BMW 328i Sport Coupe

Advantages: Stylish, powerful, fast, reliable, comfortable, great fun to drive.
Disadvantages: Expensive to run, lack of luggage space, poor fuel consumption.

...This is a review of my BMW 328i Sport Coupe (E36). BMW describe their cars at ?the ultimate driving machines? and with the 328 coupe, BMW certainly does not disappoint. With stylish good looks, breathtaking performance and smooth, precise handling, the 328 coupe is a car that brings a smile to your face every time you drive it. Performance: With BMW?s legendary, smooth 6-cylinder, 2.8 litre engine and 193bhp, the 328 coupe is a pleasure to drive. For those interested in performance figures, 0-60 is quoted at a little over 6 seconds and top speed is limited to 143mph. But those figures don?t tell the entire story. In the 328, power is delivered in such a smooth way and, whilst acceleration is very quick, you don?t realise how quick you are going until you glance down at the speedometer! A nice car to have---BMW 645Ci coupe

Advantages: Nice technologies, and many more adding to the comfort of driving the car.
Disadvantages: None at all

320 Coupe dream machine

Advantages: Six cylinder heaven
Disadvantages: none thus far

...I’ve just recently changed my car ….from BMW to another BMW, once you’ve driven a BMW you are spoiled from driving other cars – its true ask any beemer owner. I’ve always wanted to own a six-cylinder car and always dreamed of driving a good quality Coupe. The opportunity arose when a change in job allowed me to change my car. I test drove a 318 Coupe to get a feel for the car, it was a couple of hours of pleasurable driving and a real shame to have to take the car back. As the dealer didn’t have the 320Ci as a demo (new engine / new Coupe) I test-drove the 330 saloon to get a feel for the difference between a four-cylinder and a six. The difference was immense, super smooth effortless acceleration, loads of torque and that pumping six sound. I was sold. Picked the car up three weeks ago...

Pimping-out my BMW 318iS

Advantages: Amazing control/handling of car and begs to be upgraded (is well worth it)
Disadvantages: Need to upgrade a lot of different things, so have money saved/ready

...If you are going to buy this car, you need to know this: * The "i" in BMW 318iS stand for "injection" (which is good/new) * The "s" stands for "sport" * "Coupe" means "a fixed roof and 2 doors" My car's year: 1994 My mileage: 100,000 kilometers Engine: V6 - 1800cc Service problems: nothing major/expensive yet Original tires: Michellin "?" (15 X 7) Current tires: Pirelli "6000" (15 X 7) FEATURES: The convertibles are not worth buying, as they leak in water when it rains heavily. What is the point of having a roof if it leaks and can't be fixed. I also think the convertible roofs on the old 3 series bmw models look tacky. BMW AMAZING PERSONIFIED

Advantages: FAST PICK UP, SUPER COMFY, JOY TO DRIVE
Disadvantages: TOO GOOD!!!!!

...As with all BMW's, this one is an absolutely amazing treat to drive. Looking at it from the outside makes you want to jump in and take it for a drive... once you get in to the drivers seat the shere comfort of it makes you feel as if you are in a world of your own. You turn the engine on and it purs, no signs of a skipped beat or anything. You put the car in to first gear (or drive) and the car jets off. There is so much power behind this vehicle. The pick up speeds are so quick, 0-30mph in 3 seconds - easy!! Even when you are travelling at 70mph on the motorway you can hardly hear a thing from the outside. If you were to make a hands free call to a loved one whilst you were driving on the motorway they would think that you are talking from your bed (so I've been told) - its really that quiet! The sound system in the car is next to none...

Advantages: Fast, comfortable

...I bought my BMW after my B reg Orion fell to bits. It was about time I bought a new car. I searched on the Internet for the model I wanted (had to get a 1.6 because I knew I wouldn't get insured on anything else!). I found two, one R reg for £8,000, which the dealer would not negotiate on, and a T reg for £6,750. I was lucky because the company were doing a deal at the time. So, f you hold out, you'll get one at that age for around £7,000. However, mileage in all BMWs is quite high. I think this is because they are mostly used as company cars. However, don't be put of by this fact as BMWs are renowed for their reliability. The exterior of the car is sleek and sophisticated and presents a very professional look, especially in black. BMW Sytner Chigwell

Advantages: Great customer service, aparently no matter who you are.
Disadvantages: Services can be a bit pricey, but not as bad as you would think.

...have more recently had an incident involving an insurance claim & chose to have my old 323ci E46 coupe repaired under the supervision of BMW sytner. The whole claim has been a nightmare & I have become very disgruntled with my insurance company (admiral) & will not be using them again, but BMW Sytner have been a shining star. All communications were rapid & informative. After initially contacting them, for anything that had to do with Sytner, i barely had to lift a finger. They dealt with the insurance companies directly & kept in constant contact with me & promptly delivered a courtesy car (a lovely brand new 3 series) they were also generally far less anal about it all than my insurance company, who like to constantly point out stress inducing legal blockades that do not even apply to me. BMW Need New Ideas To Catch Up With Merc.

Advantages: Looks, Performance
Disadvantages: 0-60 could be better

...Got to drive one of my bosses cars at work for two weeks while he was on holiday. I had driven the BMW 330 i Coupe a few times before that when he first got the company car in 2002. It handles great reaaly comfortable to sit in and enjoyable to drive. I love the looks and design of the car, especially for a coupe. The engine spec is as follows:- Cylinders/valves 6/4 Capacity cml 2,979 Stroke/Bore (mm) 89.6/84.0 Max output (kW/bhp/rpm) 170/231/5,900 Max torque (Nm/rpm) 300/3,500 The coupe i drove was an automatic and to be honest i wasnt impressed to much. It seemed ok if you were in traffic but as soon as you hit a straight the response was poor. I did use the tiptronic system and that was ok and responded reasonable. But I think improvements are needed and maybe a little bit improvement to the design...

Review of BMW 330i Coupé

BMW Sporty Diesel with Low Running Costs

Advantages: Good Resale value, sporty, comfortable, sleek
Disadvantages: Feels same as a much older model.

...I bought a 2004 model 320DSE recently and am pleased to report it is a nice executive car. The 320D range start with a basic model then the ES then the SE and then of course the Mtec Sport. The level of goodies you get with the car go up with each model but they all driver the same apart from the sports suspension on the Mtec. I decided the Se was probably the best value for myself with Climate control, electric windows , 6 speed manual gearbox, electric windows all round, and cd player advantages over the ES. This is the second BMW I have owned. the first being a 316 made in 92, and I must report it is amazingly similar to drive. The pedals are offset to the right slightly but this feels quite natural, the, the brakes are exellent, and the clutch is fairly light but has quite a long travel which I find takes a while to get used to...

My bmw - my baby!!

Advantages: Gorgeous, reliable, roomy and screams style!!
Disadvantages: I can't drive it yet!!

...we bought the bmw after our VW Golf was smashed up by my (wonderful) brother-in-law the night before our wedding. I went to look at more VW Golfs, as i absolutely love them, but my husband made a bee-line for the BMW, and fell in love with ours as soon as he saw it. It was £5400 second hand, and had a low mileage, and only one previous owner. When he brought the car home, as always, first thing is to drive around aimlessly commenting on how ace it is. So that's what we did. Or he did, the insurance we purchased had a clause, saying the insurance was void if the car was driven by ANYONE under the age of 25 - which means i have another 2 YEARS before i can sit behind the wheel!!! The insurance we purchased was surprisingly only £10 a year more expensive than what we were paying for the golf! But more about the car - Exterior...
