...Blade 2 is a great movie and quite possibly the best in the trilogy. The movie has some amazing fight scenes, and I prefer the soundtrack in blade 2 to those of the other two Blade movies Blade and Blade Trinity. In this new campaign against the vampire race the rules will change. Blade who is now supported by Scud a bit of a stoner and also a wiz with electronics. Whistler could be out there somewhere, but maybe it?s too late for Blade to save him, maybe just maybe Blade will have to remove Whistler to give him peace. Although finding Whistler is not a central part of the story I find it integral to the story line as it portrays just how close Blade is to Whistler, he is the only person Blade will seriously trust and listen to under any circumstance. Anyway the focus of the story in Blade 2 is on a new creature of the night...

...Blade was first released in 1998, directed by Stephen Norrington, and starring Wesley Snipes as a half human half vampire, who's mission is to slay all the bad vampires of the world. When I first saw this film I loved it, I was a big fan of the comic books, and watching a big screen adaptation was just well worth the wait. I thought snipes was a brilliant actor to play blade, having seen his early films i.e. passenger 57, and demolition man, this guy is a awesome martial arts expert and can kick ass. ...Blade has to be one of my favourite movies of the last five years. The first film was fresh, innovative and stylish and worked extremely well. Such was my enjoyment of the first film that a mixture of excitement and trepidation greeted news of a sequel. It’s a bit like going on a second date – you want more of the same, but you don’t want to spoil the excitement of the first one. Blade 2 was released on video and DVD for rental and for purchase on Monday September 30th. ...In 1998 we were introduced to Blade on the big screen and his fight against the vampire nation. Now Blade is back and he's back in a much faster, action packed movie. Sengoku Blade: Sengoku Ace Episode II Or Bust!

Advantages: A solid shmup in samurai setting

...I was disappointed to find that PAL copies of Wild Arms 4 had a game-freezing bug, given that 505 Games (or 505 GameStreet as they were known) tend to publish titles in low numbers. Anyway... Tengai (or Sengoku Blade: Sengoku Ace Episode II) is a horizontally scrolling shmup that had previously been ported to the Sega Saturn (Japan only), so expect sprite-based graphics fitting for a 32-bit console. This PlayStation 2 port has no performance problems. It's a seemingly routine port, where rapid-fire is taken care of with seperate fire buttons in customisable controls, but it's a port that is perhaps without great consideration - no auto-save, and the auto-load of memory card does not deal with adjusted screen position. (Oh, and they mis-spelt "successful".) The background music seems about audible, but there's no adjusting the audio...
