BMW 325i convertable

Advantages: Fair price, electric roof, leather interior, CD player and, of course 'blindingly rapid'.
Disadvantages: Quite expensive parts, can tend to guzzle petrol depending on the speed.

...Two years ago my brother was serching for a car which had class, good looks, gave a good performance, a soft-top and space for his golf clubs. He found a mattalic purple BMW 325i convertable which gave him everything above. The only thing it didn't give him was the good performance - instead it's performance was excellent. The soft-top folded back itself - what would you expect? The car came with black leather interior, a CD player, alloy wheels, a standard BMW alarm system and lots more. Insurance can obviously be high for a quality motor as with the BMW 325i. If anyone was going to buy this car my advice to them would be that: *BMW parts can be expensive, although replica parts are available at a fraction of the cost. *It may be necessary to buy a wind-breaker, (which breaks the sometimes violent wind when the roof is down...

BMW 325i SPORT - MY DAILY DRIVER

Advantages: STYLING, IMAGE, BUILD QUALITY, ATTENTION TO DETAIL
Disadvantages: LACK OF SPACE, EXPENSIVE SPARES/SERVICING

...Last year, I replaced my 1999 BMW 323iSE saloon with a 2002 BMW 325i Sport. The 323iSE was a very impressive car, and my first from the marque. It gave me several thousand miles of problem free motoring. It was also surprisingly economical for a 2.5 litre straight 6 cylinder, generally returning an average of 31 miles per gallon. However, the mileage was getting a little high (80,000 miles in 3 years), so I looked again to BMW for its replacement. Originally, I was looking for a 330i, and it was in pursuit of just such a car that I found myself at a local franchise dealer. However, the 2000 330i I had intended to see there had not been prepared, and I was understandably disappointed. It was at this point that the salesman mentioned a low mileage 2002 BMW 325i Sport that he had in stock. Obviously as the car was newer, with a much...

HOW SENSIBLE CAN A CONVERTIBLE GET?

Advantages: Weather Proof. Engine. Fuel Economy. Style. Interior Space.
Disadvantages: Purchase Price.

...Please note that the photograph inserted by Ciao at the top of this page is NOT the car of the title - it is the very different last model, soft roof BMW 3-Series. I have published pictures of the latest model - that is, the car reviewed and which the title refers to. WHAT IS IT? The BMW 320d SE is a clever folding metal roof version of BMW's ever popular 3-Series. Particularly interesting in this case is that roof up, the styling is barely distinguishable from the conventional 3-Series Coupe model. The 3-Series has always been one of the more spacious, four seater convertibles, the folding metal roof does not change this, at 4.58 metres long and 1.985 wide, it is identical in size to Coupe model. WHICH SPECIFIC MODEL? The model reviewed here is the new four cylinder, 177bhp 320 diesel, in non-sporting SE trim. This...

BMW 320i soft top, A real drivers car.

Advantages: style, class, powerful and built to last.
Disadvantages: replacement parts can be expensive.

...As a qualified mechanic and the owner of god knows how many cars over the years I have decided the time has come to do an automobile review and what better to review than my one time pride and joy sadly no longer with me my BMW 320i convertible. I bought my BMW in 2003 it was 2 years old and set me back around 12 thousand pounds which was roughly half the cost of buying a new one and was at the time a very good deal. I fell in love with the car after one test drive and just had to have it. Although there have been many different versions of the 320i over the years with very different specs the one I bought was pretty top of the range and had the majority of extras available. I am of course reviewing the car from my own personal opinion so this review will contain information on the extras my BMW had but do not expect to find these...

BMW 330CI CONVERTABLE D/P

Advantages: looks
Disadvantages: fuel

...Brought this car six weeks ago and where do i start?. The power?,the looks?, or the relibilty of the car. The first thing that sold the car to me was when the sales man pushed the button on the key fob and the roof dropped down with out me being in the car, it also does this from quite a distance. I got the m-sport pack which does set the car off a treat. I get on the fuel economy approx 24-25 mpg on a run, i try to keep the at 40 mpg on the dash. This car is fast and in sports mode with the sequntial gears it does hold the road and keeps the power coming. The roof is great and not to bad on drop speed, can do this at lights if straight off, but dont do it if they change quick as you will feel a fool. The car does look great and drives excellent, with the roof down i have not gone for a wind deflector as why have a convertable...

BMW AMAZING PERSONIFIED

Advantages: FAST PICK UP, SUPER COMFY, JOY TO DRIVE
Disadvantages: TOO GOOD!!!!!

...As with all BMW's, this one is an absolutely amazing treat to drive. Looking at it from the outside makes you want to jump in and take it for a drive... once you get in to the drivers seat the shere comfort of it makes you feel as if you are in a world of your own. You turn the engine on and it purs, no signs of a skipped beat or anything. You put the car in to first gear (or drive) and the car jets off. There is so much power behind this vehicle. The pick up speeds are so quick, 0-30mph in 3 seconds - easy!! Even when you are travelling at 70mph on the motorway you can hardly hear a thing from the outside. If you were to make a hands free call to a loved one whilst you were driving on the motorway they would think that you are talking from your bed (so I've been told) - its really that quiet! The sound system in the car is next to none...

Review of BMW 325Ci Coupe

Fast, safe, visually pleasing with a hint of practicality

Advantages: Fast, Safe, Practical, Well built
Disadvantages: Fuel Economy, Servicing costs, Worry!

...This is a fantastic car. I am a huge fan of german cars anyway, but this is one of their best. I own a BMW 325ci 03 plate on around 50k. It has the 2.5 straight 6 cylinder engine, and has the "M-sport" exterior package, which in my opinion, makes the car particularly the 18" alloys. Its surprising how few cars have this exterior package option, and it really makes the car stand out from all the (unfortunately) other 3 series BMW's out there. The car itself is fantastic. The engine pulls hard, and the automatic "steptronic" box is very, very smooth. Clicking the gear stick to the left and putting it in sport mode really livens the car up too, holding the revs longer for example. The suspension and chassis are perfect in my opinion, blending composed and rapid cornering with a plush ride. Minus fuel economy, the car behaves brilliantly...

BMW Sporty Diesel with Low Running Costs

Advantages: Good Resale value, sporty, comfortable, sleek
Disadvantages: Feels same as a much older model.

...I bought a 2004 model 320DSE recently and am pleased to report it is a nice executive car. The 320D range start with a basic model then the ES then the SE and then of course the Mtec Sport. The level of goodies you get with the car go up with each model but they all driver the same apart from the sports suspension on the Mtec. I decided the Se was probably the best value for myself with Climate control, electric windows , 6 speed manual gearbox, electric windows all round, and cd player advantages over the ES. This is the second BMW I have owned. the first being a 316 made in 92, and I must report it is amazingly similar to drive. The pedals are offset to the right slightly but this feels quite natural, the, the brakes are exellent, and the clutch is fairly light but has quite a long travel which I find takes a while to get used to...

BMW Sytner Chigwell

Advantages: Great customer service, aparently no matter who you are.
Disadvantages: Services can be a bit pricey, but not as bad as you would think.

...I have visited BMW Sytner a few times over the last 3-4 years & I have to say, they have the best customer service i have experienced at any dealership, bar none. I am not your typical kind of guy you would see in a BMW showroom, I am 27 years old but look like I am 17, I probably go there looking a bit rag tag aswell (I think i do it on purpose, i am not fond of face value). But I always feel that they treat me with the same courtesy as all of their customers I have been to Sytner for 3 series parts a few times & no matter how small the problem, the staff are always very helpful & polite. They took their time to track down some E36 washers I could have probably got anywhere & smiled at me when i thought they would charge me for it!, lol. Specifically, i find parts prices are not that bad at all compared to mercedes or renault. I...

Didn't convert me!

Advantages: Cute packaging, practical, easy to apply on the go
Disadvantages: No staying power

...On my quest to find the perfect blusher this was another one that came highly recommended from lots of friends and various celebs in beauty magazines. Stila's Convertible Colour is a multi-use make-up item, designed to use either on the cheeks or on the lips, and is a cream based product rather than the traditional powder or liquid cheek stains. The Good This comes in an adorable coloured metallic compact, about 6cm in diameter, with the lid embossed with the Stila logo and lots of pretty flower, and has a mirror inside the lid. Each compact contains 4.5g of the product. I love the packaging with these - really convenient to carry round to be applied on the go - the mirror means this is easy to do and the product is applied with your fingers so no need to be carrying round a brush with you. So far so good! These come in 12...
