.... It is America's number 1 selling foundation and also the number 1 mineral make up brand in the world, proving that it must be good. It is slowly coming into more salons and getting more of the deserved publicity it should in the UK. Quite a few salons, I have found mainly in the Midlands stock BareMinerals, and the salon I work in does also, and has done for several years - the customers love it! Since using Bare Escentuals make up on my face, I would never use anything else and I know alot of customers feel the same. ...I purchased this blush a while ago and have only used it a few times since. Honestly not a very good blush...I can think of so many better ones The one good thing about this blush is the wide ( and I mean WIDE) array of shades it comes in. Probably a pro if you have trouble locating a specific shade for your skin. It covers all the color families throughly, and comes in some nice shimmery shades too. The one I bought is called "Midnight Mauve" and its dark pink with a light golden shimmer. It is impossible to look "much too flushed" with this blush because it simply doesn't want to stick to your skin. Then again, I have dry skin, maybe normal/combination/oily types will have better luck. Packaging is boring boring boring. Dark blue plastic box with a window in the front so you can see the powder. ...I have Estee Lauders 'Blushing natural cheek color' in 06 (rose desire) and the colour lives up to it's name! This simple powder blush comes in a nice looking square palet made of clear and gold coloured plastic. There is no department to keep a brush but the palet is quite small (about 2.5"X2.5" ) and its best applied with a big brush anyway. The blush applies smoothly to skin and blends really well with the estee lauder double act foundation, together they give the most natural english rose complexion. Even if you dont have foundation on the blush gives a lovely but less sublte finish. It's easy to blend and you can easily build up more colour without looking like a clown! The powder is light on the skin and would be suitable for sensitive skin.There is a slight sparkle in the colour but this isn't really visable but adds... Read review

...I love that ‘sun kissed’ ‘just caught the sun on your cheeks’ kind of look, but with very little sun in this fine land, it is very unlikely that I can achieve this effect naturally! The answer to this problem is a) move to somewhere hotter. However, this is not a viable option, and therefore plan b) is blusher! I have tried numerous powder blushes, ranging from very cheap, to very expensive – however they seem to not suit me. I either look like a clown, or an 80’s throwback! Whichever way, it’s not the result I’d choose. It was then that I stumbled across Boots No 17 Soft Blush Cream. It was on offer in Boots, ‘buy one get one free’ – or ‘earn 200 extra advantage points’ either way – an opportunity not to miss. So anyway, since then I have not looked back, and have found it to be a very reasonably priced blush, which has excellent... Read review
