I usually try to strike the happy medium, although I have quite a few pots of blusher I know that if I am careful and choose the right colour that the pot will be with me for many months to come. I paid just under £13 for the small pot of Bare Escentuals Blush, the shade I chose was called `Lovely`. I have pale skin, I need to wear foundation cream and then my already pale skin often looks paler than ever, if I went without any blusher then I would look completely washed out. Advantages: Easy to apply, long lasting, natural, choice of colours.
Disadvantages: Can stain fingertips but only if you don't wash your hands.

The Jemma Kidd range is available in Space NK for £16.64 which sounds expensive for a blusher but it lasts me about 7 months and a little goes a long way!
