BMW 1 series as an everyday family car

Advantages: Plenty. Residual values are also truely astonishing!
Disadvantages: The rear doors - they don't open very wide and it's hard to manage getting very young children and the elderly in and out

Advantages: Nice technologies, and many more adding to the comfort of driving the car.

Advantages: Well built, rear wheel drive, excellent handling, fast, good fuel economy

...Having had several test drives across more or less the full range of 1 Series', trying to establish which version I am likely to buy, I can honestly say that for me there is only one choice! Whilst all are put together to the high standards we have come to expect from BMW over time, I can't help but feel that the price difference in models presents you with a bargain when looking to the 120d. The 118d is a good car in itself, but the difference in grunt received from the extra £800 of going a model up is well worth it. 320 Coupe dream machine

Advantages: Six cylinder heaven

.... Price - £24k for a 320Ci with sports seats, CD auto-changer, front arm rest and metallic paint. The buying experience from my local BMW dealer was again an effortless and pleasurable experience. I also got to view the new M3 in the workshop before it went on public show….mean machine. The Coupe is built from the ground up as an out and out Coupe, it is not your run of the mill converted saloon with two doors. The body styling on the 3 series Coupe is absolutely superb it turns heads and meets admiring glances wherever it goes. The car is wider and longer that the normal saloon and has that to die for Coupe styling. Body coloured door handles/side skirts and the chrome trim around the doors add to the classy lines. The large driver windows with no door pillars make the car look even classier and there is almost uninterrupted 360...

Red Dwarf series 1.

Advantages: VERY FUNNY

Advantages: Another cracking comedy from Gervais & Merchant
Disadvantages: Some people see it as "lesser" compared to the Office

...Right, first of all I get it out of the way......the Office was the sitcom that was critically-acclaimed, and seen by many, myself included, as better than Extras, Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant's follow-up sitcom. But don't think it's any less of a programme...far from it. It was first aired on July 21, 2005 on BBC Two, with six episodes made in the first series, based around two people trying to make a living as extras in films, despite the insignificance of their parts. So, the thing that made Extras somewhat different from numerous sitcoms was the guest stars. Ben Stiller, Ross Kemp, Vinnie Jones, Kate Winslet, Les Dennis, Samuel L. Advantages: Genius comedy
Disadvantages: Disadvantages?!

...-worthy, pompous and embarrassing...and a down-right idiot of a boss. Other characters include Tim (Martin Freeman) - a man stuck in a dead-end job, bored of life at Wernham Hogg, and who seems like one of the only sane people in the company. Gareth (Mackenzie Crook) the "Assistant to the Regional Manager" who is the only man who seems to be on Brent's wavelength...somehow. Dawn (Lucy Davis) - the receptionist, who like Tim, seems stuck in a dead-end job, with nowhere to go but be further annoyed by Brent!
