ASTORIA BLED - A likely bleeding story

Advantages: Good location, good price (for Bled)
Disadvantages: Small room

...When looking to book a hotel in Bled I was quite put out by the prices. Slovenia is not an inexpensive country as regards hotel accommodation and it seemed that to get anything decent we wouldn't be getting much change out of ?100. Finally, after a bit of searching, we managed to book the Hotel Astoria for what turned out to be a very reasonable ?80 from those nice people at expedia...

Bled-dy Fantastic

Advantages: beautiful, beautiful, beautiful..
Disadvantages: it might be a while till i make it back..

...Right in the middle of Lake Bled is tiny Bled island. And when I say tiny, i mean allow yourself around 5 minutes to walk the whole island! Hum-BLED by the perfect Alpine setting

Advantages: Beautful scenery, kremsnita, plenty for children and adults
Disadvantages: Crowds and traffic on busy days, not cheapest food, lack of self-catering accommodation
