...Blizzard of Ozz was Ozzy Osbourne's first album following his split from Black Sabbath. Following being sacked from Black Sabbath, Ozzy was in a mess, living in a hotel and trying to drink and snort himself in to oblivion - Sharon Osbourne who would eventually become his wife, decided to get him back on track and from the brink of destruction, the depressive Ozzy got his stuff together and recorded this rather enjoyable album. A great helping hand came from Randy Rhoads who added an awesome speed to the guitar playing of the band. The only thing that this album really has in common with his earlier work of Black Sabbath is Ozzy's voice, although it does tend to stay in the top rangeof his voice for much of it. The themes are quite different with a lot less of a satanic outlook and a more moody sound, the music is gentle and melodic...

Family Fun at Blizzard Beach

Advantages: Great for everyone, Lots of different slides
Disadvantages: Heat of walkways in the summer

...Let's start with a brief introduction... I have been to Blizzard Beach approx. 7 times. Most of the visits were with my parents between 1997 and 2000, however I recently visited twice in January 2007. WHEN TO VISIT The "When To Visit" Orlando is a well strung out debate...I have visited in July / August as well as January. Most of it is down to personal preference. We last visited in Janaury (60 - 70 degrees each day) and most people said we'd be mad to try the water parks. Ignore anyone who says this. There is no "good / bad" time to visit Blizzard Beach...if in Walt Disney World, head down, if only for a few hours. BLIZZARD BEACH- a clash between water and snow

Advantages: not bad price, looks amazing, some amazing sildes

...Once long ago in Orlando Florida a freak snow storm hit. A very clever aligator decided to make his millions by building a ski resort in the middle of Orlando! Unfortunatly for the aligator the snow storm was only freak! Ever since then the snow has been melting creating water slides like you have never seen before! I recently went to blizzard beach a Disney water park with some of the best slides in the world. It is a place for the whole family an adventure you will never forget. Blizzard beach has some has some of the best slides in the world. These include a slide that reaches 55mph in less than 3 seconds. ...Having been to blizzard beach twice now its one of those parks that will always be in your top 4 The park is set out as though it's just been hit by a massive snow storm with plastic snow all around but do not fear, no chance of being cold with the florida heat .Its a great place to visit for any couple or family. Now with this park being set on mount gushmore you may think of lots of walking is true but you may want to take the chairlift which takes to right the top ready to come back down in a rather different fashion lol.Having said that it's a great way to check out the park . PRICES: On what i recall it was about $35 adult not much difference for any child over 3 but under 3's were free of charge.Always good to purchase a ultimate park pass, which with us just buying some due to us returning next year it cost about £180 per...

One of the best water parks I have been to

Advantages: great selection of rides and pools, plenty of space

...sounds of rustling winds as if you were in a blizzard. Again I thought this was a great idea. How it was done has to be one of the best water parks I have ever been to. Now onto the slides. Firstly we went on the run off rapids which just has curves in it and it took you down fairly slowly. You could ride as a pair or singly. It was a bit tame but was enjoyable and relaxing. Then we went on the black hole. This was dark all the way down with a few spy holes to let a very small amount of light through. You were unable to see the curves and the twists and turns so it was a bit more exciting. Next their was the snow stomers. Basically this ride was just a twisty one. No speed. You layed face foward on the mat and slid down. As you slid down you were surrounded by those white rocks again which made it look like snow. Next was...

This HAS to be the best Disney Park for everyone

...Blizzard Beach is my favourite of the Disney Parks within the Orlando area for so many reasons. Mainly, it is very big and full of things to do. There are nearly 50 rides, which are clearly marked in 'scariness' rating, although most are suitable for pretty much everyone. The park itself can be all viewed from the bottom of the park. It is entirely 'snow-like' and is made to look like a mountain from the bottom. The main theme throughout the park is the irony of the snowiness of the mountain in the intense heat of Florida. When inside the park, it soon fulfils its objective, making you completely forget you are in one of the warmest places in the world, and making you believe that you are in a Disney Wonderland, which to be fair, you are. An amazing park which I recommend to everyone, young and old alike....
