...This next review is on my time on The Blue Mountains National Park, located in Sydney Australia. A few friends and I had decided to hire a van and take a tour of the national park, as we had been recommended it by several people we had met along the way. I am usually a fan of national parks; it gives you a chance to take in the scenic view, it gives you a chance to relax and unwind if you have had a busy week, and you even get to see some wildlife. It?s a great experience, which allows you to camp overnight, whilst also have a magnificent driving experience. History & Park Info: The park covers 267,954 hectares, which included several mountains and rivers along the trek. ...Advantages: Loads of stuff available, good prices Disadvantages: can get busy at christmas time so much so people abandon their shopping I am a huge Asda fan, it's where I do most of my shopping and I know where everything is which makes it easier when dragging 3 kiddies along with you! In my local Asda we have a photo centre, cafe, George, electricals, homewear, toys, bakery, pizzaria, rottisary (chicken place lol), fresh meats counter and all the usual foody aisles plus we have a petrol station, cash machines and bus stop. It's the largest shopping store we have although we do have a Tesco, Lidl, Aldi, Co-Op, Farm Foods and Iceland. I have never had a bad experience with Asda and the stock is usually replenished quite quickly! They have such a huge range that I know I can do my weekly shop and more there. Everything...

Body Shop Blue Corn 3-in-1 Deep Cleansing Mask

Advantages: Great value, effective skin cleanser and toner, easy to use, first-class.

...The Body Shop's Blue Corn Deep Cleansing Mask is a remarkable product. It's still great value for money even though it's now retailing at £7.50 per pot, it's easy to use, smells nice and, best of all, it really does make a difference to the way your skin looks. Well, it does to mine at any rate. If you are one of the multitude of people who haven't retained that flawless velvet skin of your youth as you've moved into adulthood, the blue corn cleanser is probably a godsend. I tend to have quite visible pores around the central area of my face - forehead, nose, chin; and by using the cleanser just once a day first thing in the morning, my skin looks clearer, healthier and (don't ask me how) the pores are about 95% less visible. ...of soap is quite expensive considering you can purchase bars of soap priced between £0.40-£0.80 in the shops however I think that the price for the Ice Blue soap is excellent and money well spent considering there are no harsh chemicals or preservatives in the ingredients list. Most other soaps contain an ingredient called Palm Oil, where as Lush doesn't add Palm Oil to their soaps, they have found an alternative ingredient to use because the Palm Oil is obtained from Palm Trees in the Rainforests and lots of Rainforest areas are getting damaged because manufacturers are wanting to get the palm trees for the palm oil. I think that using an alternative to Palm Oil is great and more cosmetics companies should start looking for an alternative to add to their cosmetics products like Lush. .... Blue Lagoon manufactures and sells geothermal skin care products which all include some or many of the unique ingredients found in Blue Lagoon. These are available online as well as in the Blue Lagoon shop. They are not cheap! I bought some small bath bombs to take back as gifts (600 ISK each). In the café various drinks and snacks are available - nothing too exciting! But if you have time (and money) try the restaurant. High glass windows look out onto the lagoon. It was amusing watching people pop up for photographs and then sink back into the water for warmth! The food is sensational! As this was our last day in Iceland - we pushed the boat out. It was well worth it. Excellent service as well! The Blue Lagoon is open daily (even Christmas Day) of-season from 10 a.m. and high season 7.30 a.m. It is only half an hour from Reykjavík...

Feeling Blue

Advantages: Beautifully made, very emotional
Disadvantages: Not for those looking for action

...I have to admit I am a lover of French films, but also a lover of films that concentrate on people, relationships and feelings rather than action and excitement. Three Colours Blue fits the bill for me perfectly. The first part of a trilogy - the second being Three Colours White and the third Three Colours Red - it is French but is directed by Krysztof Kieslowski of Poland. I watched all three films several years ago but Blue was the one that appealed most to me, so I eventually decided to buy the DVD. As the event happens at the outset of the film, I am not giving anything away by telling you that Julie's husband and only child, a daughter, are both killed in a car accident. It's a gentle liquid that you wipe over your face using cotton wool to remove any last traces of cleanser, dirt or make-up after cleansing. What they say The packagining describes this as 'A gentle freshener which removes all traces of excess cleanser, dirt and make-up. Leaves the skin feeling refreshed, soft and moisturised. The natural softening and soothing qualities of honey combined with moisturising marshmallow extract, vegetable glycerin and cooling rose water make this an ideal freshener for dry skin. Does it work? This product left my dry skin feeling re-hydrated, and soft.
