Advantages: Close to the beach. Close to the shops. Close to the pubs. Night security. Always staffed. Pleasant receptionists. Swimming pool. Free sunbeds.
Disadvantages: Deposit on room has to be paid when you arrive even if you have booked. The pool is small. The rooms are basic. The balconies are small. There is no restaurant or bar. Not very child freindly.

...We have recently returned from our first family holiday and I have decided to review the appartment block that we stayed in. When we originally booked the holiday this was not the accommodation that we choose. The travel agent changed our holiday three times, before we went and this is the alternative accommodation they offered. It was either this, or cancels the holiday and receives a full refund. Advantages: reasonable, good menu
Disadvantages: can be hard to find a table at lunchtime

...Apologies for the duff title, but what can one say... Café Blau Stern is located just on the corner by Nußdorfer Straße Underground station (U6) and on the 37/38 tram routes (they run into the University area and out to Grinzing - a great place for going for an afternoon out of town). Being in a studenty part of town it is very busy during term time, and it can be hard to get a table at about 1pm. Its proximity to Vienna's Wirtschaftsuniversität (WU), whose students are traditionally regarded as very snooty and pretentious, although with plenty of money, makes Blaustern a place to be seen for some, although in summer it can be very pleasant for a change of scene, before heading off for a spot of shopping in the Millennium City shopping complex. Secrets Of The Baby Whisperer....My Bible

Advantages: An informative, sometimes amusing, easy read
Disadvantages: Really have to read all of the book to have a full understanding of the author's views

Food Glorious Food...There's really none like it

Advantages: Cheap, Varied menu, Kids menu, Romantic views over-looking the harbour, Open til late, Central - not more than 5 mins from anywhere, Great dessert menu, It's at the bottom of a hill so if you're staying nearer the beach you can walk off those calories
Disadvantages: No Wheel Chair Access, Opens later than everywhere else so you have to wait longer for your dinner, above a grottier restaurant

.... Favourite restaurant? Anywhere where i dont have to cook. Favourite Flowers? seasonal wild flowers........but really love pot plants.
