...the case of D&G Light Blue - you spray it first thing in the morning* -And the smell of the chocolate itself makes your mouth water....then you put all the ingredients together...the aromas of the vanilla being released etc... *you put your coat on and leave the house* -then you put it in the oven and everytime you go in to the kitchen it smells Divine!!!! as it's baking *wearing it at work/uni - taking off your coat and people saying "Oh you smell great!" -then you bring it out of the oven and it smells DELICIOUS, obviously you eat some (I'm not advising you to eat this perfume may I add) *the day continues with compliments, the smell is at it's peak as it's had a good few hours to settle on your skin* -and that evening you go into the kitchen and you see the amazing cakes left over and they smell so yummy, you are very satisfied...

LIGHTLY SCENTED, LIGHTLY BLUE

...I first got into this perfume about 4 years ago, and it has stayed a favourite of mine ever since. I was looking for a new smell, and being a perfume label-addict I went to Boots to find out any recommendations. The woman at the counter pointed me in the direction of this. I liked the smell as soon as it was sprayed. It is a sort of clean, fresh, slightly light musky smell, but I think smelly a bit fresh air and cottony as well! The assistant suggested letting the smell settle on my skin and seeing how it smelt after it had faded a bit. Even a few hours later the smell still lingered and many people have commented on the nice smell hours after spraying. You can buy this in 25ml, 50ml and 100ml. Dolce and Gabbana now turn Light Blue

Advantages: orange like smell, refreshing
Disadvantages: none for me but not to everyone's taste

...Dolce and Gabbana light blue is a mixture of citrus and apple aroma which creates the most refreshing perfume that i personally have ever used. Previous to smelling this perfume as a tester in Boots one saturday i was never a perfume wearing girl, as i dont like overpowering scents that you can smell for miles when you walk past someone or vice versa. For me this scent was different it was refreshing and a pleasant citrusy? smell that did not get overpowering when sprayed onto your neck or wrist. It comes as a eau de toilette and even though it is not an eau de parfum i think its pleasant smell lasts just as long and makes you and your clothes smell gorgeous. The smell of light blue?

Disadvantages: Slightly more expensive than most perfumes

...to smell like a tart?s boudoir). I?ve tried Light Blue on the chaps that I work with. They gave my wrist a good sniff and told me that it was ?very nice!? and one of them said (after being told that it was called Light Blue) that it did smell of the colour light blue. Now I?ve never thought about how colours smell but I think he is right ? ocean, seabreeze, bluebells ? all blue? So in all the perfume gets a good thumbs up. It is available in a 50ml edt at a RRP of £34, but you can get it for £24.99 if you have a search on the web ? slightly more that most perfumes, but if you are looking for something different it is worth a try. ...D&G If you suffer really badly from allergies like myself it can often become really frustrating to find perfume and other beauty products that you can actually go near without sneezing, coughing, wheezing and those dreadful runny eyes. As a result you end up buying the same safe products over and over again! I think i had actually been wearing the same perfume for nearly ten years and had decided that enough was enough. After popping several anti-histamines I decided to venture down to my local department store on a mission that I was going to find myself some new perfume. After a good hour or so I ended up with the exceptionally helpful and somewhat patient girls at the Dolce & Gabbana counter where I came upon their "Light Blue" eau de toilette. ...I have just received a package in the post this morning and I'm really excited because it's the Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue perfume I ordered just 2 days ago after reading a review on Ciao! THE PACKAGING The box is a light blue colour, quite appropriately! It appears to have a suede-like texture and is very plain with silver writing. The outer cellophane is sealed with a round silver sticker with Dolce & Gabanna printed across it in blue writing the same shade as the box. Look reassuringly expensive so far! On opening the cellophane, the suede-feel box is gorgeous and very different. I like it. The bottle inside is lovely. To my surprise it fills the majority of the interior of the box, rather than being largely packaging, like some other brands. Bright lights, blue cities

...This is a brand new product Avon is bringing out in the next campaign or so. As an agent I'm lucky enough to get to try new things (if I buy them). The colour stix I bought is called Totally Turquoise and I thought it would be a brilliant colour for the summer months when I've got a little colour on my usually 'ultraviolet' skin. The Colour Trend range is the cheaper make-up range that Avon offer. I think it's geared more towards the teens and young twenties as it offers very reasonable prices and have a 'brighter' range of colours too. The stix (this isn't a terrible spelling mistake - the item is actually called Colour Trend Bright Lights Shadow Stix) is just short of 5" in lengh and is just a little thickner than a regular eyeliner or pencil. It's got a pull off, push on lid and the 'catch' on it isn't great but the lid...

...My absolute favourite perfume has to be the ghost light blue as it has a sweet sense to it but it is not that overpowering sweetness. I also find that it is very refreshing and will last all day long. You can wear it for day and night and it will not fade and you only need a couple of sprays from it. Ghost light blue also lasts you at least a couple of months even if you purchase the 30ml bottle unlike some other perfumes that don't last that long. What I like about ghost light blue is that it is a fragrance you can wear all year long unlike some others where you can only wear them for the winter or summer because of certain scents that they all have whereas Ghost light blue does not have that. I think that ghost light blue has a light scent of vanilla , jasmine and rose petal that blend together to give it that sweet...

...2 simple means of keeping my wireless LAN to myself - 1) changing the default SSID, and 2) setting the SSID to "no broadcast" (basically gagging the router so it doesn't keep announcing its presence to the world at large every so often!). The Belkin default SSID was, in retrospect, actually fairly unique - using the word BELKIN and appending some of the unique letters/numbers from the unit's individual MAC/hardware address to the end. In any case, I had pre-existing wireless clients out there, shouting for access to the Internet in their own way, so I keyed in the SSID I used for my previous 3Com wireless router, and was happy to see these clients start to authenticate and connect into the new Belkin without further modification.
