...I've been wanting to see 27 Dresses for quite a long time, but have felt a bit put off by the mixed reviews I have read and heard about it. But I do love the romantic movie genre so I was quite sure I would actually like this film, so last night I persuaded my fiance to sit down and watch it with me. He wasn't overly keen on seeing it but I think we're both glad that we gave it a go! 27 Dresses tells the story of Jane Nichols, the woman who seems always to be the bridesmaid and never the bride. Jane has been a bridesmaid for 27 of her friends, wearing some truly awful dresses, and works hard for her boss George at a magazine. Jane's sister Tess reappears wite news of her own, causing Jane to re-evaluate her love life with a little help from newspaper columnist Kevin... I thought this movie was going to be incredibly soppy...

...27 Dresses is a 2008 romantic comedy, starring Katherine Heigl and James Marsden, and was directed by Anne Fletcher. Jane has always been the bridesmaid and never the bride, she?s obsessed with weddings and has in fact been a bridesmaid 27 times, hence the title of the film. When she?s attending two different weddings on the same night, she bumps into Kevin, a cynic who manages to write the most romantic weddings at the same time. At the same time, she?s hopelessly in love with her boss, then her sister arrives back in town and somehow is engaged to her boss within the month. Jane is shocked, how will she ever win over George now? And how will things go with Kevin? What will her 28th dress be? The cast is good, but nothing special. ...I watched this film last night after renting it from Lovefilm.com. A number of people I knew who had seen it had suggested that it was very funny and worth watching, so I thought I would get in on the act ans see what all the fuss was about. 27 Dresses is a romantic comedy which is directed by Anne Fletcher and written by Aline Brosh McKenna. Good unit with Bluetooth, USB & Aux connectivity

Advantages: Bluetooth & Aux
Disadvantages: Looks & difficult to use

...As I have a small car and I am the only person driving it, I decided to get only front speakers. My set up is Hamburg MP57, Blaupunkt Amplifier (90w * 2) with Infinity reference 6020. I am pretty happy with my sound and usually people get amazed when they come to know that I only have front speakers - many people in fact think I have a sub woofer. The system has pretty useful features - you can use it has bluetooth handsfree, which is quite cool and works well - the mic is quite powerfull - even people sitting in the rear seat can speak and the person at the other end has excellent quality. It also has a aux in and a USB conectivity. It has preout for all four speakers apart from the sub out. I tried connecting my friends Nokia N72 and the system was able to play all the songs from the phone - the only issue us you cannot sort the songs...

...this blaupunkt car radio has an excellent radio front end at both FM & (mostly) AM! Its ability to receive AM (MW) radio broadcasts with the usual very short FM whip antennas that are commonly found at newer cars, is a real plus! And the sound on AM isn't bad at all. It does have a good AM IF bandwidth filter probably, that allow you to listen good sounded AM stations, with a quality (at least an AM quality that most newer radios doesn't provide for the forgotten ? MW band), while keeping the selectivity needed for first adjacent channel intereference out. A better noise blanker filter, or a faster AGC wil help a little at city terrains where the manmade static noises are higher! For FM the sound is good (take in account the overcompressed FM modulated signals that most stations have now) and its sensitivity is good enough to get...

The only trouble was, that being end of line meant that you could not order it for delivery, so I did a search of all my local stores until I found one and we reserved it for collection the next day. My husband came home with the tv, we unpacked it and installed it so easily, it was a dream. The Techinical description of this television in the Argos catalogue is Bush LCD27TV005 27in Widescreen LCD TV. The Argos order number is: 529/2150 and we paid £399.99. From what I have read online, this television was retailing at around £600 originially, but at the moment, all of the LCD televisions seem to be 26 or 30/32 inches, so it looks like they are phasing out the 27" ones. ...ugly in an industrial way but that was a popular style a few years back. It produced pretty good document and photo prints and the scanner was adequate for documents but not of a standard to copy photos. When coming to choose a new printer these were the characteristics I was interested in. It had to print to a high standard, the scanner needed to be better and I didn't want it to look like an ugly lump of corporate kit with attachments falling off all the time. Despite painfully setting up the fax functionality first time round I have never received or sent a fax using the HP, in fact I don't think I've faxed anything this century so that functionality was dispensable. At a snifter under £100 the Canon Pixma MP600 packs a lot of quality into an attractively designed package. Ignoring any pointless fax functionality it concentrates...

...Firstly and honestly i had never even heard of the name Lexsor when i was out looking for a new LCD tv. I just seemed to keep coming back to look at it in store. On first seeing the Lexsor i was impressed how sleek and smart it looked compared to others of the same size.
