual is not included in the box). The box included a small quick start guide, a headset and the various connectors. Set up with iTune is a breeze even for a newbie. The Home Screen on the iPhone differs from most WIndows based Smart devices as a simple press closes the running program down. I own a HTC Touch aswell and found it much easier to upgrade and customise than the iPhone. The iPhone Masterpiece

Advantages: Visual beauty, ipod perfection, photo demon, movies screen, internet anywhere! PERFECT!
Disadvantages: cost and network locking (easily overcome) and ringtones (overcome aswell)

Now i doubt you will be able to find anyone who doesnt think this phone is gorgeous. It has an overall of 4 buttons and a switch. 1 for the home screen, 2 for sound, 1 for on and off and the switch to mute sound. The rest is controlled by your fingers on the 3.5" touch screen.
