Vodafone
Advantages: great UK customer service, great coverage
Disadvantages: NA
...Vodafone is a phone company I used to be with years ago, but due to the rest of my family members switching, I had to make the switch to the same provider as them.
Now, they have made the switch back to Vodafone, and I have recently done the same, and have to say, it's a great network to be with, and has a vast amount of call plans
Making the Switch
To make the switch to Vodafone, I ordered a Sim Pack online, which was free with free deliver- all the more to convince me to move to their network. The delivery had a little delay in between, but the Vodafone customer service and e-forum team kept me up to date, and in contact until my Sim Card arrived, which was within a few days of contacting them. I have now been with Vodafone again, for about a month, and can honestly say, the network has not changed since last time I had it...

Vodafone!
Advantages: Great customer service, easy to speak to, friendly!
Disadvantages: None!
...I have been with vodafone for a very long time and i find them a good service, I was with 02 before vodafone and found that they was not as good as vodafone, I am a very good texter and 02 could not find me a good tariff, but as soon as i spoke to vodafone they were easy to talk to and helped me straight away, i get 500 free minutes anytime of the day and 1000 textes a month for just £35 which i found is brilliant compare to other network rates.
There are different priceplans, you can find online but i found it easier to phone them and speak to them personally about what i used my mobile for and for them to tell me a price with what i wanted instead of getting a priceplan online and going over that priceplan.
Vodafone do a great package called "family" its a package where you can have 4 people who can ring eachother no matter...

Vodafone
Advantages: cant think of any
Disadvantages: Cost, Customer Services, Escalations Dept, Management Attitude
...Vodafone - 3rd place when it comes to most popular network in the UK, but it comes in first as its the network that makes the most money. Customer Services is Appalling, mainly because they Outsource it to other companies like Firstsource (ICICIonesource) - Indian call centre based in N.Ireland. Very Expensive Network, however they seem to hide this very well in their adviertising... so their TV Adds and Billboards suggest that your getting a deal..Look Closer People!!!.. Mobile Broadband is over rated and 3 Network had reported VF for its declaration of its Speed, which is impossible to determine!!! (Tech Help with Mobile BB is non existant) Staff are encouraged to be 'Self Thought' - this saves them on Trainer Wages..Nightmare guys...

vodafone
Advantages: none
Disadvantages: never get good signal
...my opinion on vodafone is not great. i dont think it is very good at all as you can not get a very good signal everywhere. I am on vodafone and i am not pleased with it as i live in the countryside and i can hardly ever get a signal. all my friends have bt cellnet and they can always get a signal when they come to my house, i would not recommend this network to anybody because of the siganl problem, apart from the signal problem this network is fine and would be ok for someone living in a built up area....

Blackberry Fields forever ?!
Advantages: One of natures free fruits
Disadvantages: none
...Roll up, roll up, food for free!
That statement has a certain ring attached to it doesn't it?
I know that Richard Mabey has written a very much talked about book on the subject of what nature can offer us in terms of nourishment. Sadly as yet I haven't read it, in fact I have just been very tempted to order a used copy from Amazon at just a little over £6.
I have to admit to being a fan of Ray Mears and although I hold my hands up to only being a fan I love to watch Ray pounding his berries and making weird and wonderful concoctions using gatherings from the hedgerows.
Blackberry picking just has to take most of us back to our childhood and sunny afternoons when we were sent off with a tattered brown paper bag to gather some blackberries to make either jam, jelly or an apple and blackberry pie.
Off we went to scour the perimeter...

Vodafone Update
Advantages: My family and boyfriend are on Vodafone so I can save money on calls to them, offers a wide range of services, excellent customer service.
Disadvantages: Not always the best coverage, expensive, limited choice of price plans, not suitable anymore
...I have been with Vodafone now for nearly three years. I brought my first phone on pay as you go on and I was spending a fortune on top ups.
I then a year later decided to buy a contract phone on Vodafone to save me money on my calls by having the free minutes off peak to call people. This actually did not work out much cheaper than top ups because I always was texting more than calling.
I admit it I am a text addict and when my bill came in each month I was horrified to see how many I sent each month but it didn't stop me did it. My bill was around £60 - 70 per month in just texting. I wish I could have got out of the habit, but still to this day I text too much. I have actually now a genie sim card where I can send 300 text messages free every month.
This was great when I first received it and my next two bills were only £30...

Vodafone Mobile Network - Not The Worst, Not The Best
Advantages: Good signal; good range of phones; reasonably priced plans
Disadvantages: Poor customer services; long customer service waiting times; incorrect bills
...for an upgrade, and Vodafone offered me a very decent price plan of 600 minutes, unlimited texts and unlimited Internet, for £30 a month (I chose a BlackBerry Bold 9000 - I've reviewed the phone if you want to know more about that handset, just click to view my other reviews). They only offered me that good priceplan after I argued over the phone to get it down to 18 months (they tried to make me have the contract for 24 months, which is far too long in my opinion), but I was pleased with the end result. They'd also given me free insurance and warranty (although I later discovered they had charged me for this - more on that later). However, it takes absolutely AGES to get through to someone to speak to - I was kept on the phone for well over fifteen minutes before speaking to an advisor, and I kept being passed through to different people who had no...

VODAFONE - become a Vodaclone
Advantages: Price Plans, Coverage, Ethics
Disadvantages: The TV adverts
...~~~ Vodafone History ~~~
Vodafone is the largest mobile network provider in the UK and it's headquarters is based in Newbury, Berkshire close to junction 13 of the M4, which is home to over 6000 employees.
Back in 1983, a small electronics firm called Racal teamed up with an American telecoms company and together they bid (and won) one of the 2 mobile phone operators licenses which were put up for grabs by the government.
Vodafone was launched 2 years later in 1985 - the name of the other company was Cellnet (later renamed BT Cellnet).
In 1993 a new boy arrived on the block called One-2-One, prompting Vodafone to look beyond the UK to increase it's revenue and co-inciding with the launch of digital technology or GSM as it is referred to now.
The next 6 years saw Vodafone buying out...

Vodafone UKs best
Advantages: Great if all your friends are on Vodafone.
Disadvantages: If you have friends on other networks, say goodbye to your salary.
...Vodafone is the UKs biggest network, providing the country with mobile telecommunications services. They have more customrrs than any other UK network, and it doesn't look like it will change anytime soon.
My contract with Vodafone is run through Singlepoint, this basically means that I'm billed through a company other than Vodafone itself. The main reason I chose Vodafone was due to the fact that a good majority of my friends are on it. I couldn't face the high monstrous other network charges any more and decided to jump ship, I was previosuly with Orange.
Vodafone has a huge number of tariffs to choose from, one of the most varied the that any UK network has to offer. Theres something for everyone, from low users, medium users and high users of their mobile phone. Theres even packages for peak users and off peak users. In...

Blackberry Storm
Advantages: instant email, brilliant user interface, touch screen, battery life, reliable
Disadvantages: camera, slow boot up
...I have always been a fan of blackberry, all my friends and family own pc?s oe have office type jobs. With the instant email function I can stay in touch with them all without extra charge to myself or to those who wish to email me.
First let?s talk about the price plans available. As you may be aware the blackberry storm is exclusively available to Vodafone customers only, so if you wish this to be your next mobile, you must either transfer your number to Vodafone, be a customer already, or purchase a new contract.
Remember everything in this review is accurate to date.
Now to date you can get the blackberry storm for free from £35 a month on a 18 month contract or £30 on a 24 month contract. On both the 35 and 30 contracts you get 200 minutes and unlimited texts (3000 ? nothing is unlimited) unlimited internet (500MB) and unlimited...
